Hearts are always nourished by sweet words, tender touches, and even affectionate glances.
I could fall into the paradise of your eyes a million times, every time you smile and gaze at me as if I'm the only one.
As for the past, it was just a brief glimpse into our depths and our essence.
Let's move forward now, and get to know each other again.
Away from the past, Hana begins her daily life as usual, from work to home, with no particular habits. The only thing that sets her apart, like a small fraction of society, is that she doesn't use social media. She's content with making phone calls to check on her family while she's away and exchanging texts with her friends as a form of communication. Even if she were closer, she'd prefer not to be tied to her phone. Using email for work suffices for her. It may seem strange for someone in her twenties, as most of her peers are enchanted by social media, but she pays it no mind. Living a quiet life is enough for her, perhaps a life that someone else wishes they had.
Amidst all this, the innocence and spontaneity still shine through her smile every time.
Days have passed since Hana and Nadir's last encounter, the spontaneous meeting that uncovered whispers of the past. It was a meeting that awakened Nadir to the realization that perhaps, if he had held on and asked, if he had paused for a moment to grasp the edges of truth, they wouldn't have torn apart due to baseless anger and meaningless hatred. Perhaps his eyes would have sparkled even more because of her smile, which remained perfect even as anger consumed him.
It's the weekend, and Hana is about to leave her workplace. As usual, she shines in feminine clothes that accentuate her femininity and beauty. She wears a light white dress while holding a long royal blue jacket in her hand and carrying her laptop bag in the other hand, trying to close the laptop in front of her desk to finish her workday. The echo of her brown high-heeled footsteps resonates as she heads out of the office until her colleague's scream shakes the place. Hana drops her bag and coat on the floor, leaving her laptop on the corridor, caring only about her colleague who seems to be in labor.
Hana collided with her colleague, who sat on the ground in pain. She screams as if her voice is unheard, and Hana, tense and visibly worried, not knowing what to do, rushes to comfort her colleague, saying,
"Okay, okay, breathe slowly. We'll go to the hospital now," while her colleague tightly grabs Hana's wrist and screams even louder. Until another colleague approaches them, saying,
"I called the emergency, they are about to arrive,"
Hana nods as her colleague screams.
Within moments, the ambulance arrives to transport her colleague to the hospital. Since she hasn't left Hana's side and still holds onto her, Hana accompanies her to the hospital, leaving her belongings behind, caring only about her colleague's well-being.
Minutes passed until they arrived at the hospital, where the doctors transferred Hana's colleague to the delivery room while Hana accompanied her to soothe her until they reached the destination.
Meanwhile, Hana was at the hospital, Rayan, her cousin, tried calling her, but no one answered her phone.
He kept calling until someone finally answered. Rayan sounded worried as he spoke on the phone, saying,
"Sister, you scared me. Don't delay in answering again."
A man's voice responded to Rayan, saying,
"Hello, Hana left her belongings here while she was being transferred to the hospital."
Rayan replied anxiously, "Hospital? What hospital?"
Hana's colleague then spoke on her phone, saying, "The hospital next to the company. Okay, can y..."
Rayan didn't listen to the rest of the conversation and ran in fear towards the hospital, tears streaming from his eyes without understanding or realizing the truth. Hana's colleague wondered about the call interruption, then muttered, "What about her belongings?" before sighing, "I'll return them, then." He gathered Hana's belongings, including her coat, handbag, and laptop from the ground, and then he headed towards the hospital.
As Hana stood nervously in front of the delivery room, Rayan had already reached the hospital reception. Tears streamed down his face, and his words almost didn't come out due to extreme panic as he hurriedly walked, he collided forcefully with Nadir and Marwan. Nadir held him and asked, "Are you okay?"
As soon as Rayan raised his head, Nadir and Marwan, who recognized him, both asked in concern, "Are you okay?" while Nadir gently held him by the shoulders, Rayan was terrified, then he began to speak, saying,
"My sister... my sis has been transferred here. I don't know her condition. Help me find her, please," crying in fear of the unknown. Nadir froze in place, also frightened, then quickly asked Marwan to calm Rayan down before heading to the reception to inquire about Hana's whereabouts, saying, "Hello, a woman named Hana was transferred here a while ago. Can you tell me where she is and how she's doing?"
As the receptionist searched for Hana's name, as if she appeared out of nowhere, Hana stood beside Nadir, asking politely, "Hello, my colleague was transferred here. I would like to help her log in. Can you please assist me with that?."
As soon as the words came out of her mouth, Nadir knew it was her and quickly turned to her, holding her gently, staring at her and searching, asking, "Are you okay? Where were you injured?" with concern written all over his face. Meanwhile, Hana stood puzzled, wondering, "What's going on?" until Rayan rushed to hug her, crying heavily and repeating, "My sister." Hana, who was staring at them in surprise, then at Marwan, who also approached with a barely concealed smile, realizing it was a misunderstanding.
Hana held Rayan by his shoulders, saying, "What's wrong? Are you okay? Why are you crying?"
Rayan stood in front of her, wiping his tears, saying, "I called you, but someone said you were transferred to the hospital," as Hana chuckled gently, wiping his forehead, saying, "Are you scared now?" Then she held him gently, saying, "My colleague was the one who was transferred because it's her due date, so I came with her,"
then smiled and said, "But I'm not okay, my wrist was bitten," pointing to her hand filled with scratches because of her colleague.
Nadir took her hand and turned it to see the extent of the injury, while Hana still looked puzzled by their behavior and exchanged glances with Marwan, who also didn't seem to know the reason for his change.
Nadir spoke up, saying, "Let's clean the wound so it doesn't get infected,"
then held her hand, heading towards the emergency room until Hana's name was heard echoing in the hallways.
As Hana turned around, she found her colleague from work who came with her belongings, approaching.
Hana gestured to him, and he also approached, a tall, handsome man with cold, pale features, black hair, and wearing a black formal suit.
Could a past filled with misunderstandings between Hana and Nadir lead to a love story?"Let's take a look at our main characters and meet them in person."
