Azlin waved to Jax while his car went away, she turned around humming her favorite song. The day had pleased her lots more than she thought it would, especially those last few moments.
Almost as if it would turn into a core memory overtime. Just spending time with two friends was a day to remember and as time passes their relationship grows stronger. Like a healthy baby with amazing parents, it flourishes when it’s older and its feelings strive it. With a little push, the adult has become an independent person ready for the world. Lots of kids get a loving life full of happiness. You get good friends, a good family and a gratefulness of the world.
Yet…Some people get the hard part of the world, their minds clouded by hate.
In his childhood, Jax was the youngest of three kids. As a ten year old boy his life was easier, playing with his siblings and just living his best life. It was a normal day for everyone, Jax was in the middle seat between his two big brothers going to school. His mom was on the phone and of one of her co-workers talking about an important team project.
A large car lost control on the road, swerving towards their car and crushing it brutally. A huge crash came on and Jax’s world was gone in an instant. His eldest brother saw the car coming and shouted to his mother as fast as he could but his words didn’t reach her brain fast enough. He instantly hugged Jax shielding him from the impact, the second eldest looked to the side wondering what was happening. Or what would happen?
BAM!?
Their car was on one side of the road while the large car was on the other, looking fine compared to their car. His mothers jaw dislocated with blood gushing out of her, dying within a second of the crash. His brother lifeless while holding onto him, his touch becoming less tighter as the seconds come. The second’s head broken on the glass while the car was sideways.
His eyes wide open as the situation sinks in to him. The full thing hits him like a truck, that they were all dead. Next to him, while he was alive, holding onto his brothers hand wanting it not to leave him. He was the only one alive. Out of all them it was him. Rescuers came for him and got him out but the experience would always be with him.
Gasp..
Jax quickly sat up, sweat dripping down his face. Not knowing what the hell was going on.
Bad dream. He thought.
Taking it off his mind he got up and started brushing his teeth, glaring at the reflection in the mirror. Getting mad at the sudden emotions flowing, he couldn’t take it at all!
Not at all.
Not at all..
Shut up…!
Shut up!
Stop it!!
Stop!!
It.!!!
Crack…crunch….drip…
His hand collided with the mirror and glass chipped off the frame. Blood sliding down his arm and the few pieces on the broken mirror.
