Trevor's Penthouse, morning
Bad mood.
I am in an extremely bad mood. It's just six in the morning, but Trevor dragged my ass into the kitchen for breakfast, saying that he needs to go somewhere. Apparently, there's a place called somewhere here in Italy. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sizzling of mouthwatering bacon strips filled the kitchen, making my stomach rumble.
"I hate you so much," I snapped at Trevor who was busy setting our breakfast on the table. Instead of getting annoyed, Trevor placed a tall glass of chilled chocolate drink in front of me and grinned.
"I like you too, baby. Eat up," he replied, completely unaffected by tantrums and put bacon, eggs, and waffles on my plate. He also pushed a bowl of sliced fruits and a creamy and steamy soup, which by the way, smells delicious.
"Why did I have to wake up this early, Trev? Don't you feel bad? I poured my heart and soul last night. I should be getting the royal treatment, and that means sleeping in," I whined and pouted, completely irritated.
Yes. I am not good with mornings, especially when I am forced to wake up. I hate getting my sleep disturbed; it messes up my mood for the entire day. It makes me unproductive.
Trevor sighed and sat beside me. "Baby. I just don't want you to wake up without me by your side. Also, I want to have breakfast with you. It's been so long since I have breakfast with someone. Don't get mad, hmm?" Trevor cradled my face in his hands and placed a soft kiss on my forehead.
I lifted my head and locked my gaze with him, his soft expression melting all the annoyance away. "Fine. Give me a hug."
He chuckled softly and dragged my chair closer to him and scooped me out of my chair, and onto his lap. "I would give you more than a hug, baby. After all, I'll be away for a few hours. I will sorely miss you."
"You're exaggerating, Trevor."
"But you're blushing, baby. You're affected by my corny antics," he teased while I covered my burning cheeks with a pout. My heart also flipped in joy at this man's words.
"Make me feel better. I'm so cranky because of you," I whined and nuzzled on the hollow of his throat, with my arms around his back, clutching his shirt.
I never thought I'd see the day where I, Jesse Anderson, would become so needy. Who wouldn't? When a handsome, drop-dead gorgeous man spoils the hell out of you?
Trevor's sexy chuckles sent my brain into mush, so when he lifted my chin for a kiss, I did not hesitate and parted my lips. That same intoxicating and addicting sensation exploded in my mouth, making me weak in the knees, grateful for Trevor holding me in a tight grip.
My hands slid upwards until it reached the back of his head, pulling his soft hair, while Trevor's fingers slipped under the hem of my shirt. That direct skin contact sent shivers down my spine, as Trevor sucked my throat, drowning my cries.
Our tongues battled it out, with this magnetic man always winning the game. He dominated the play, reducing me into a big ball of sensations, as he fondled my body masterfully like the back of his hand.
"T-Trev... enough. Let me breathe," I mustered in between his kisses, with his hands groping my thighs, as I inhaled mouthfuls of air to save my oxygen-depleted lungs.
"Baby, I really need to train you ASAP, or... I could give you a mind-blowing kiss until you forget that you need to breathe anymore," he mused with a small smirk on his lips.
With a small eye-roll, I gave him one last peck before pointing to the food. "Feed me. Since you're leaving me for a few hours, you better spoil me."
"You do know that I will never turn down that offer. I love spoiling you, baby." Trevor sat me on his lap sideways, with my head resting on his firm chest. He handed me my choco drink while he sliced a bite-sized waffle and brought it to my lips.
"Jesse, someone will be coming over to answer your questions, as I have mentioned last night. There are things that he's not allowed to answer, so you can ask me that later."
I nodded and opened my mouth for the incoming bacon strip. After chewing it up, I sipped on my drink. "Understood. By the way, can I go outside today? For some fresh air?"
Trevor creased his forehead, as if thinking about my request, then nodded. "Sure. There will be bodyguards tailing you. It's non-negotiable, Jesse," he said in a firm tone and wiped the edge of my mouth.
"I don't mind, Trevor. I prioritize my safety too."
He smiled, pleased with my answer. "You can take Julian too. He knows where the best place to unwind and relax."
Now it's my turn to frown. "Who's Julian? I swear, Trevor, I will gut you if you're cheating on me--"
"Baby, stop. Julian is my cousin's attendant. He's the one who will stop by later. He's like my little brother. Please... no one compares to you. I do enjoy you getting jealous of someone over me, but I'm faithful and monogamous," he answered with a soft smile and licked the seam of my lips.
"More. Kiss me more."
He chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "My baby really wants to be spoiled today. I am honored," he replied and leaned down to give me an intoxicating kiss.
To summarize, our breakfast was a mix of food and a light makeout session. I don't even understand myself. I'm not this needy. I am amazing and independent, but when it comes to Trevor, I found myself clinging to him like a koala. I just feel so comfortable knowing that whatever I do, he won't get mad. After all, he indulges me in every single thing.
I was buttoning up my shirt when Trevor's arm slid around my waist, as he nuzzled on my neck. "Baby, be careful, okay? I may not be there to protect you, but I have capable men."
I patted his head and turned around, frowning when I noticed a few of his buttons were popped off, and his tie just hanging on his shoulder. I dragged him to the bed and sat on his lap, then started to button his shirt.
"You look like a mess, Trev." I reached for his tie and put it around his neck, then made sure that his collar was not crooked and messy. "What are you staring at?" He has been burning me with his stares since earlier when I presented to wash his hair and back.
His expression softened, an unreadable emotion in his eyes. "I was just convincing myself that you're not a dream, and I finally have you in my arms. It feels so surreal, Jesse," he breathed out and caressed my cheeks, tucking the wayward strands behind my ears.
I had to clutch my chest to stop it from exploding and felt a lump of emotion lodged in my throat. It was adoration and fondness. That's the look I always get from him ever since I started to accompany him for meals.
I may have deliberately ignored and dismissed those soft gazes and warm smiles because I also find it so surreal, that someone would look at me with so much fondness. Living the life I have lived, being loved by someone is pretty much a pipe dream.
Reality is not that kind, and life is not forgiving. I have long given up on trying to retrieve control of my life, but now that I think about it, it was Trevor.
"You gave me courage, Trev. I was resigning myself to my parents' control because no matter how I struggle, it's futile. Do you want to know the reason why I decided to meet you, my stalker? I mean, who would even do that?" I blinked away my tears and inhaled sharply.
Trevor just smiled and pressed his lips on my forehead for a lingering kiss. That one kiss sent a sense of calm washing over me, enveloping me in a protective layer, assuring me that from now on, he will always be here.
"It was hope, Trevor. Foolish as it is, but deep inside my heart, I was cradling that sliver of hope, never letting it die out, despite the stormy winds intending to blow it away. When I met you, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief because I know I was not stupid for hoping."
"You're the smartest person I know, Jesse," he finally said and stroked my cheeks.
"Of course I know that," I replied in a sassy tone, making him chuckle. "When my parents announced that I will be wed with their friend's daughter in two weeks, I snapped," I gritted out and touched the bandaged arm Trevor tended to. I almost forgot about the wound but Trevor's hawk eyes were able to notice it.
He was not angry; he was livid. It took a hundred kisses to calm him down and words of assurances to convince him that I'm okay.
"I did not care where my feet will take me, as long as it's a place they can never reach me." I looked straight into his worried eyes and smiled. "It's because of you that I was able to gather my courage and flee from my birdcage. For that, I thank the heavens above. Thank you for being there when I needed you most, Trevor. Thank you."
"Jesse... I'm falling..so hard and so fast. I have never felt fear. Only you made me feel a myriad of emotions. I never thought that I would be able to feel so many things at the same time; you made me human again. And I'm scared that you won't be there when I fall."
My eyes welled with tears and I let out a breathy chuckle. "Silly Trevor. Let's fall together. I don't mind the pain; after all, you'll catch me anyway. In return, I promise to never let go of your hands; no matter what, and to always believe in you."
Trevor swallowed and grinned, his eyes glistening from unshed tears, and his elated expression so visible. Being able to make someone happy is the best feeling; especially if it's someone close to your heart.

Trevor and I were snuggling in our bed, chatting about our silly experiences, when the doorbell rang. "That's Julian, baby." He held my hand while I was slipping on my loafers, and both of us went to the door to welcome the newcomer.
The door twisted opened and a black-haired slender beauty was revealed. He was wearing a white dress shirt with an emblem on his breast pocket, paired with black slacks and black shoes. His eyes were chocolate-colored, and that's not the reason why I stared at him longer than usual.
However, it seemed that Trevor was able to read my mind.
"Baby, we have enough chocolate in the fridge. Julian will melt if you continue to stare at him," Trevor whispered and kissed my temples.
I blinked several times and awkwardly smiled. I did not notice that Julian was already blushing furiously, but still trying his best to compose himself.
"I'm so sorry about that. Hi! My name's Jesse Anderson. You must be Julian." I held out my hand for a shake, a wide grin on my face.
Julian cleared his throat and glanced at Trevor before accepting my hand. My forehead creased and glanced at the man beside me.
"What was that for?" I asked in a soft voice, and Trevor just smiled.
"It's common courtesy, baby. You'll learn more later." I nodded and turned my attention back to Julian.
"It's great to finally meet you, Jesse. I'm Julian Russo, the personal attendant of Master Augustus Riviero, Master Trevor's cousin. I came here under Master Trevor's instructions, with the permission of my Master," Julian politely answered, like the good-mannered kid that he is.
"Not to be rude, but... how old are you?"
Julian blinked and smiled. He looks prettier when he smiles. "I'm twenty-two, Jesse."
"Wow. I thought you were my age," I gasped, amazed. "I'm twenty, by the way. So, you're three years younger as my stalker here," I referred to Trevor who just rolled his eyes and playfully strangled me with his thick arm.
"Stop it, you brute. No kisses later," I threatened and Trevor pulled me in for a tight hug.
"I'm just kidding, baby. I'll leave you with Julian. They need me there." Trevor presses his lips on mine, a bit longer than intended, and if not for our audience, I would have indulged him, but I'm not a fan of voyeurism.
I broke our kiss and chuckled at his unsatisfied frown. "Lean in, Trev." He nodded with a pout and obeyed me anyway. I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned over his ear.
"We'll have an intense makeout session in the shower later. I promise," I whispered seductively and his low growl did not escape my hearing. His fingers grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to his body...the hard part of his body.
"I'll hold onto you for that, you tease," he warned and kissed my forehead before rushing out of the room.
I could feel my cheeks getting warm from that short but sweet farewell. When I turned to Julian, his cheeks were redder than mine, that I was not able to contain my giggles.
"Want some drinks?"
"Please," he managed to squeak, as I dragged him into the kitchen.
Library
That drink really helped both of us calm down. I brought my own tumbler of chocolate drink, in case of emergency, while Julian made his fruit tea. I did not expect that Trevor would have a library inside his unit, but I should not be surprised.
It's Trevor we're talking about.
The library was large enough for five people. An average-sized bookshelf was anchored in the upper left corner of the beige wall. There was a large desk, definitely for Trevor. In front of the desk were four couches, with a coffee table in the center. The floor was carpeted, the room was air-conditioned, and Julian mentioned that it's soundproof.
This room is perfect for studying and lazing around. It got everything I need; coolness, comfort, books, and a piano.
Julian sat down and pushed some buttons on the wall, revealing a widescreen TV appearing from the ceiling.
"Whoa. That's amazing."
Julian chuckled and nodded. "Master Trevor had this unit customized; after all, they own this hotel."
My jaw dropped to the floor, and I'm even surprised with myself that I kept on getting caught off-guard. "I... should've expected it, right?"
Julian nodded and inserted a small flash drive on the TV. "Are you ready? Once you see the contents of this drive, there's no backing out. Literally."
I took a sip of my chocolate drink, then filled my lungs with air. "Julian, one question." Julian nodded and gestured for me to continue. "He's... in the mafia, right? Trevor, I mean."
Now it's Julian's turn to gape. He parted his mouth in shock, confused. Is that how I looked like earlier? Wow.
Julian's expression morphed into a panicked one but was able to successfully compose himself. He cleared his throat and looked at me in confusion. "H-How?"
With a sigh, I sat up properly. "I saw his tattoo on his left chest."
Chewing my lips nervously and wringing my fingers anxiously, I took a deep breath. "I haven't told Trevor yet, but my parents... I think that they have connections with the mafia."
