I quickly followed them my family looked curious and nervously. Silently we went down several corridors and then we arrived in this one room full of different gowns, they were really pretty, Princess Starla was in there getting ready. "Oh good Carlisa come here and h-" "No." her mother said imediatly. Myself and the other servants looked at each other. Starla went silent and she went pink in the face. I kept my head down and waited to see what the queen needed me to do. "Miss Carlisa, please choose any gown and shoes that you want I will bring you any jewelry that you want." the queens said with a smile. 

         A glint of satisfaction as I glanced at the princess who looked shocked and angry. I surprised a giggle and carefully looked around at all of the dresses. I slowly walked around looking at the many dresses, while the queen calmly waited for me. A moment later, my mother was brought in and so was my sister and grandmother, "Your father, brother and grandfather are in another area to get ready for the banquet as well, also if my daughter gives you trouble let me know." she said. "I'll be right back." the queen said calmly. 

                so together we all chose something my mother chose a simple yet eligant green dress with some gems embeded in the collar, my sister has a red dress with some gems as well and my grandma chose a pale purple-grey dress, I chose a blue dress that had a silver line in the collar and at the cuff of the sleves, The princess was staring angrily but refused to say anything. The servants didn't mind helping us, and whispered congratulation to us. The servants were the only ones who didn't have a problem with me or the orthers being able to attend the trials. "Congratulations, and good luck." they said quietly. "Thank you." I replied. I felt a bit better, but was still anxious.

        Quietly we finished and I was given some make up, 'I don't like make up...' I thought to myself. As time went on the Queen came back with a small box with Jewelry, we each picked out one piece she said we could wear more as we'll be able to keep the outfits. This surprised us, I picked out a silver chained necklace with an emerald in the middle. It was shaped like a diamond, it brought out my eyes a bit more. My sister took a small hair pin it was a that of a flower a rose. My grandma has a small gold bracelet and my mom has a small pin that she attached to her dress it was a small owl with green eyes. Once we were done we all left and went to the Dinning hall, a place I rarely went to even with my status having been brought up. 

        There were so many people, many had finally calmed down after everything and were given warnings by others to be orderly and kind and not agressive towards anyone. Me and my family were placed with Lotus's family, I've met her a couple times in the other study, she wore silver glasses, and a violet purple dress with a silver gloves, her hair done up in a bun and a lotus flower pin. She smiled a me and I smiled back. "You look so pretty." I whispered. "Thank you, so do you." she said kindly. "Thank you." I replied calmly.  I noticed the royals looking sour and angry, the others like me were nervous. Together we all got sat down so many others were here, both humans and dragons, together we all waited to eat as the two Kings spoke. 

         King Darius stood up a moment and put his hands up for total silence. "Welcome! everyone Welcome!" he said with a smile. He seemed more cheerful especially after the storm was stopped fairly quickly. "So as you all know the Trials and ceremony are tomorrow." he paused for a moment it was still silent. "Well, everyone has prepared well for what's to come a word of advice, "Work together, be kind and follow your hearts." he said. Once he was done King Byrom spoke up, 

         "The reason you were all chosen, some by birthright, others for the characteristics that you have each and everyone one of has what it takes to take on the trials, some of the dragons whom you will be bound to have already chosen you, others are undecisive and that's okay, not all of you will pass and that's okay, you will know wel that you did your best and are still good, don't be discouraged and don't change." King Byron said. The canidates nodded. Once this was over we all sat down and begun to eat. It's been really hard but I managed to eat calmly I watched everyone carefully not really talking a ball will happen afterwards, I have been to one of those either so I don't know what to really do at all.  Amidst the crowd I spotted a figure that I didn't recognize, I didn't make eye contact or look in his direction, it was the same hooded figure from before. 'Who is that? does anyone else notice him?' I wondered to myself.  He didn't stay for long and I soon lost sight of him as everyone got ready for the ball.
