*ELOWEN*

It's already morning, and it's the third day since we were rescued from the river. I head towards the house where my brother was sleeping, and upon seeing him moving, I notice his hair, the white color spreading. I panic and start calling out to him, "Brother, Brother!, BROTHER!" As he wakes up and sits up, I rush to hug him.

"Brother, you're awake," I say, tears streaming down my face. He grabs me and examines me, "Wen, are you okay? Does anything hurt?" he looks at me with concern. "I'm okay, the people from the village took care of me and gave me food", I say, trying to calm him down.

Gregor, the man who saved us from the river, enters. My brother and I thank him for saving us, and he brings a change of clothes for Therius. When Therius gets up and puts his left foot on the floor, he seems to wince in pain. Unable to assist him, Gregor helps, "I'll help you change your shirt", Gregor says to my brother, and he simply accepts, while I wait outside.

"Come on, let's go have breakfast," Gregor says as he assists my brother, who couldn't walk properly. We enter Lora's house and see the other man who saved us, Damian, who was at Lora's house. Then Tiara arrives and greets me, "Oh Elowen, there you are", "Hi Tiara," I reply to her greeting.

My brother looks confused, then Lora enters, "Hello young man, I'm glad you're okay. Your sister was worried that you wouldn't wake up again, from what she says," Therius looks at her, and she remembers something, "Oh, that's right, let me introduce myself, I'm Lora, and I'm Tiara's mother.

When they came to save you, I was taking care of your sister until she woke up," she says with a smile, "once again, thank you very much, Miss Lora, for taking care of my sister while I was asleep," Therius says with a smile.

Then we see Tiara approaching Therius and saying, "Mom, mom, Elowen's brother's hair looks weird," her mom scolds her, but Therius says it's okay. Therius explains to Lora about the inheritance of our parents in him, then Lora asks if it was only the neighboring color and rose from my mother, which was the white hair she had.

He looks at her and says, "I don't even know, so I can't answer," says Therius, "don't worry, let me introduce you to another of my daughters who apparently is your age and I took care of you for a while, EVAN, come here."

After introducing themselves and thanking us, we have breakfast. Therius mentions how long we've been here, so they tell him that they didn't ask me anything until he woke up, so he stays calm. Then he asked if there was a place where he could meditate and heal from his minor injuries, and Lora offered him a bath, which he accepted, and I waited and followed him after he came out of the bath, and we went to the area where we could meditate. Since I didn't do it frequently, this time I decided to accompany him and stayed meditating beside him, apparently for hours.

Then Therius gets up and starts kicking the air, but he winces in pain and then grabs his arm. Then the village chief Jafet arrives, congratulating him on his movements, then thanks him for letting us stay while we slept, "I'm glad you're okay, I was worried when I saw you very injured in bed, come, the healer wants to see you," says the chief, and I take my brother's hand, and we go to the healer's.

"Young Emwind, I'm glad to see that you're okay, come, sit down, let me see your arm, since I see that your leg is better", the healer congratulates me, "hello, sir, and thank you again", Therius says to the healer, after examining my arm, "well, young man, as I can see, you were meditating, and I suppose your sister was doing her best to heal your arm," the healer looks at me, and I blush at the compliment.

The healer tells my brother that he can fully recover in 4 or 5 days while he meditates and the healer heals him, then Therius tells the chief, "if there's anything I or Elowen can help with, please let us know", "of course, I'll be waiting".

We return to his room, and I fall asleep in his arms while he meditates. I feel him adjust me in bed so that he can lie down too. Morning comes, and I wake him up, "Brother, it's morning, wake up", "I'm coming, Wen, calm down", he responds with a wince of pain from his arm as we head to where we were indicated to go and find Lora, Tiara, and Evan there. "Good morning, children, come in, this is my house, and today I'll take care of you", says Lora as she serves breakfast.

"Thank you, Miss Lora, for breakfast", I say along with Therius, as we eat, we take our time and chat. Therius asks about how life is around here, then after finishing breakfast, Therius and I say we'll wash the dishes, although they opposed due to my brother's condition, but we still managed to win, although Evan stays to help us.

As we were about to finish, my brother drops a plate and hits his arm hard. Seeing him do that alarms me because it's not like him, "Therius, are you okay?" Evan asks my brother, he responds: "Yes, sorry for that, it's just that...", one of those who rescued us came running to Lora's house.

"It's a Monster Wave, coming from the west, you need to take shelter at the chief's house," I feel my blood run cold as my brother grabs my arm, "Elowen, go with Evan and Damian and the others, they'll take care of you," he says quickly, "What?, brother no, you're injured, you'll hurt yourself again like last time when you fell asleep for a long time", I say, scared and teary-eyed.

"I know, Wen, but I can help, but I can't if you're not sure," he says as he hugs me, "What?, no, you also stay with us, Therius", Lora stops him, "it's dangerous whether you can fight or not, you're still injured, and Elowen needs you by her side", with a hesitant tone, Lora finally convinces him, along with my scared face and the others.

"Okay, let's go", he finally says. After arriving at the chief's house, Damian starts giving instructions. I could see that Therius wasn't afraid, but he looked nervous while holding me in his arms. The sound of the approaching wave of monsters could be felt. After two hours, the roars, growls, and cries of the beasts could still be heard.

Then Damian appears at the door "prepare for an evacuation towards the bridge, a superior Fenrir is leading them, and they're more than hundreds", upon hearing that, Therius quickly grabs my arm and lifts Evan, Tiara, and Lora, "everyone up, we need to move, women grab the smaller children, men who stayed inside help the elderly, children don't stray from your parents or an adult, we need to go now", he shouts at the top of his lungs, giving instructions.

Everyone seemed confused since he was still a child, but Jafet arrived and shouted, "did you hear the kid, move!" after shouting it, everyone started doing what he had ordered earlier. Therius still held me in his arms, trembling in fear. It was possible to hear the moans of the pile of monsters approaching. As we moved away, I could see Therius's face. Something told me he was about to do something stupid. I felt his mana-enhanced speed decrease to keep us moving and me in his arms. "Damian, I need you to take care of my sister, I'm going to help", I could see Damian pale, and Evan, his sister, and mother turned to look at him, even the healer mage intervened, "you can't go, brother, you'll get hurt, you said you'd stay with me, you wouldn't go fight", I scold him, it almost seemed like a plea.

Even the other 5 people told him the same thing, "You can't fight, young man, your arm still hasn't healed," the healer tells him, "besides, you're a child, I can't let you go back, Jafet will kill me if he knows I let you return," Damian could reproach him, "I'm sorry, but I can't, I'll go, period, after all, I'm not just a kid who knows how to use magic, I can also fight very well," he said with a lot of stupid determination, even making Damian scared.

"You can't, Ther, please, that way we won't be able to go back to mom and dad together," I give him a warm kiss on the forehead that lasted a few seconds and made me let go and hand me over to Damian, "I'm sorry, my girl, but it's not up for discussion, besides, reinforcements are already coming, and I'll just provide support until they arrive," Evan and the others just watched him as they walked away.

I tell him some last words, "You must come back, Therius, we have to return together." I say with a call, then I see him pull out his weapon and whisper something to it, and it starts to glow slightly white like his white streak of hair, then it disappears.
