Staying at home was boring. All I could do was eat and sleep. By the time the week was over it was time for court and I was getting ready in a formal suit that my mom's bought while I was grounded. All of the kids drove to court separately so the next time I saw everyone they were sitting at one of the large tables in front of the room I walked over and sat down in the only seat left which was between Energy and Rockey. "Can we start now or are there any more kids coming?" the jury asked sarcastically "No that's everyone now we can begin as scheduled" the judge said his voice booming across the room and shaking everyone to their core. We all stood up and swore to the gods to tell the truth and only the truth. Then the trial started and Mr. Daye started to present our case. "My client wants to bring justice to the late Florb Solar who has recently been murdered. On the 26th of September News X reported that Florb Solar was set up by a Xeorxian. Since then my clients have stopped at nothing to find the person that is responsible and they have found them. That person sitting to the left of us is his killer." "Objection!" Moone shouted, his lawyer shushed him, calmed him down and politely said "Objection your honor, false claims" "Denied" "Allow me to continue, I believe that we have sufficient evidence to sway you and the jury in favor of guilty. I now present my case"

Mr. Daye walked around the room and gave each member of the jury a copy of all the research and evidence we've collected. The judge began to look through the papers and every once and awhile he would look up at Moone and Night and finally he spoke "How was this information gathered?" "My clients found this out" "Would one of them come up please" "Of course" Mr. Daye walked over to us after we made our decision I went up "Alright Ms. Noble is it true that you found most of this information" Mr. Daye asked "Yes that's correct." "And how exactly did you do that?" "I mostly searched the web until I found something interesting" "Can you tell me what you found" "I found that Lark Moone the defendant and Florb Solar' the topic of discussion are in fact brothers, isn't that right" I said looking over at Moone I barely finished my sentence before his lawyer calmly objected and said "Wy client does not have to answer any questions that are not from a witness" "Sustained" "Your honor my client has no motive and nothing placing him at the scene therefore there is no evidence against him making all claims against my client void and unfounded" "If you would take a look at the third page of the booklet it clearly describes you and Commander Solars falling out and how the feeling of being cast out as an unwanted child has driven many people to murder before." Mr. Daye said while staying calm and composed "No more further questions your honor" he said sitting down "Alright my client is an inspiration to so many young soldiers he's kind, hes brave, and most of all he isn't murderer this stuff that is shown could all be fake, Ms.Noble it is true that you found all this evidence" "Correct" "Other then searching the web how else did you get your information?" for a moment I was speechless I looked around the room searching for a good answer "Is this you Ms.Noble breaking into both Night and Moone's offices" he said slapping a paper on the table "What does this have to do with your client killing my Commander" "Just answer the question Ms. Noble" the judge demanded "Yes, that is how I got the rest of my evidence" "So you illegally broke in and stole information that would be considered classified." "Yes but-" "No further questions your honor" Zelda got out of his chair and exclaimed "Your honor I know I am speaking out of turn but do you really consider a break-in to be of the same level as a murder, Geia should receive due punishment but this evidence should still be viable for this trial to help detain a murderer" "Objection!" "Denied. Continue Mr. Giant" "Thank you your honor now I turn to the jury and I plead to you tha-" suddenly the doors behind us flew open and three people rushed in with a audio tape in hand they were Mr. Law, Ms. Sunn, and Ms. Steel, they sat down in the booths behind us and apologized for being late. "And who are all of you?" Mr.Daye stood up and said "Witnesses" "We have spent long enough bickering back and forth it is now time to call witnesses to the stand prosecutor call your first witness"

"I call Mr. Moone to the stand" Mr. Moone got into the booth next to the judge and Mr. Daye stood in front of him. "Mr. Moone, Judge what do you think of this brand new evidence" Mr. Daye then pulled out the audio tape Mr. Law handed him and played it, it was a recording of the transmission that the humans received from Moone that started the war. Moone was shocked but kept a mostly straight face. "I now call Mr. Law to the stand" Mr. Law replaced Mr. Moone in the booth "Now Mr. Law how would you describe your work experience under Mr. Moone" "Most of the time he was a very calm boss but the moment someone made a mistake it was like something snapped and became extremely violent" "Do you have an example of this" "Yes I spilled coffee on his uniform so he sawed one of the legs off of my desk" "Did you ever feel in danger while working with him" "Yes" "Then that is all. I now call my third witness, Ms. Sunn" Ms. Sunn took her place at the booth and sat down. "How was your experience with Moone while in training camp" "He was always angry when Solar came around he'd automatically be annoyed once he walked into the room, at the time it seemed strange but I thought they were always in a small argument Solar looked up to him a lot and this is how he got repaid very sad how someone could do such a thing" "I didn't do anything! You have all told lies Solar and I had not even talked for years before he died I don't deserve this!" Moone said standing up from his chair "Sir take a seat your turn will come" "That is all your honor" Mr. Daye said taking his seat "Alright obviously you have all held a grudge against my client and that is ok but do not come here today and blame him for something so drastic. You were in a war what did you think was going to happen people were going to die sadly it was your Commander" his lawyer said "Do you have any evidence to show that it wasn't him?" Moones lawyer looked at the judge and then at Moone "No your honor but give us some time-" "By the court of law Lark Moone you are here by guilty of the murder of Florb dante Solar jr." The judge banged his gavel on the desk. The entire room was silent two cops walked over to Moone and tried to put handcuffs on him as Moone resisted. I looked over at my friends who were just as shocked as I was "You are all going to suffer! ALL OF YOU!." Driving home was quiet. My moms had never seen a man filled with so much anger. We left quickly because of the obscenities he was screaming at us and the judge.
