“You love the night sky, don’t you princess?” A deep voice whispered.

I looked down to see a face I couldn’t make out, my vision was blurred

Who is this man?

“Who doesn’t love the night sky?” I replied

Did I just speak? Is this one of those dreams?

“Then let me take you somewhere you will love” he said extending his hand for me “May I? princess Kayda.” he breathed

Did you like the night sky princess?” The voice startled me. I looked around to see Izar and kai already seated across Ashton who was looking at me waiting for an answer.

It was a dream?

The scene made me forget what I was here for.

Ashton Rowan was the son of Director of Rowan Cooperation.

I ignored his question and sat next to kai as I felt ash's burning gaze on every movement I made. He was tall lean and well-toned, his captivating brown eyes that manages to make me feel like I am a deer lost in the woods. His hair groomed, but long enough for me to grab on if I kiss him.

The only man that has made me nervous till now and I hate him for that. I first met Ashton when we went to the party for his eldest brother's appointment as CEO of rowan cooperations. We were both twelve at that time.

Ever since I met him, he refuses to call me anything other than princess. It would be a lie if I say I don’t like him calling me princess, but its annoyingly embarrassing when he calls me that in front of others.

Kai cleared his throat at the awkward silence. I felt Ashton’s gaze drift from me.

“Since the most important person for the negotiation has appeared we can continue.” Kai declared

“So, what is it?” I asked.

Our company had illegal outflow of money, information about which the higher up don’t know, at least that’s what we think. And we were struggling to gather proofs. Since Ash, Izar and Kai were friends, Ash offered help although we don’t know how. Obviously, he isn’t going to do that for free.

They would have probably discussed it before I came.

“A date “Ash replied

“Okay.”

“Huh?”

“Wait what?” I asked confused

“A date with you princess, that is what I want … in exchange of information” Ash explained

I stared at him in disbelief.

“So, you are telling me you will trade the so-called valuable information for a date with me?” I blurted “Right. so, you don’t have any info useful for us. got it”

Ash smirked

“He does have it. We saw” Kai replied , he reached for the champagne on the coffee table.

Ash chuckled as the confusion reflected on my face.

“Why would u think I got useless information in exchange for a date with you” he protested

He went for the refrigerator in the small modular kitchen at the other end of the hall

“It would have been believable if it was money or something in exchange of information” I reasoned

He walked towards me and extended the fancy glass of orange juice to me

“Why wouldn’t be a date with you whenever I want, not be valuable to me?” he questioned

“Excuse me? Whenever you want?” I asked, bewildered

“Yeh. We could have one whenever you want it too.” he assured

“Ehhem. I didn’t give u permission though” I opposed

He leaned forward

“Oh, I know that you like it but if I ask you under different circumstances, you, my stubborn little princess wouldn’t agree” he whispered as I blushed.

Well, he was right.

“Only because we need the information” I asserted

Izar let out a smirk

Ash chuckled.

Oh god, he is handsome when he is in a good mood. This man is going to be the death of me.

“We gotta go” Kai told as he stood up and gulped the last glass of champagne he poured.

“See you later princess” he gleamed

“Mmmhmmm” I hummed

Kai stopped the car at a restaurant nearby since I didn’t stop whining that I was hungry. It was already late night and it is a long drive back home so it was only reasonable that we need some fuel for ourselves.

I started munching on my food and kai didn’t hesitate to grab from mine.

 He let out a small laugh at my glare.

“I don’t want you to waste food” He reasoned

“Fine”

“I hope u don’t have any plans tomorrow”

“Why? Is the date tomorrow!?” I asked shocked

“No” He smirked “Impatient, aren’t we?”

“Nuh uh” I said “I just want to prepare for the date beforehand that’s all”

“Hmmmm”

“We gotta go to moms place tomorrow” he continued

“Oh” “its tomorrow?” I asked

“Yes” he replied
