The art museum in the museum was fun, but it was not over yet. Witt talked about the fact that he had a weird dream about a weird bat thing that he had seen last night. It broke from a cage and sat off a bunch of car alarms.
Curtis remembered that that was him; he was the creature. Thankfully, his best friend did not realize that yet, hopefully not anytime soon or ever.
He also wondered about his friend; maybe he could ask to meet up with him if he still knows him right or something, but he was unsure how to do that.
Witt I stopped for a moment to look at a weird statue. It looked like an angel but also seemed similar to a demon, as well as a mix of the two, a possible fallen angel statue.
Witt went quiet and had his heart picked up, and the reason Kirk could just tell was because he could hear it like it was fear. He has sensed a few fears from people before, but this was different; this was pure terror.
His best friend's eyes seem to flicker a little with different flashes of color. He was starting to shake like he was in a trance of some sort, looking into the eyes of the statue.
Curtis was worried he had to do something. He sensed an aurora of magic from the statue of some sort, or at least he thought it was magic. Maybe he was just intimidated by it as well. You sense something was wrong with the statue itself, so he took Watson away from it as far as he could by the arm. His best friend was still not saying or focusing on anything. Curtis can now tell that his eyes seem to be wide and lost or something.
He started yelling his best friend's name and said that he did not wake up afterwards until finally he snapped out of it with a snap of his fingers.
His best friend looked shocked but was back to normal. His heart rate went down, he was starting to calm down, he was taking deep breaths like he was holding his breath, and his eyes went back to normal. Curtis asked if he was okay, generally concerned that he didn't want to show it, but that did not matter right now.
Witt answered finally and told him that yeah, I just had a weird hallucination; that is all. It never happened before, and he was even more concerned now.
A hallucination What in the world was going on this museum has a lot of strange things here he also sent to some other magical things here and some danger around some of the other places of the museum nearby as well and all he could see in the area was gemstones he wondered maybe there's magic too in this world right I mean magic did turn him into a vampire well, not exactly, it was a witch that made a potion that the crow gave him but who knows he was very young at the time
Anyway, that is besides the point. Right now, they have to leave. This seems to be too dangerous for both of them.
He wondered what was with that statue; did it nearly He killed him or something or hypnotized him; whatever it was, it was not good. Hopefully, it did not have any lasting effects on him other than some trauma. Whatever he saw in the hallucination, he has to know right, but it is also not his business if his friend does not want to tell him.
Strange things have been happening to me, and I don't know what's real or not anymore.
Curtis heard him with his super-sonic hearing and wondered what he meant by that.
Until his best friend was called by a random person, he also recognized that person a little bit as well.
Witt recognized him right away and called him over to Keithson. Long time no see.
They ran toward each other and gave each other a hug. Curtis followed slowly, not to scare anyone, because, well, his best friend just had a panic attack.
Oh, this is my friend from college. Curtis Whitt has explained to the other man, Keithson.
He looked a little scared to meet a new person. His heart rate went up, and he also smelled familiar.
Curtis introduced himself and put his hand out. It's nice to meet you, he said, and in as calm a voice as possible, he wanted to smile, but he never smiled. Keithson's heart rate has gone down. He was much calmer but still scared. Hi, nice to meet you as well. Do I know you from somewhere by chance? You look familiar.
Curtis does recognize him, but he does not say that; instead, he shrugs his shoulders. That was not a reassurance answer for the newfound friend, but he took it as an I don't know
They all decided to leave. Keith mentioned that he did paint that painting after all and that it was based on something he saw once. in the park near the place where Curtis lives. Of course, it would explain the painting a bit, and he wanted to ask Keith if it was a vampire, but he kept his mouth shut just in case he did not want to spill any details about him being a vampire or hint at it at all.
Keith had to go and meet up with his boss at his new job that he has recently been hired to.
Once they said their goodbyes, all the strange things that happened today were the weirdest things ever. Curtis thought of asking his best friend if he was willing to tell him what he saw in that hallucination, but of course he didn't want to step over his boundaries.
Once they got to Witt's apartment, he explained that what he saw was strange and terrifying but also familiar. He explained that a name was being called, but he did not recognize the name. At the same time, he recognized the name and also saw a figure that looked like the statue but was more alive. He was trying to freak out, and his heart rate also went up. He sat on the couch and started to panic some more.
Curtis was not a very supportive person when helping people who were stressed out, but he tried his best to comfort him, even though it's really hard for him because he was unsure what to do. He sat beside him. He looked at him. When he was trying to take deep breaths, he put his hand on his best friend's shoulder with a worried face.
He wanted his friend to be okay soon enough, but he passed out. That was not good.
