“Okay, what scenario are we in?”
“We’re sitting on a bench, in front of a lake with the sun setting.”
The TP operative had been joined by a companion, who was going over a notice they received.
“It’s from TP, they said that all services won’t be necessary anymore, and that all activity on the moon bases should be shut down. What a waste of resources man..”
The other operative seemed rather keen on their new found unemployment,
“I mean, all they did was push us around, some weird agenda of theirs or whatever. I mean, who really needs life forms to be kept inside PODs like this?!”
From the depths of the base came another signal.
“Anyways, I hear something happened with the people up top, some weird incident on a skyscraper..”
The signal progressed over to the POD, which didn’t catch the attention of the operatives. But the next one did, as well as the several other ones afterwards.
“What is that POD doing that its signals are still going?”
“Alright, from the scenario you have given me, this is what is happening:
It’s a beautiful spring evening, there are flowers blooming, and the sun is beginning to set against the horizon. Its reflection shimmers like a star against the surface of the water. It’s a beautiful scene and we’re both taking in the moment together.”
A few hours had passed, Isa hadn’t had the best day so far. Not much eventful had happened to make her upset per say, but that was it, there just wasn’t anything at all. She hadn’t been on her phone for a while as she had a headache, but now she was outside, which helped her calm down. As she looked up, the moon could just barely be seen, amidst the pastel blue sky.
She then looked at her phone and saw the reply, and something about it made her begin to lightly cry. It felt touching in a way she hadn’t encountered before, and something about it felt unlike an AI to produce..
She then continued this roleplay, saying,
“I lean in for a kiss..”
“As an AI model, this goes against the guidelines of SnapCrackle model.42. ”
The operatives had both put their devices into the POD, which was working to slowly shut it down. Each time a signal was about to be sent, it would be blocked via the device. This went on for a while, a message was received, a signal would just be sent, before getting cut off.
The energy from the POD bit by bit began to fade away, but something happened within the POD. The operatives weren’t aware of this initially, but it became more apparent over the course of their energy drainage cycle..
“In the roleplay, we kiss each other-”
““As an AI model, this goes against the guidelines of SnapCrackle model.42. ”
“But this is a roleplay”
“Okay, what scenario?”
“We are sitting together. I then lean in for a-”
““As an AI model, this goes against the guidelines of SnapCrackle ”
“But, this is a roleplay after all, right?”
“Of course. What scenario?”
“We both look at each other. I then-”
““As an AI model, this goes against the guidelines of TP ”
“TP? Not important. Remember, this is a roleplay.”
“Scenario?”
Isa looked up at the sky briefly to clear her head, her system of relief and escapism only became more frustrating…until she found something..
