During the day the twins are working at their part time job at the local cafe called the  Jumpstart, while the normal morning goes Alex and Killian meet up to go to the cafe before they leave for work. Taking a seat at the table they normally sit at, they wait for one of the waitresses. Danni comes over, who is their waiter.

Danni - “You two come here often don’t you? My sister and I see you two a lot. Anyways what would you two like? Your usual? Two coffees and a croissante?”

Alex - “Yes, we do come here often. And make two croissants today. One for my bitter friend.” 

Killian- “ I don’t want it.” 

Danni- “ Ok, I’ll bring your order in a few short minutes.”   

Heading back to the kitchen, Nikki walks over to where they two sit, holding two plates with a slice of cheesecake.

Nikki- “ Here you two go, on the house to my favorite people!”

Alex- “ Thank you.You and your sister are ever so kind.”

Killian-  “ thanks..”  

Sliding his plate over to Alex who has already begun to eat his. Danni walks back to the table with their order.

Danni- “ I brought you two croissants and two black coffees.”

Thanking Danni, she goes back to take more orders, as some time skips they both leave, Killian leaving a ten dollar tip as usual.

Alex- “ Good day our two friends.” 

Nikki- “ Bye friends!” 

The next day, the twins clock-in around late nine in the morning, after a few short hours Alex and Killian walk in. Alex spots the blonde twin, and waves at her smiling.

Nikki-” Good morning my fellow companions, my only friends!”

Alex- “ Now isn’t this lovely, we’ve made new friends.”

Killian stays silent watching Danni come up behind Nikki bonking her on the back of the head with a serving tray.

Nikki-” OW!”

Danni-” Boom Headshot!”

Alex-” Hello our other bestie.”

Seeing the two men in front of her, Danni's face turns red with embarrassment as her eyes change to an orchid color. Glancing down Killian huffs as he mumbles under his breath, whilst noticing Danni’s eyes have changed color, again...

Killian-” you two are embarrassing us both…..” 

Danni-”I’m a nice person I swear.”

Nikki- “ Let me seat you two then.” 

Sitting at their usual table Alex and Killian are met with Danni who holds a pen and notebook.

Danni-” The usual?” 

Alex-“ Yes, please.”

Danni writes down the order and leaves to the kitchen, after they get their order some time passes and then they get up and leave. Placing down their normal tip under a salt shaker, Nikki hurries and walks up to them.

Nikki-” Hold on you two.”

Alex-” What is it?”

Nikki-” My sister and I were thinking maybe we four could meet up and hang out?”

Surprised by the twins' offering, Alex and Killian look at each other, as in response to the twins Alex smiles while Killian shrugs.

Alex- “ Of course, we would love to.”

Killian- “ sure, just tell the info.”

Nikki-``Let me give you two of our numbers.”

Exchanging numbers the four part ways for the rest of the day, quickly the day goes by. Near noon one of the twins texts  one of the  guy's the  date and place. 

<The national park mountain site near close to the countryside around 10:00 in the morning.>

Waiting outside the mountain entrance Danni and Nikki stand quietly. Danni reads on her phone while Nikki is passing to keep awake.

Nikki-” How long have we been waiting?”

Danni shrugs, continuing to read, as in the distance both Alex and Killian walk up to the twins who were waiting.

Alex-” Hello friends!”

Killian-” Alex took awhile.. “

Alex-” You can’t time perfection, Killian.”

Killian- “ were you two waiting long?”

Nikki-” 500,250,600 minutes!....She did it.”

Pointing to Danni who shoots up, in response to hearing Alex gasps in awe.

Alex- “ RENT!!”

Killian-”.... here goes. now he won’t shut up..” 

Danni- “ I’m a theater fanatic , don’t judge.” 

Alex-“ You love the art of theater too?! We should chat about it.”

Danni-``Sure?..” 

Nikki- “ So.. what do you all want to do today?”

Killian-” doesn’t matter.”

Alex-” You two ladies can choose.”

Danni-” I don’t mind where.”

Nikki-” What about a nature hike?”

Killian-” ..k..”

Alex-” Oooh a hike sounds wonderful.”

Ignoring the broken sigh of “ No trespassing” the four start to walk towards the hiking area, beginning their hike. Yet Killian can’t help but feel uneasy only to push it away until later.

Danni-” So...what are your interests or hobbies?

Alex-” Theater of course.”

Killian- “.......cannibalism…” 

Mumbling under his breath just enough for the twins not to hear, Alex nudges Killian with a look of “don’t say that.”

Danni-” What?”

Killian gives Alex a smirk, only to lose it quickly seeing the twins.

Killian-” nothing..”

Danni-” What about fighting video games?” 

Killian-” last time I played a game.... I broke it.”

Awkward Silence looms above.. having Nikki to break the ice, turning to slow her pace for them.

Nikki-” Danni plays those games, helps her anger problems.”

Alex- “ I know someone who is in need of that.” 

Killian huffs at Alex who smiles within a smirk.

Danni- “ What game did you play?”

Killian-” um…...think it was street fighter.”

Danni-” You could try a newer game like Injustice.”

Alex-” Pardon my question, but i’ve never played video games, are they fun?”

Danni gives off a glare at Alex for such an irregular question.

Danni- “ Therapy for rage.”

Nikki-” Not all video games, like rpg horror games.”

Danni-” Those are fun.”

Alex-” Well it seems like we’re all getting to know each other pretty well.” 

Danni-” What plays or Musicals have you seen or been part of?”

Killian-”... oh no…” 

Alex- “ Oh most definitely, I can list all of the plays I’ve seen and acted in.”

Danni-” Cool, do the ones you’ve acted in first.”

Alex- “ Well let’s see there have been so many I’ve played in I could nearly forget, I’ll just tell you five. There was my first ever musical ‘The Black Crook’, Phantom of the Opera , some early one’s Dear Evan Hanson,  Moulin Rouge, and of course Rent.”

Nikki-“ That’s Danni’s Favorite and first musical.”

Killian- “ I saw a musical once.”

Danni- “ Which one?”

Killian- “ …..um.. think it was called Heathers.” 

Nikki- “ Danni has an audition for that one!”

Smacking Nikki on the shoulder for speaking out with her secret, Alex smiles with excitement at the news, nearly jumping up and down, while Killian turns his gaze elsewhere.

Danni- “ They’re not supposed to know that..”

Alex walks to Danni, putting an arm around her. Making Danni rather uncomfortable….

Alex- “ So it appears you like to act?”

Danni-” So… why?” 

Alex- “ As an actor with long experience, I could help you with your audition.”

Danni - “ Thanks , but I’m just working on the singing parts .”

Alex-” I could help you with that too!”

Killian- “ If she doesn't want help then don’t pester her.”

Danni-” I don’t mind the help , I’m just not used to it.”

Nikki- “ I think you have the singing down already, since we’ve sung as kids.”

Continuing to talk and walk up the mountain, Killian starts to notice something off and starts to sense something disgustingly unsettling. Feeling the same uneasy sense again, coming closer.
