All the sounds that could be heard was the occational page turn and the crackling of a fire the torches. || The Trials and Cememony.|| page 20, The three trials are to prove this, Bravery, Kindness, and wisdom.  The first one you must face your fears, whatever it is that you fear most but you must be careful as whatever it is can and will hurt you if you're not careful,  One thing to remember, it may seem real it's not and you must not let fear win you will not be lost in the trials as you will be sent to the entrance but you will not be able to reenter once it begins.||

    ||Trial Two: Kindness, this will test whether or not you are capable of showing it follow your morals and you will do well.|| With this I sighed making notes and thinking, 'What do I fear most? what will I see and will I only see my fears or the others that will attend this with me?' I wondered silently. I sighed heavily rubbing my face momentarily forgetting that I had ink on my hand.  I heard a snicker coming from Cole as I removed my hand. "Oops." I murmured. "Take a break, you've been reading for hours even when you're suposed to rest." he said a bit seriously. He carefully moved my book away from me and my notes. After this he quickly picked me up and set me in one of the more comfy chairs. "Rest and we can continue this later." he said.  I tried to object, but he just made me lay there and ignored my protests. Eventually I nodded off and dreamt of the farm.

       Everything was bustling in the city, and within the castle. Everyone was getting ready for the trials, King Darius came in with King Byron. They looked over Carlisa's notes and the now closed book. "How long has she been studying?" King Darius asked. "Ever since she was told about her being a canidate for the trials, me and her family have tried to get her to relax, that she doesn't have to overthink of the trials, she's been looking up anything she can get her hands on to learn." Cole said with a worried sigh. "I knew she'd be worried." King Byron said.  "How so?" King Darius asked. "When I'm not busy she'll come talk to me or my wife if not Cole himself, she doesn't talk much of her worries and it takes a lot to get her to even talk about any grievences, the rest of her family is the same way." King Byron said.  King Darius nodded, "You did chose her." he spoke up. "I'm aware, she has all of the things required for the trials she just doesn't realize this." King Byron stated.  The two kings spoke for a while as Cole carefully slipped away to grab a snack.

      Somewhere in the kingdom of Staggeria, "Sir?" one of the guards said. "Yes, what is it?" the wizard said in annoyance, "Our spies have reported that the kingdom of Vaton their bond ceremony is well underway." the person said. "So what of it?" the wizard asked. "They're bond with dragons yields more interesting aspects." they said.  "Like?" he asked. "We don't know but since they've heard of the war you are starting, they're preparing to either lock down their kingdom or preparing for any form of attacks from the our kingdom." the said.  The wizared's eyes narrowed but didn't seem worried. 

        "It's not our problem let them do what they want we'll take their home soon." he said calmly. "Yes sir." he said as he left.  "Igor." he said. A small man with a limp quickly hobbled out of a dark corner. "Yes sir?" he asked his voice wheezy.  "Find me everything about dragons." he said.  "Yes sir." he said. With is he left quickly and the wizard went back to doing what he was doing before. "Wormwart, storm nettles and ash, and this potion will be complete." he said quietly. "Something to cause another small storm for the kingdom of Vaton." he said with a small smile.

      As time went on the weather changed drastically, the dragons took noticed and were anxious. "Another one of those spell storms." Ayaz said.  "Again... is it different or the same?" King Byron asked. "Different but more destructive, we should get the people inside until we can break the spell." she said. "Right...easier said than done, they won't all listen." he said.  "Yeah, thinking they know better." she murmured. "Yep." he replied with an eye roll.  "I'll inform King Darius." he said as he spread his wings and took off.  "Good luck love." she said quietly. With this she went inside and up to her Crystal. "Let's see." she murmured to herself.  Just outside her room a glow comes from it and the words of a reversal spell.

     I slowly woke up an hour or so later, Father was in the room and he handed me a small tea cup. "Drink." he said calmly. I nodded, a cascade of thunder rolled in. "A storm? but I didn't even sense one earlier." I said. "It's a magic one." my father said. A dark expression on his face. "Like the one from when I was twelve?"  I asked. "No it's different but stronger everyone is on lock down until the spell is broken." he said. "But who cast the spell?" I asked. "We don't know." he said.  "A dark wizard of some sort." Cole said worriedly. "Really?" I asked. "Eris, was able to track where the eye of the storm is and was able to scry it and figured out where it came from...but not who made it." he said. We nodded, "Mom's working on a reversal spell, but we don't know how long it will take to complete and as long as everyone stays inside then they'll be fine." he said.  We nodded again, I took a drink of the tea, it was a carmel tea, nice and warm and sweet. "It's been a while since I've had this." I commented. "I'd hoped that you like it." Cole said. "Thank you." I said gratefully. "Now by King Byron's and Darius's orders you must take the rest of the day and all tomorrow off, but you will not be serving anyone not even any royals." Cole said with a bit of a smile. I nodded, a bit anxious about the trials. "What will happen when the ceremony is complete?" I asked. "Don't really know I haven't been informed of that." Cole said. I nodded, after this we took some time to relax and rested the rest of the day. I leaned back after finishing the tea, Cole made sure I had something to eat as well. Once I was done, I briefly left to go take a nice hot bath. "See you later." I said calmly. "See you later." Cole said calmly.
