"W-Where am I? Am I, dead?" Leah thought to herself while waking up in a small, grey room.
As she looked around, there was someone with their back towards her, so she got up quietly to sneak off.
When she opened the door, everyone was looking at her which scared her, causing her to shake in fear. She was too weak to run or even walk by herself, causing her to have to hold on to the wall.
"Look, she's awake." Someone said.
You could tell they were all from the gang by the snake tattoo on their shoulders and back.
"You woke up faster than expected, being shot in the back" Francis said walking towards her.
Leah being afraid looked around and saw another knife on the ground so she picked it up and faced it towards him, with her legs shaking from weakness and fear.
"You don't say much, do ya? How's your back?"
The person from the room Leah was in said, "well, it's almost completely healed, but it will scar."
Leah touched her back thinking about everything that happened.
"When you completely heal, we will teach you some defense." Francis said smirking.
"You're going to keep that rat after what she did to me?!" The advisor said while limping in the room with a cast around his leg.
