Read Monument Of Ascension :: Chapter 3:

I stand before the massive spire, a group of people all connected only by myself surround me. We all talk and introduce ourselves and once we're all familiar we enter the spire. Upon entrence we're met with a gilded lobby. The lobby actually looks like the floors, walls and ceilings are plated with gold, and yet the floor itself isnt overly hard, in fact its almost plush. I try not to think too hard about that though, with everything thats happened already I cant exactly trust common sense to be so sensical.

We walk up to the only feature of the room outside of the various channels that run along the walls and floors and cielings - a strange sphere in the center of the room. I notice a strange... almost electric feeling fill my body more and more as i get closer to the object.

"So uh... what do we do with it?" Julie crosses her arms.

I sigh and reach out to touch it.

A brilliant emerald green hologram appears before me.

"Huh... well, makes sense with whats happened so far. Touch it guys" I tell my comrades.

"Are you sure?" Craig asks suspiciously.

"Yes craig. Just touch it, it will register you and give you your task"

Everyone steps fourth, their eyes widen in disbelief upon seeing their status window.

Once everyone registers a loud ding sound is heard.

I click on monarch and wait for everyone else to decide.

"Let's Go! I get to be a king!" Sam exclaims.

'Oh... well... This is gonna be interesting..' think to myself.

Once everyone selects their roles, my vision goes black.
