"What's it like serving the princess?" Benny asked. I didn't really say anything but by expression alone he understood. "Yikes." he said. I nodded slightly. "Are you friends with the prince of dragons? I heard rumors of that." Lotus asked. "Yes." Cole said as he came up, he was in his human form. wore a suit that was jet black with jade diamond shaped gems, his hair was short but neatly kept with strands of lighter blues. His green eyes shone. "It is a pleasure to meet you all," he said. The others nodded, "How are you? your highness?" Benny asked. "I'm fine, thank you." he replied with a smile.   "How did you guys meet if its okay  I ask. sir." Kathy asked.  He looked at me and I nodded with a smile.  "It was six years ago." Cole started, "Me and my family and some of the other dragons had decided to leave our kingdom, retreating to prevent us from being forced into a war we didn't want to be in." Cole continued.  "We moved from Staggeria, to Vale for a time but were followed by the people of that kingdom, wanting us to stay, we continued for about a week before we stopped at Carlisa's farm, I was tasked to ask if we could stay for a few days." Cole said. "What did you think when you first met him?" Benny asked. 

     "I was surprised, I typically have my guard up as you don't know what wild animal could sneak up on you in the country, But he didn't hurt me in anyway, when I turned around I was startled at first and was about to fall backwards and he caught me." I said. "Woah..." they all said.  "I admited was surprised she wasn't afraid of me." he said. "No offense." he said. "None Taken, I will admit I was scared at first but after talking to you I felt at ease safe even." I replied. He smiled a little, "King Byron then landed nearby and I spoke to him for a bit...he asked me to ask my dad if they could stay for a while and dad said that they could, We all worked together on the farm for a while." I said calmly. 

     "Woah! that's really awesome!" they said. I chuckled a bit, "So why are you here when you were a farmer, Just curious nothing wrong with you being here." Kathy said. "It's okay, well... A storm came and a fire unfortunately destroyed the farm, we couldn't do anything to stop it." I replied.  'A cover story to keep the dragons safe.' I thought to myself.  "Oh, did it spreed to fast for anyone to stop it?" Benny asked. "Yeah, We were able to keep in confined to the farm and it didn't spread to anyother places, it was the dry seasons so it made the fire worse." I said. "I'm sorry." Kathy said. "It's okay, Since we let the dragons stay with us, they brought us to the capital and King Darius gave us a home and job it was thanks to him and the dragon royal family that we're here." I said simply.  "Wow...did you and Cole go on adventures?" Lotus asked.  "Yep." we both said at the same time. we paused as some people were looking over the hooded figure was back. Cole took notice of the person, "This is the third time we've seen them." he whispered and slightly nodded towards them. I nodded solemnly.  "HEY! HALT!" a guard shouted. The figure ran off but was quickly grabbed by Ayaz, she was in human form.  She was tall pale and her eyes were full of suspicion. "Oh boy, my mom's not happy..." Cole said.  

 

        Ayaz and several guard took the hoodedd figure out of the ball room and everyone was murmuring, "Everyone! calm down! It's alright." King Darius said.  "Just stay here and enjoy yourselves." he said calmly. After this everyone got settled down but Cole and couple of the other dragons who were going to be in the bonding ceremony hovered closer to them to keep them all safe. About two hours later everything calmed down and soon everyone was ready for bed to prepare for tomorrow. "Good luck, I believe in you." Cole said to me. I smiled and nodded, "Thank you." I replied.
