Fabian was waiting for him at the school’s main entrance.
"Hey Fabian."
"Did you bring it?"
"Bring what?"
"Don’t play dumb. The glasses."
"Yeah, I brought them." Adam said as he picked them up from his jacket’s pocket.
"Ok, put them on then, they should have had enough time to adjust to you."
"Hmmm, not sure, last night I tried them on and my brain almost exploded."
"Well, what did we tell you? Maybe next time you listen to us. Go on. Put them on."
"Alright, alright. Here goes nothing."
Adam hesitantly placed the glasses on the bridge of his nose. The immediate relief of not having shards of pain pulsate through his brain started to dissolve the clutches of fear grabbing onto his chest.
"Ok, no pain! That’s a much better start." Adam excitedly remarked, still not sure what was the deal with those glasses.
"Now give it about a minute." Fabian said with a gradually widening grin that projected his rising level of anticipation with each moment.
"Hmm, nothing is happening. What are these supposed to do anyways?"
Then, just like that, Adam was thrown into a world he had never experienced before. At least not to that degree. Mesmerizing clouds of energies flowed all around him. People were enveloped by spheres of colored light and several colored vortexes spun at varying degrees down their bodies.
"Wow, so that’s what auras and chakras really look like." Adam said.
"Neat, huh?"
"Beautiful." That was his summation of this jolt of multidimensional input.
"Come on, lets go in" Fabian tapped on his shoulder and made his way through the door.
Sparks and shooting darts of translucent plasma whizzed by Adam as small orbs of light did a little dance number around him, whisking away just as succinctly as they had appeared.
"Hahahaha." Adam laughed delightfully.
