Why was the door unlocked? he wondered until he opened his apartment, and to his surprise, someone broke in.
He looked around; his stuff was scattered everywhere, including his papers. He was terrified that someone was still there, but when he looked around every corner, behind every door, and in every room, there was nothing at all. They must have left out the window since it was pried wide open.
What in the world was happening lately? This seems too real to be a dream, but at the same time, it feels like a nightmare.
Was he actually sleeping? Whatever happened tonight, he will probably forget about it tomorrow since he was going to hang out with his friend.
He could not sleep that night very well, but his magic gets some shut-eye.
Curtis, on the other hand, seemed even more tired than Witt was.
He wondered why Curtis was so tired, like he'd been up all night; there's no way he was right.
Curtis has not said much since he arrived to hang out with Witt. Finally, he said something since I've been awfully quiet, so what do you want to do today?
I'm not quite sure, but I had wondered and started thinking maybe we could go to the museum or art gallery if you would like that idea. Sure, we can go to the museum. And then we can go to the art gallery afterward.
Witt I was kind of hoping that maybe they could go to the art gallery first, but he would not complain since they might be able to get there afterwards anyway.
They got ready to go out and walk down the sidewalk since it was not that far and the city was more like a walking city than a car city, like in Europe.
So soon enough, they saw the museum, and right beside the museum was the art gallery, since, well, who knows why?
Once they got inside, they were introduced to some dinosaur skeletons. One of the mounted skeletons that was reconstructed was awfully close to a resemblance to a dragon, even better that it was newly discovered this year.
It was named Dragosaurus.
The only thing that was different was that it was only half constructed; it was obvious that a lot of pieces were missing, especially on its back. Where Wings could have been, if it had any The jawline looks like a crocodile's shark teeth; it was tall and huge, as well as terrifying to look at.
What was actually exciting? What happens is an actual dragon that'll be a world changer for everybody and for history.
The eyes were the weirdest, yet there were no eye sockets, but it looked like the eyes were filled in with something pitch black; darkness could be seen in them.
Curtis was concerned; he wondered if this was an actual dragon that the winds tore off.
It has wings, and the backbone where dragon swings will be is missing. In the name of it, it was even more interesting that some of the tail is missing too.
If he's a vampire, of course there'll be other mythical creatures that exist too. He can't be the only vampire, let alone the only mythical creature. There is no way in this world that is not the case. He was a vampire almost his whole life so far yet to see another.
Even the whole city he has explored from left to right, top to bottom, nothing, and that goes to show that the city has a population of 10,000 people. Maybe vampires are very rare. Anyone who claimed to be a vampire online has found out that they were lying or faking it.
Cuz they claim more of the stereotypes of regular vampires allergic to sunlight, drinking blood, allergic to garlic, and hating crosses.
where he was not affected by any of that, nor did he want to drink blood. And he's hoping that one day he will not have to drink blood anymore thanks to the medication and replace it with better nutrients from fruits and vegetables he's been trying, so no one can ever get hurt again.
Well, Curtis was outside his thoughts. He asked him if he was okay. You're kind of zoning out, man.
Curtis gave a head nod, and they continued on. They decided to have enough of the museum and go to the art gallery early and check out the rest of the museum later.
They saw our piece here and there, and it was beautiful to see all the beautiful art.
One thing that stuck out of the Curtis was a bat hanging upside down from a tree; it was hand-painted with pastel paint.
It was very detailed and well painted, like if they actually experienced an actual bat on the painting. The bat was big, like the size of a human; it has some human figures to it as well.
He has wondered if maybe, by the off chance that it was a vampire that was painted, he hoped it was
He looked at the painting's name and the author.
It seems that the painting was called The Upside Down Bat, with nothing mentioned about a person, whether it's a human being or a vampire, just a bat.
The next thing he also noticed was that there were little things on the ground around the tree near the back hanging. When he looked closer, these seemed to be apples and strawberries.
Could it be he now recognized the tree he had seen before? He was sure he remembered in the park that some nights in his dreams turned out to be real when he was not normal. He was out in the night feasting on things and hanging upside down a lot, and a few times he felt like he was being watched, so his instincts were going wild half the time, and then he never went back ever since.
He wonders if someone saw him and painted him. He was sure of it. He remembers people walking by freaking out, but he also remembers one person on a bench in a faraway distance. Of course, he was subconsciously aware of this when he was in his vampire state, but when he woke up back to his normal self in the morning, that's a pretty cool drawing that spooked him back since he was so lost and thought
Witt looked at it, and then the name: Hey, I think I know this guy, Keithson. We went to middle school together, and then we parted ways once I went off the college
Curtis was confused. He also mentioned that he was best friends with him if it's the same Keith that he was thinking about, and he mentioned how he was always talking about or drawing stuff about vampires, the supernatural, ghosts, and stuff.
and he claimed that he had seen vampires and ghosts before, but of course, I never believed him, and nobody ever did.
Curtis is now certain that this person Drew him; whoever this guy was, maybe he's one or he has seen others in that Curtis cannot be the only vampire if this guy has seen many
