I  hung up the phone with Jason and Immediately called Sam and Ella. 

Sam joins first he looks like he just woke up, “Hazel? It's so early..” He rubs his eyes groggily. 

The call dings as Ella joins the call. “Hey guys what's up?” She asks, as she curls her hair.

“So remember how you both suggested I download Cupid?”

“Yea?” Ella says, raising an eyebrow.

“Well I matched with someone last night and we just slept on the phone together!”

“Omg, what?!” Sam jumps up. “You guys spent the whole night talking?!”

“Yes! His name's Jason. He’s only here for winter break though, he’s visiting his grandparents.”

“That means you don’t have much time. You have to ask him out on a date!” Ella exclaims.

“No wait, what if he just wants a fling? I mean he’s only there for Winter break, maybe you should weigh out your options first and talk to a few other people on Cupid.” Sam says.

“He wouldn't wanna call during their first conversation if that was the case.” Ella sets down the curling iron and brings the phone closer to her face.

“You never know, guys will do a lot for” I cut Sam off before he went into graphic detail. “I like him, he’s an interesting guy to me. I haven’t connected with someone so well in a couple of years. I’m gonna ask him out.” 

“Exactly now text him!” Ella yells.

“Now?!” 

“Yes before you lose the momentum!”

“Yeah, she’s right you should ask him out now before he gets busy worrying about Christmas,” Sam adds.

“You too?!” I yell, referring to Sam.

“Do it!” They yell in unison.

“Fine!” I say, reluctantly.

I click off the call and open up Jason's chat.

HAZEL: Hey I was wondering if you’d wanna go on a date?

JASON: Sure, as you know I’m out today so how about tomorrow at noon?

HAZEL: Yeah I’ll pick you up!

I go back to the video call. “What did he say?” Ella asks as my video turns back on. 

“He wants to go out tomorrow!”

“Wow, that was a quick yes.” Sam remarks.

“Oh whatever Sam, you’ve got multiple girls after you at once!” I retorted back “Not much room to feel special there huh?”

“You guys are so immature.” Ella mumbles “Anyways I have to get going but I hope your date goes well Hazel.”
