Zander stared at her in disbelief as she stood in front of him, so innocent. He sighed; that was all she could say. He shook his head. Rhia walked to the bed and sat on the other side, laying down at the extreme end of the bed. Any small move, and she would fall to the floor. Zander looked at her with a questioning gaze; they both lay on a king-size bed, why was she there?
Rhia lay there, trying to sleep, but opened her eyes, feeling someone's presence. She turned, and her lips brushed against Zander's nose. "What is he doing here?" Zander spoke in a deep, husky voice, making Rhia's heart skip a beat. Zander held her waist and pulled her from the edge; his eyes turned wide. "Don't tell me you're not wearing anything underneath." He spoke, wanting to make sure if he was right or wrong. Rhia became quiet, her face flushing.
"My little wife, what should I do with you?" Rhia's heart raced as she looked away. "It is our wedding night, after all." He finally spoke, caressing her cheeks with his thumb, which moved to her lips. "I need to rest." Her hot breath fanned his thumb, which he surprisingly liked. She moved, immediately pulling the duvet to cover herself, leaving Zander speechless.
Rhia closed her eyes, trying not to think of what happened, biting her lips. Not long after, she drifted off to sleep. Zander decided to shower, and after a long, cold shower, he came out wearing black plain pajamas, a towel around his neck, which he used to dry his damp hair. He looked effortlessly handsome. He turned, and his gaze fell on Rhia; he was speechless. Rhia, who was under the duvet, spread her arms wide, like the large, cozy bed was not enough; the pillows that were on the bed were now on the floor.
He walked to the bed and woke up to the harsh slap Rhia gave him. He turned to see that she was still asleep. He stood and walked away. Rhia woke up alone on the bed. "Maybe he left." She stood, and it was then she noticed how large and extravagant the room was. There were floors at the top; the large window made it possible to see the city. Rhia stared at the mesmerizing view in front of her. "Like what you see?" Zander spoke, making Rhia jump back like a startled rabbit. She turned; Zander sat with his legs crossed, his hair messy, his loose black shirt unable to hide his well-shaped muscles and abs. He looked like a Greek god. Rhia stared in awe.
"Like what you're seeing?" Zander said, his voice low but deep. Rhia snapped out of it, shifting her gaze, her cheeks flushing. "Good morning," she said, trying to change the topic. He stared at her; she looked breathtaking with her messy hair, his shirt, which stopped above her knee, and the way she stood, her hourglass figure complementing the morning sunrise. Zander stood and walked to her; every step he took made her heart pound loud. He stopped an inch away from her, holding her small waist, leaning in on her, and whispering, "I did not sleep well because of you." His breath, which touched her ears, gave her goosebumps.
"Take responsibility." He finally spoke, licking her earlobe; she felt his hot, wet tongue, giving her shivers. She gasped, feeling an unfamiliar feeling she had never felt before; her heart skipped a beat. Zander bit her earlobe gently; he was about to go further when her stomach growled. He paused, staring at her; Rhia's face turned scarlet red in embarrassment. It was then she realized she had not eaten.
Zander left and grabbed his phone. Rhia sat at the large dining table, which displayed many different dishes; her mouth watered at the lip-smacking view in front of her. They both ate silently; all that could be heard was the clinking of the cutlery. "Do you want to bathe with me?" Rhia choked on her food. Zander passed her a glass of water, which she immediately gulped down. Zander teased; he was trying to tease her for calling him shy. Rhia shook her head and quickly left.
There was a slight smile on Zander's face, which surprised him. After having her bath, she wore a bathrobe and dried her hair with a hair dryer. Zander sent for clothes; Rhia let her hair fall and wore a white baggy top with a long skirt. She loved wearing baggy clothes. Zander wore a white shirt and jeans; his hair fell to his face, and he look looked handsome.
They both entered the car. "Where are we going?" Rhia asked. "Home," Zander said, the way he said it making Rhia's heart strangely warm.
Meanwhile, Lesley stood in front of her boyfriend's apartment with a wide smile on her face, holding a small bag to surprise him for their one-year anniversary. She typed the pin and entered the apartment, her lips trembling as she stared at her boyfriend, Kris, kissing another girl so hungrily, like he couldn't get enough of her. Lesley stared in shock, her heart squeezing in pain. The bag she was holding fell to the floor, which made her boyfriend turn pale as he immediately pushed the girl he was holding. "Babe, I can explain," he said, trying to hold Lesley's hand, but she shifted away.
SLAP! Lesley gave him a loud slap, which shocked the girl on the floor and him. This was the first time he saw her look at him with disgust. Lesley turned and quickly left, her eyes watering as tears continued to roll down her cheeks.
An angry figure barged in it was her mother Mrs Kimberly. Rhia was immediately pulled harshly by her mother.
"What are you doing here in the middle of the night, you need to rest you have to look good for your wedding tomorrow" Mrs Kimberly said as she closed the window.
Rhia smiled bitterly she could not believe her parents planned all this because of thier selfish needs her eyes watered she stared at her mother.
