2nd Prince’s Palace
"Your Highness, the apothecary scheduled for his interview today is here."
With the success of Benny’s Fast-food, I've decided to shift my focus to hygiene care, a concept my brother, the Crown Prince, initially wanted to pursue. The business plan and necessary ingredients are well-organized, but there are still gaps. That’s why I asked Esteban to post a hiring notice for apothecaries.
In this era, pharmaceutical scientists don’t exist yet, and knowledge about medicine is limited. While I have a Doctor of Medicine degree and understand medicines, I don't actually produce them. That’s the job of a pharmaceutical scientist or a chemical engineer.
"Let him in."
I’m skeptical about accepting him since he’s from House Honesto, and I know what they’re plotting. However, he sent samples of his potions and ointments. I tested his mana-boosting and healing potions, and they are far more effective than the useless herbal medicines available in the Empire.
"Greetings, Your Highness the 2nd Prince. I’m Marco Coraje Honesto, applying for the position of one of your pharmaceutical scientists."
He used the term "pharmaceutical scientist," which is unknown in this world. I knew it—this person is from the same world as I am. But I'll tease him.
"What is that word you used? It seems difficult to pronounce."
"Oh, I’m sorry, Your Highness. The words got jumbled in my head. I meant, apothecary."
This sly fox.
"Yes, I’m looking for an apothecary for an upcoming business."
"Is this skincare, perhaps, Your Highness? Or maybe shampoo and body wash?" He smiled as if he knew something.
"Drop the act, you sly fox."
"To be honest, when you named your business Benny’s Fast-food, I already knew who you were. It’s nice to see you again, Captain Gemini."
"Taurus."
I smirked, feeling the thrill of what lay ahead. This partnership was going to shake things up in ways no one could predict.
