Present day:
Ryan had successfully fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming an astronaut, now working for Space Research Incorporate, a company that started about 3 years ago, but has already  made huge developments in Space Research, their newest discovery was a strange, dwarf star in a mysterious green color, it was a dwarf, about human size. Ryan was sent out to investigate, since he had gotten a bit bored. Ryan is currently walking into the elevator up to the rocket for his mission, a buddy of his slaps him on the shoulder before he enters: “Good luck man, nice convenience how this thing is your favorite color, huh?”

“C’mon man, it’s probably just a unique coincidence.” Ryan chuckles out, before stepping in. A few seconds, later the elevator hums as it takes up to the rocket’s entrance. At the top, a bridge is slid out, allowing Ryan to walk in.

The rocket arrives four and a half hours later, thanks to the highly advanced, hyper-sonic rockets of the 2030’s. In the deep, far beyond depths of space, a hundred of millions of kilometers away from Earth. As his spacecraft slowly approached the oddly-colored celestial body, Ryan simply couldn’t resist the captivating aura radiating from it, which caused both awe and trepidation within him. Despite the multiple warnings from the voice in his mind, Ryan slid the glass door of his craft open and started to slowly and cautiously propel himself toward the star. He noticed it was quite small, just a bit bigger than his own body, and after a few seconds of looking at it, he started to reach his hand out towards the green, flaming ball of pure solar energy.
Just then, a crackle from his helmet’s intercom stopped him.

Worker (Through intercom): “Mr. Connors, I think you’re getting a bit too close to the star…”
“Oh? May I know why you’re saying that?” Ryan curiously asks back, his tone slightly joking.
The worker starts to sounds concerned: “Well, Mr. Connors… The General has forbidden you to touch any. Single. Thing. Do no- MR. CONNORS!!”
Ryan didn’t listen, he had already rolled his eyes at the (according to him) pointless warning. He pressed the button of the side of his helmet, terminating the comm line between him and the worker.
“Welp, I guess it might be too late already.”
Once again, with little to no hesitation, Ryan reaches out to touch the green, small star, quietly bracing himself in the realistic case it burns his forearm off. But that didn’t happen, instead, the moment his palm touched the star’s surface, the green orb of raw energy started to brighten, Ryan heard a soft hum in his ears and felt a warmth spread into his body, despite his space suit. He then felt a wave of tiredness and fainted on the spot, losing his consciousness as his vision faded to black, the last thing he saw was the star’s green color getting brighter and his own hand beginning to glow in the same color, before it exploded into a Super Nova and blasted Ryan away, who accidentally absorbs 85% of it, he quietly groans in pain, before fully blacking out.

-RYAN’S MEMORIES-

Childhood:
Ryan and his dad are in the science museum, young Ryan is staring in amazement at the space research subjects.
Ryan: “Papa! Papa! One day, I wanna be an astronaut!”
Ryan’s father, Jack, lets out a chuckle, and ruffles his son’s hair with his hand: “That’s very nice son! Keep hoping, my little astronaut!”

Teenage Years:
Anne: “I can’t believe you’re always getting in trouble..! When will you learn, Ryan??”
Ryan: “It was only this once, mom!”
Jack, who has come downstairs from all the noise: “Slow down, Anne, what’s all the ruckus about?”
Anne: “Ryan got in a fight at school! This is unbelievable!”
Jack: “Let the boy talk, Anne. So, what really happened, son?”

Earlier that day, at school’s racetrack:
P.E Teacher: “Alright guys, ready? Set, go!”
As the run began, Ryan got a clear head start from the boy next to him, his bully, that he was racing. Ryan managed to win the race at a whole 40 KM/H.
Bully: “Coach! That’s not fair, he can’t possibly be that fast!”
Ryan: “Dude, you’re just mad you lost! I won fair and square”
Bully: “Bullshit, this is why no one likes you, weirdo!”
Ryan gets angry from the bully’s insult. “What’d you say?!”
He lunges at the bully, starting a fight.
