Being fearless is not one of the strong points. The Colonel believes that I can be brave by acting to be brave. She’s not wrong, everyone feels some sort of fear, it’s a survival instinct that keeps us alive in perilous situations. However, sometimes that same survival instinct can cause an individual to commit a cowardly act; that is something I’ve always tried my best to avoid ever since that incident. When Mavis went rogue, technology betrayed the hand that created it and brought chaos to my peaceful life. With time, she created more like herself and her chaos spread throughout the world until it arrived at my doorstep; her forces barged through my doors and attacked my family, my brother and father stalled their force while I ran in fear… To this day, I am still revolted by what I did, a cowardly act I swore that I would never repeat. Usually, any girl in my situation would tell themselves that what they did was natural, that I wasn’t in the wrong for running, but that is a lie I never told myself… Sometimes I ask myself, what am I even doing here amongst the rebels or even the crusaders? How did I even convince myself that this would be a good idea... Never in my life did I think I would ever partake in a suicide mission, but here I am, at the mercy of fate. I could give in to fate right now if I wanted to, it would be better for me to give in now than prolong this all… but, what kind of person would I be if I just gave up? I would be the coward of my former self that ran away from the problem, I would disappoint the Colonel, cause pain for the other rebels… It would be selfish of me to just let go of it all… but I never asked for this, all I ever wanted in life was to become a chemist or even an alchemist, live a simple life, get married, and have 1 or 2 kids. Is that even possible now... No, it's not. The life I’ve always wanted died the moment I chose to join this mission… even so, my life has been somewhat enjoyable, other than the war, I’ve made some good memories at the rebels, and I’ve managed to keep the promise that I made to myself all those years ago. In the end, I am a coward masquerading as a brave rebel.

Final thoughts before the rebels took action in an attempt to deny death to its victims. The Colonel and Bradley stood ready with their weapons while Chemic and Flash aimed their plasma weapons at the enlarging matters above them as they held on to the trigger. Upon releasing the trigger, a burst of violet discharged from their guns like a massive plasma beam. The plasma beams incinerated a majority of what was above them while buildings and vehicles were crashing around them; Bradley sprung straight up and flexed his right arm as he remembered Ethan’s words, each punch releases an electric discharge upon impact; however, the more strength you put into a punch, the more electric discharge will be released on impact so make sure to put your all in a punch when it matters. 

Putting his whole body behind the punches, Bradley with all his strength punched the falling debris; a surge of electricity discharged from the gauntlets eradicating the falling debris as sparks of electricity erupted in destruction. 

The chaotic duo were caught in a tight spot as buildings and vehicles were falling over them making it hard for them to avoid; with a massive building looming over them, the chaotic duo put the bottom of their feet against each other’s and propelled each away. The repulsion force from their electromagnetic shoes swiftly thrust them away from the range of the falling building. However, avoiding one falling object left them open to other falling objects such as the truck that was approaching Kunoichi; quick to react, she shifted her body in mid-air for her feet to make contact against an incoming falling truck; plummeting toward the ground, Kunoichi propelled herself toward the ground as she front flipped landing on her feet and swiftly sprung away from the truck crashing onto the ground. Knowing full well that she wasn’t safe yet, she jumped onto the side of the truck while it was crashing to avoid another falling vehicle; leaping off the truck, Kunoichi began swiftly bouncing off falling objects, going higher and higher until she was in clear air above the fallen matters. Hovering above the chaos, Kunoichi was taking deep breaths as she was catching her breath to calm herself down. “HEY!!! KUNOICHI, YOU MADE IT!!! LETS GO CHI!!! WOOOO!!!”

Kunoichi chuckled as she saw Ninja in the distance, “HOW THE HECK ARE WE STILL ALIVE AFTER THAT!?!”

Ninja laughed, “I DON’T KNOW CHI, BUT I AM PUMPED!!!” 

“You guys do know you have radio comms right?” Flash asked over their communication devices.

“…”

“…”

“Y-Yeah, of course, we do, I’m just too pumped to use the earpiece, hehe,” Ninja replied awkwardly.

“Riight, well anyway, it's good to hear you’re both okay after all that.”

Kunoichi looked around to try find the other rebels, “Are the others okay?”

A dust cloud had formed, covering the entire area, obscuring vision within it. Coughs sounded through comms, “Yeah, we’re alright this side.” The Colonel answered as she analyzed her surroundings. 

“I can see your heat signatures, are you able to move from your position?” Ninja said as he moved toward them. Seeing that they were surrounded by rubble, the Colonel looked up and saw an opening for them to get out. “Come on guys, we can hover out above all this rubble.” 

The Colonel activated her shoes and slowly hovered up but Bradley launched past the Colonel like Superman, “Could you be careful Bradley, the last thing we need now are accidents.”

“Don’t worry Colonel, I just making sure the path is clear in this dust cloud.” Bradley hovered down, landing on the rubble of crashed buildings, vehicles, and other fallen objects. “Honestly, I’m surprised we all survived that.”

“I must agree with you Bradley, if it weren’t for these weapons Cyber gave us, our lives would’ve ended right there and then.” The Colonel stated as she raised and landed next to Bradley, “But even so, it is the collaboration of Cyber’s creations and our abilities that has allowed us to survive this; we must make haste Rebels, the sooner we destroy that device, the better our chance of survival will be.”

Flash was helping Chemic hover up to join the others before Kunoichi & Ninja arrived at the scene, “But we’ll need to be careful, the surrounding areas still have the zero gravity effect.”

“That is not good, that robot will likely keep turning off the gravity effect in every area we step in, and I don’t think we’re capable of keeping casualties at zero for all those areas leading up to the device’s location.” The Colonel said in all honesty. 

“Then what should we do?” Chemic asked.

“In keeping the casualties at zero and also not wasting the ammo of our special weapons, I suggest that those of us who lack advanced mobility training to retreat back into the lab; Ninja & Kunoichi will get us to the location, their mobility is far above ours as they survive all of this with just using their mobility, am I correct?”

“Yes Colonel, I’m surprised we did though,” Ninja replied.

“Then we can rely on you two to get us to the device’s location. We will be observing through your eyes so that we can assist you if you’re in any danger.” The Colonel said in confidence of their ability. 

Kunoichi pulled out Laboratoria, SHWOOP, SHW-SHWOOP, “We are in your hands now, Kunoichi. Be sure to get us there alive.” 

“Yes Colonel, I will do my best.” The Colonel nodded at her before entering Laboratoria. SHWOOP

The dust cloud was slowly clearing up, making it easier for the duo to see their surroundings. “This should be a piece of cake,” Ninja said in a jovial tone. 

Kunoichi chuckled, “Yeah, this is nothing compared to our old jungle gym back at home. We’ll smoke this stage.” Ninja laughed, “For real, this place ain’t got nothing on that jungle gym.” Both chuckled to keep their spirits high as they stared at the dangers that hovered before, “We got this Yuna, don’t let fear or doubt creep in. We are ninjas after all, aren’t we?”

Kunoichi smiled as she remembered him saying those same words to her when they were kids, “Yeah we are.” They fist-bump each other before running off toward the looming dangers. Swiftly moving over the rubble in the area, the duo launched themselves up into the sky and landed on a floating building. Dashing across the building, leaping off the edge, and swiftly springing off other floating objects, quickly making their way toward their destination. 

Meanwhile, a building was rushing toward Tony as Cybris thrust it toward him; Tony blasted the building with a Maroon burst obliterating it before it reached him. Cybris noticed the duo were making their way to the device’s location again, “How in the world did those two survive that? It must be Lord Quinn’s doing, somehow they survived but the others didn’t. No matter, they won’t survive another attack like that. 

Section 5 deactivate 

Gravity took its effect as the objects began falling, the duo instantly began hovering and quickly looked around before taking action. Avoiding falling vehicles, they spring off them and propel themselves away from collision courses with other falling vehicles and objects. Surviving the chaos, the duo continued into the next area, “That was easier than the first time.” Ninja said while moving swiftly across the environment. “Think that’s because we avoided being under buildings," Kunoichi replied.

Surprised to see them moving into the next section, Cybris was distracted to the fact a truck was charging at him as it collided with him. “You seem distracted, Governor. What could be more important than our battle?” Tony asked as he tried figuring out what was distracting then he remembered something, “Oh the rebels, where are they?” He looked around and saw the duo as they swiftly maneuvered through the floating objects. “Colonel, check-in???”

“Colonel, over… we’re okay Tony so don’t worry, the rest of us are in the lab.”

Tony sighed in relief, “Okay good, for a second I thought you guys died in that wreckage.”

Cybris shrugged off his collision with the truck, those two humans are persistent, I need to deal with them personally. However, I have to deal with this guy first… judging from my position, I’m in section 4 which is perfect, I’ll let gravity handle him.

Section 7 Reverse polarity

“Huh?” To Tony’s surprise, he found himself to be a victim of gravity as he was being pulled to the ground along with the former floating objects of the section. Crashing to the ground, another dust cloud formed as the ground rumbled. The duo kept moving forward, focusing only on their destination; not knowing that Cybris making his way toward them as he moved swiftly jumping on & off objects. Once he was close, Cybris thrust a whole building toward the duo; they had jumped off a floating vehicle when they saw it coming as it was too big for them not to notice it. With the building coming in fast, getting out of the way was impossible as they realized there was only one way while standing on a car; it all happened so fast as they swiftly jumped & broke through the windows of the building, rapidly began running on the walls, jumping through doors and dodging rampant furniture to reach the other side of the building. Nearing the other side, the building crashed into another floating building causing shaky ground for the duo to run on but they persevered with one last jump through the windows on the side as the building crumbled behind them. Falling with the shards of broken glass, the duo sprung off a floating bench and began hovering. “What the heck was that?” Ninja exclaimed excitedly. 

“I don’t know, there’s no way that was natural,” Kunoichi said as they looked in the direction that building came from. Upon seeing the enemy, Ninja unsheathed his sword while Kunoichi quickly drew an arrow from her quiver, pulled it back on the string of her bow as sparks flashed, and aimed it at Cybris who was standing in the distance on a floating vehicle. Cybris slowly clapped his hands, “Well done humans, I’m impressed you managed to survive this long, I was so sure that the building would kill you, but here you are. If buildings and vehicles can’t crush you two then I will do it with my own hands.” Sparks flew as Kunoichi released the arrow, Cybris reacted in time but the arrow pierced through his hand and missed his head as he tilted it to avoid the arrow that streaked passed his face, SWOOOSH. Propelling himself off the truck, Cybris was quickly closing the distance between them and was reaching his hand out to grab Kunoichi’s head, but to no avail as a bolt of lightning cut through his arm. Dazed by the attack, he was vulnerable to Ninja’s attack as he swiftly dashed past Cybris having slashed him in half through his abdomen with his new plasma sword. 

What the hell is going on, what cut my arm?

The lightning bolt came back around and boomeranged back into Tenzin’s hand. Looking to his left, Cybris saw Tenzin in Codey’s body as he sneered at him. Falling to the ground, Cybris fell into his resentment as knew his physical battle was over, leaving him one more chance to win this battle.

Section 2 Reverse polarity

The sky was coming down on the duo and Tenzin as buildings and cars were dropping down at them, leaving no time to escape before being crushed. The buildings & vehicles crashed to the ground causing a rumbling and quaking of the ground as a dense dust cloud formed amidst the chaos.
