Inside the van, Furyo was instantly at ease as the European taggers blasted underground hip hop from Lost Boyz, Boot Camp Click, Black Moon, The Pharsyde and Black Sheep. The girls warming up to him, offered him some pot brownies they made and instant noodles. Furyo devoured the food and wasn’t shy about asking for more. The girls laughed and made a game out of stuffing his face with almost alcoholic fruit salad, rice balls filled with chicken and pork in seaweed wraps and washing it down with beer they had rolling around the back of the van. The girls were also vandals, they were school mates of the guys. Their names were Smurf, Dinky and Angelina. The girls seemed to be half asian but maybe just had some stray ancestor as they all claimed Caucasian heritage.

Arriving at a paid parking lot. They unloaded ladders and buckets of paint. They were near a construction site of a new row of buildings adjacent to the rail station. Brand new windows, empty escalators and best of all. The Guard was in on it, he was also a graffiti writer from Tokyo named Kreature. He had been offended by the security company so he decided to quit in spectacular fashion… allowing the European vandals to fuck up the roof. They all hurried in the big lobby of the still unoccupied shopping center. Taking the fire stairs to avoid being seen by nosy neighbors in the high end shops of Harajuku. Coming out onto the roof just as the sun was setting making the shadows stark as they were in a sea of darkness among the flashing lights and massive tv screens of the elite shopping district. 

As the Euro guys began busting fat graffiti letters and fill ins. Furyo was trying to figure out who was single, who had a crush on who and if it would be a problem if he hooked up with any of the chicks. 2 of them were spoken for. Smurf and Dinky were on again off again with Plaster and Daffey, were the sisters of another tagger who didn’t make the trip because immigration found out about a criminal record named Hostage. This left Angelina open for some fun. She was tattooed all over her hands and cleavage and told Furyo she was a stripper and hangs out with outlaw bikers back in Holland. She wouldn’t have been his first choice, he tended to go for nice girls but she was sweet and interested in hearing his life story. They smoked some weed and ended up sneaking off to have sex overlooking the city. They must have been at it a while because the girls came looking for them and started giggling when they caught them fucking on the gravel in the blinds around the backside of the roof. 

Before long they returned to the group to smiles and offers of laughing gas. The had some canisters of nitrous oxide, like what’s in whipped cream and dust off. This made the lights of Harajuku blur like warp speed in Star Trek. Before long it was time for Furyo to add to the piece. Furyo started laying out complex geometric letters and Angelina added some satanic looking figures of naked nuns, voodoo goats and skeletons. It was pretty epic, stretching from one end of the skylight to the other end. About 120 feet long and 9 feet tall. Furyo outdid the rest of them who did simplistic stuff. Furyo went full wild style with fading colors, 3D and angular letters that looked like a cyborg about to sink its teeth into the characters beside. Furyo started sensing a bad vibe, so he and Angelina decided to go check out the stores and score some more alcohol. 

Angelina didn’t tell him she was stealing and they got chased out of a shop by a group of nerdy looking men in headbands and waving around kitchen knives. This didn’t startle Furyo has he made short work of the pursuers when they were cornered in an alley with no way out. The men screamed and charged with weapons held high, Furyo swatted down the knives, kicked them and threw some nasty punches. In seconds he had their wallets and were back in the store carrying out arm loads of stuff as the police roared by. Feeling like the night was too good to test their luck, they waited beside the van for every one to return. There was a big misunderstanding and Furyo ended up dropped off back in area where Cynthia lives. She wasn’t home and he was alone again as the rain started to come down. He ended up spending the night in an alcove where vending machines were stacked so deep, he found a warm place behind them to doze off safe and sound. Sometime during the night a pregnant stray dog curled up next to him for warmth. Was a grey pitbull with blue eyes, clipped ears, likely raised for fighting but seemed like a sweet dog with a hard luck story like his.
