The sun has fallen and brings the darkness of the night out. The moon illuminates the sky as the only source of light. The streets, empty as every corner is a mystery to anyone. Walking through one of these streets is a young lady in her early twenties. Not having in mind the future that will be upon her, she walks the streets with no worries. “It’s very chilly tonight. I hope I can make it to the house in time to see him,” the young lady says to herself. Yes indeed she was right, the night was very chilly as fall already started and winter was just around the corner. Soon enough the young lady arrived at her house. “I’m glad I'm home,” she says enthusiastically. She enters the house with a smile on her face, not waiting another second to see “him”, the person she has been waiting to see all day long. The young lady looked around the house but did not have any luck in finding him. She was very upset. She wondered where he could be. Her thoughts were stopped as she heard noises come from upstairs. “That's where he is. He always plays these hiding games on me,” she says as she heads upstairs to see him. She stops in front of the door where she heard the noise from. As she was about to open the door, she heard something that shattered her heart into millions of pieces. “When are you going to leave her? You told me you would leave her and yet you're still with her,” a female voice said from the room. “Give it time, I’m going to bring it up to her, don't worry. She’s been working more often now so I haven't had time to talk to her face to face about things,” says the man the young lady was so eager to see. This hurt her so much. The fact that the person she loved so dearly would do such a thing to her, it broke her. She was thinking of just hearing the whole conversation but in reality she didn’t want to. She wanted to be strong, brave, and independent and that was what she was going to do. She didn't think twice and stormed into the room with all the courage she had. This made both the man she loved so dearly and the unknown women jump in the sudden intrusion. Their faces changed as they saw who intruded into the room. “A-aura?..h-how long have you been here?” Aura looked at him, “long enough to know that you're not worth my time or effort. Here is an idea, how about we break up like you said to this gold digger and never cross pathways ever again. This sounds like a reasonable trade Blake, don't you think?” Blake looked surprised by the words that came out of Aura’s mouth. Never in a million years would he think that she would say that to him. “W-wait what?” “Did you not hear me the first time, we are over. My things will be out of this house by tomorrow in the afternoon and don't worry, I will leave you with the bills paid for this month, after that, you're on your own. I will not be in any contact with you or the people you associate with and do me a favor, don't ever try to talk to me or any of my friends again. The only thing I request from you right now is to leave the house for a day and let me get my things packed to leave.” Blake looked shocked at the words coming from Aura. “Do you need me to repeat it once more?,” Aura says as she looks Blake in the eyes. “No no no, I understand. I will do the request you have asked of me. Let me just get a couple things and I will head out,” Blake says as he goes into his room. The unknown lady is still deeply staring at Aura. “Do you have a problem with me or something because you shouldn't have any as I never did anything to you. I don't know you and you have never had a conversation with me until now so what is your problem?” “I don't know but maybe the fact that you are trying to take all the attention away. If only you and him broke up sooner, this house would be all mine with him by my side,” she says as her face looks like she achieved something. “First of all, I don't need any attention from anyone, especially from you. Second, you can have this house. I wonder how long you will last in paying the bills here and last but not least, stay in your place as it's business between me and him. You aren't in the picture of Blake and my conversation. You're just the side character of the conversation so calm your female genitals,” Aura says annoyed at the lady. Blake came out of his room with a couple things. “I'm ready, let's go Claire,” he says as he starts to leave. “Here take this, find a hotel and stay there for the meantime. Relax and enjoy it for the whole day tomorrow,” Aura says, giving Blake a thousand dollars like it was nothing. “What?,” Blake says looking at the money that was handed to him. “Just go, I'm not asking for money back. I'm not like that plus it's for the time you made me waste for any hope of whatever we were. Now go,” Aura says with a cold expression. “O-ok,” Blake says as he grabs Claire’s hand and zooms out the door. Yes Aura has just given her cheating ex boyfriend one thousand dollars like it's nothing. As soon as they left, she went on her phone and started to order boxes and emailed her crew to clean her apartment. She started to clean out many of her belongings. During that time, all she could think about was her relationship with Blake. Where did she go wrong? Why did it end the way it did? It was supposed to be destiny, fate, light, a beautiful blossoming garden but nothing is what it seems. The world is a nasty place with disgusting people that only follow their desires, not caring about others. At the same time, to imagine the warmth of a loved one is lovely. Aura then remembered a memory she had with someone, not with Blake but a long ago crush she had. She remembers running in the sand while hearing the sound of waves crashing in the ocean. It was wonderful, the shore being very beautiful with the best sunset in a while. The conversation with a friend that was a crush and loving every moment of it was like a dream. The urge to reach the river’s he opened for her and the ships that sailed the ocean. It was all amazing. Compared to how Blake treated Aura, it was very different. The relationship that she and Blake had was like smoke was coming from every direction, the loneliness of not having anyone around, the ruined nights when it was supposed to be happy, the cruel attitude to her, even the thorns that stayed bruising her deep inside. Afraid to say the wrong things and the mysterious behaviors, everything was a red flag. The mask Aura had all the time was a work of art, some may say it was good or even hiding who she truly is. Aura stops her thoughts to give time to pack. Aura wanted to show Blake that she won't be scared of the past and the shadows he left between their relationship. After a while, Aura fell asleep leaving everything where it was. Soon enough morning would come and the light from the sun shined the room bright. The light from the sun hits Aura’s face, making her shrug her eyes. “Hmmm,” Aura says while moving around the bed. “Wake up Auraaaaaa,” she says as she gets up from the bed. She noticed it was raining outside and the light she saw was from her dream. After taking a shower, she continues with the work she left off at. The rain outside complimented her mood. She was close to finishing everything as she heard the doorbell ring. “Please don't be him with her uuhhhhh,” Aura said while going to the door. When she opened the door she saw her crew and felt relieved that it was them and not anyone else. “Oh it's you guys, come in. I'm almost done with my things. Everything in a closed box can be taken away to the truck,” Aura says as she heads upstairs with her crew. “Hey Aura, this is the place you were talking about?,” one of her crew asked her. “Yes it is Lia, A place I won't stay at anymore,” Aura says as she is grabbing a pillow and placing it in a box. “Oh sorry,” Lia says as she looks down. “No no it's fine Lia, I just rather finish everything and talk about it at a different time,” Aura says as she continues to put important things in the boxes. Lia helps Aura with her things while the rest of the crew is taking boxes to the truck. “So you guys had separate rooms?,” Lia says while grabbing perfume from the walking closet. “Yeah it was best as it accommodated us very well as we both have different working schedules. I mean a lot changed between me and him and our home styles,” Aura says as she is folding clothes. “Hey do you think the meeting you have later on will be beneficial for the company,” Lia says as she finishes with the walk in closet. “I hope so. It's a big meeting that must be precise, well everyone giving effort for the company. It will get the company closer to the goal we want to accomplish,” Aura says as she is almost done folding her clothes. “Well what's one thing you hope goes right at the meeting,” Lia says as she helps Aura fold the rest of the clothes that are left. “Hmm I hope that we can convince them that we together can save others when they are in a tight situation and that it will be beneficial to many,” she says as she finishes. “Yeah that but don't you think others will hate the idea?,” Lia says as she grabs one of the boxes. “I mean yeah there are some that will hate the idea and there are others that will trust the idea and think it's a way of helping others. We just have to hope for the best. Now let's go, I do not want to be here when they arrive,” Aura says. Lia nods as they both head out the room with boxes. After about a half an hour, the team finally got everything in the truck. “Alrighty we are all done. Lia I would like for you to go with the team to this place to unpack while I finish up one last thing here. Is that alright with you?,” Aura says to Lia while handing her a piece of paper. Lia nodded and left afterwards. Once the team left, Aura went upstairs to Blake’s room to do one last thing. After she did that one thing, she left, left for good.
Some hours later.
“Oh no, where is it? I don't want to be late. Where, where, where is it? C’mon I only have 30 minutes left. Where is my shirt?.....There you are..wrinkled. Uuuuuhhh man I barely have time...I’ll just do it quickly.” A very busy and noisy afternoon as Aura is preparing for an important meeting. “Ok ok ok im done, just breathe and leave as quickly as possible,” Aura says as she gets her files and keys. She walks out the door and heads to her car as quickly as possible. She only has 20 minutes left and the drive to the office is about 25 minutes. She is expecting not to make it in time so she calls Lia to inform her. “Hello?” “Lia it's me Aura. I’m running a little late, lead the business partners in the meeting room and please try to distract them while I arrive at the office,” Aura says as she focuses on the road to try to get to the office in time. “Yeah of course, I got it. Just focus on getting to the office and don't stress too much. I can hear it in your voice,” Lia says on the phone. “ Okay thanks, gotta go, bye,” Aura says on the phone. “Alright bye bye,” Lia says before hanging up. Usually Aura is early for her meetings but with everything that she has been having to do from yesterday night till today, it's been very stressful on her plus the meeting she has to demonstrate to the future business partners..maybe. She is hoping everything turns out good, not amazing but decent enough for the first meeting these two companies are going to have. “Hm no, I can't be in traffic now. If I go straight I will definitely be stuck for more than an hour, damn...Ima just turn here. It takes a while but it's better than going into the traffic jam,” Aura says as she turns to her left. She only has about 8-9 minutes left until the meeting is supposed to start and she is still not that close to the office. While Aura is having a crisis on the road, Lia is having a crisis on how she is going to distract the business people from the other company. She gathers the staff members. “Okay here is a recap on what's going on. Boss nim is not here yet. She is stuck in some traffic and is running late. Our job at this moment is to distract the new business partners we can acquire if the meeting goes lovely. Now I don't know what we can do either but we will think of it along the way. First I need Zee, Kai, Andrea, Sora, and Leala to bring them for a drink and hospitality to calm them down. This will make them think they are having a small break before going into the meeting. The time will feel shorter than it is. This will give Boss nim some time to get here. Now everyone else, if they try to go into the meeting room, direct them to the lounge as the meeting room is getting a quick clean and the cleaning squad will pretend to clean it but if you want to clean the meeting room, you can but remember Boss nim and how she likes it clean. Alright let's go,” Lia says as they initiate the plan. “I hope I get there in time, I need to get there in time,” Aura says as she is getting through small traffic jams. Half of the work team heads down to greet the business partners. “Hello my name is Lia and I will be one of your guides for the company today,” she says while bowing at them. “It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Max,” says a nice looking man who also bowed to the group. “Well then we will guide you to the lounge to have a snack or a drink before the meeting begins. This way,” Lia says as she starts to walk while everyone else is following her. Lia gets them all into the lounge area. “I feel relieved, we are doing it. This is going as planned. I just hope Boss nim gets here in time,” Lia says as she shrugs a little.
