When the light from the lightning had faded, it revealed a middle-aged man. He was tall and had an overgrown black beard with grey streaks on the sides. Together, the teenagers let out a collective sigh, relieving the tension they had been holding in. But as soon as the unknown man started speaking, they tensed up again immediately. "Leave now," the man's message mirrored the warning they'd seen on the wall. "Leave. Now," he commanded once more in a more demanding tone. "Why do we have to leave," Jessie asked cautiously. "Leave. Now. This is no place for a bunch of filthy teenagers," the man replied brusquely, then disappeared with a flash of lightning into the dark veil covering the forest. "I'm not the only one who thinks that was super weird, right?" asked Jared. "No, it was definitely weird," Jessie replied as she shut the door. "M-maybe we should d-d-do what he said?" Mollie timidly input her opinion on the situation. "We c-can just go s-somewhere else for our trip." She continued, tears welling, "I d-don't want t-t-to stay here any longer." Jared quickly encased the girl in another hug to prevent her from shedding more tears. While Jared and Mollie drifted off into their world, Calum and Jessie were wracking their brains to brainstorm the reasons behind the strange events. They went back into the dining room to examine the eerie message on the wall. But it wasn't there. All traces of the runny liquid vanished. Not even the tiny drops that were on the floor were there anymore. "Just what the hell's going on," exclaimed Calum.
A mysterious cabin where people disappear. Four students have to try to survive and find a way to escape. Will they be able to escape, or will they never see the light of day ever again...
Hello everyone, this is my first horror/mystery/romance novel, but I'm so excited to write it. I hope you all will love it as much as I love writing it.
This novel contains mature references such as rape, murder, and gore. If you are sensitive to these themes then please be advised. If a chapter contains them then I'll indicate that it does so there won't be any surprises. Please do enjoy my novel.
