The two thugs were in shock and their eyes were about to pop out from their place while looking at Futch who felt like something was off and looked to his right to see blood on his armour and then looked to Yory who was near him with his dagger stabbing Futch's chest, the two thugs didn't even see Yory move!

Futch was bleeding badly, he tried to open his mouth with: "I di.... wh....," but in vain Futch was already on the ground in a pool of his blood, there were some noises from him then silence, the other two were shocked and their faces were blue from the fear but Yory was as cold as ever, he looked to them and tried to talk but one of the thugs used fire magic on Yory while the other start running.

Yory held his hand and stopped the fire easily and then stabbed the thug in his neck, the thug held his neck in shock but the bleeding killed him fast, the third thug was running to the second floor to the stairs to reach the first floor and exit but fell to the ground and suddenly he was dragged by some type of magic to Yory who was walking slowly and said: "is this the way you people do it? Use a spell to stay silent then drag the victims while smiling and kill them and take their belongs and call it a day, right?"

The thug was screaming while he was dragged to Yory who said: "didn't you use the spell to cancel your voices to your surroundings, I think that you don't know how to cancel it yourself without your friend so I am the only one who can hear you, my lad, it a bit ironic that you will die the same way you killed those people, right?"

The thug was crying remembering every victim they killed, every innocent they dragged while they were crying for help, every soul that screamed to no one's response, the thug screamed the same scream, dragged like the same victims, crying like them, but the same result for everyone happened to this thug and it is NO ONE CAME TO HELP HIM, and then silence.

In front of the inn, Yory walked out to the street covered in blood, he said: "the prison should be in that direction, three guards are blocking my way, fanny that they think their operation is clean so no one thought about a merchant can fight, they probably consider the traders being tired and exhausted to put a fight, smart but no enough, lads."

Meanwhile, in the prison, Joe was holding the bars and his face was covered in bruises, Joe looked at Aldwin and said: "How is that injury looking, my friend."

Aldwin said while catching the left side of his stomach: "I didn't even hear them, I fight but they stabbed me with a sword, you stopped the bleeding and that is enough, thank you I will survive until the morning before they kill us all."

Joe said with a little laugh: "If we die, I think I must say that I had a good time with you lads, I regret things I did in my life but overall it was nice."

The merchants smiled and Estel said: "Me too, all I wish is that I can go back to Undvik city, my hometown where I was born and raised."

Joe looked to the guard who was watching them and said: "So that way there are no children or old people here, this village is run by lowly thugs like you, right?"

The guard smiled and walked to the place Joe and the merchant lock up in, and faced Joe with a smiling face: "After many disasters from heavy rain to earthquakes to the growing numbers of the wild and magical animals, the original villagers escape this village and when we arrived exhausted and near the death, we were able to find water to drink and animals to eat, what was a curse to them, was a blessing to us."

Joe said with a mocking face: "You were weak and near death but didn't change to be a better person, you are still the same sons of a pestilent reptile-brained...."

Joe's sentence cut off when the guard grabbed his neck through the bars, he was a big man with armour of high quality and probably stole it, he said: "I can break your neck right now and it will not make any mess in the place."

Suddenly! Joe grabbed the guard's arm and pulled it with all his power so the guard's head smashed into the hard iron bars Joe repeated it three more times until the guard fell on his knees then Joe behind the bars started choking him and said in the guard's ear: "if I am gonna die, I will take as many from you as I can to the grave with me, I will not go alone, but YOU, my comrade, you did purchase the first seat with ME!"

Joe was choking the guard behind the prison's bars with his bare arms, the guard was struggling and started punching Joe's arms but to no result, after a moment the guard's body stopped moving and fell to the ground, Joe was panting hard and Avilyn was shocked to what she saw and said while trembles with fear: "as a merchant, death visit us everyday but seeing someone die slowly is new to me."

Aldwin said with a gloomy face: "When I was in the war between Renolva and Arguand kingdom, I saw people die in many different ways, Unfortunately, humans can be very creative for the wrong reasons."

Akibrus said: "If we die today, all I want is to take some of those sons of the scumrag with me to the grave."

Meanwhile, in the street leading to the prison where Joe and the merchants are kept, one guard was struggling while Yory was behind him choking the life out of him, Yory said: "sorry lad, if I cut your throat there will be a lot of blood in the street and it will alarm your friends so..." Yory broke his neck with ease and start dragging the guard's lifeless body to the shadows then opened an empty barrel and but the dead guard inside it, then Yory continued moving in the shadows.

In the prison, another guard but much bigger entered where the prisoners were kept, his eyes widened when he saw his partner on the ground dead and then saw Joe holding the bars and shouted: "YOU WANT US DEAD, BUSTARD, COME HERE SCUMBAG!"

The guard pulled his sword and moved with a furious face to the merchants who were ready for a fight but Estel looked to the entrance and said in shock but was a happy surprise: "HEAVENS."

The guard noticed the merchants looking at something behind him, when he turned around he saw Yory who was very fast for the guard and in a moment he cut the guard's throat, blood flowed and the guard grabbed his neck and fell to the ground, Yory saw the merchants and said: "did you missed me?"

Akibrus responded: "Yes yes, we couldn't live without, you now free us!"

Yory searched for the keys and moments later he opened the door and freed his comrades, in the entrance to the prison Yory signalled to his companions to stay silent, Joe was helping Aldwin to move with his injury, Yory and Akibrus were sneaking in and guarding the way for the others when they reached the only gate of this cursed village, Estel said while looking to the gate: "how are we gonna open it without alerts half the village."

Joe said: "We need a distraction, a big one."

Aldwin said: "There is their oil storage, they use it as an illuminant for medicine, and as grease for wagons and tools and torches, and it will burn faster than a long beard of a fool experimenter."

Aldwin was pointing to a big building holding above him a giant barrel, Yory said: "that will be good, everyone go to your carts and be ready, I will do the distraction and you take the chance and run with your carts and mine too to the gate."

Akibrus said with a serious impression on his face: "Don't die soon lad, you are good company."

Yory said with a little laugh: "I am not gonna die easily, Aldwin!' Aldwin with a sad and sick impression on his face from both abandoning Yory and the injury that slowed him down looked to Yory who continued: "Aldwin my bearded fool, you will return to your family faster than a dwarf losing his temper, now move on."

Joe said: "Later friend, but remember that you need to take me to the capital so don't die."

Yory said with a smile: "who gonna kill me? Those thugs? I will live, now move."

The silence was broken when a wooden arrow hit Avilyn in her left thigh, she fell to the ground screaming and holding the arrow that pierced through her thigh muscle deep and started bleeding badly, Akibrus shouted: "Where!?"

Yory and everyone moved to the corner of the street to hide while Estel used a piece of clothing to cover Avilyn's thigh and hopefully stop the bleeding, Joe said while pointing to the top of the village's gate: "the bustard guard is up there, Yory let's go and...."

Yory interrupted him: "They didn't alarm the guards which means they don't have an alarm system in their post, I have to kill them before they bring their friends and you need to go with everyone, I will take care of it."

Akibrus said: "Let's go! I will help Aldwin, and Estel will help Avilyn, and Joe kill every bustard you find in the way."

Yory and the merchants separated, and the guards on the top of the gate were searching with their eyes where the merchants went, and one of them said: "I told you three moons ago to put some alarms here but you said that we didn't need it."

The other guard responded: "No one enters this village except some merchants here and there and not even that much travelling to this village so putting some alarms felt pointless because we kill everybody after one night soo... where are the two idiots that I sent moments ago, they should start the alarm so our friends come."

The second guard said while scratching his head: "maybe....."

The guard stopped talking and fell from the edge to the ground proof, his head smashed from the impact of the falling and the other guard yelled: "w..ww..... WHAT HAPPENED!?"

The guard was scared and held his bow and said: "w..w... WHO IS THERE!?"

Yory was behind him and said: "you will die too."

The guard was startled and Yory just pushed him to the edge, his leg slides and the guard fell from the edge but held the edge with his hands, scared and in shock, he said crying to Yory: "please, let me live and I will help you escape, please...!"

Yory laughed at what he heard and said: "How can you help me? I never heard about a dead man helping someone."

The guard's eyes widened and started yelling while Yory kicked his head with enough power that made the guard lose his grip and fell with his screams to his demise, he smashed his head with a big impact to the ground and died, Yory said: "now the distraction we seek, that big building with that big wooden barrel of oil is my target."

Where the carts were kept, Joe cut some thug's throat and pushed him away then said to the merchant: "It's clear, to your carts now, Aldwin you can ride your cart, Estel ride your cart with Avilyn, Akibrus your cart, and I will ride Avilyn's cart."

Aldwin got up his cart and said: "what about Yory?"

Joe said: "His horse is well trained, he will follow us."

Meanwhile, Yory was at the top of the gate and said: "time for some festival mood," Yory wiped his hands and a big flame came from his hands and pointed it to the big barrel which was far away and said: "BURN!" 

The flames burst out and Started moving fast to the big oil barrel and BOOM!!! The barrel exploded and the fire covered the building and some houses with him, and the people started screaming and calling for help to put the fire, then Yory said while holding his right hand pointing to the wheels holding the gate: "earth magic: ağırlıq." The wheels rip out from their place and fly to some nearby houses crushing their roofs without the wheels, the gate falls to the ground with loud noises BOOM! Every thug in the village heard it, Joe and everyone saw the fire and started moving to the gate, Yory went down from the top to the ground, and that's when he saw Joe and everyone running in their carts when they saw Yory, smiles were on their faces with their friend alive and well, they kept moving and Yory waited for Boris when his carts were near him Yory jumped and catches his cart and entered it.

The thugs were busy with the fire but one of them shouted: "Our comrades are dead and the prisoners escaped, what are we gonna do!?"

The leader said with anger eating his face: "Free the magic wolves, let them enjoy their food and let the prisoners suffer for killing our brothers."

At the same time, Yory and the rest of the merchants were in their carts, running to save their lives and then Yory sensed something coming their way, Joe looked behind him and his eyes widened and shouted: "Everyone, wolves are chasing us!"

Yory looked behind him and said with a calm voice: "keep moving."

The merchants whipped their horses so they could run faster while Yory left his horse moving on his own and went to his cart to the other side so he could face the wolves and hold his hands.

Akibrus and Joe looked behind them and were shocked when Yory said: "fire magic: alveolar," the flames burst out to the wolves and burned them alive, the wolves started running and rolling over the grass but in vain they were already on the ground, charred bodies from the fire.

Joe and Akibrus were shocked at what they saw, when Yory saw them, Joe said: "You can use magic? FANTASTIC! we are alive," Yory and the rest of the merchants kept moving to Quinn village.
