“What if she dies my lord?”

 exclaimed the guard raising his head with worry. The tension in the room is very tense as the question seems to mimic everyone present in the room but more worried about a measly guard questioning the decision of his Highness.

“You dare question my judgment dear?” said he with a wicked smile menace glinting in his eyes. “Forgive me my lord I was just merely asking about the future of the child. She is to take a husband this year and such a gentle child she is.”

“That is exactly why I want her prepared,” said his highness cutting the guard short. He slowly dropped his head to the ground and listened intently.

“You want to know the future, do you? I understand so listen wisely my royal subject. I want her prepared to take forward the legacy that I have built. The world is not just tea parties and marriages I want her prepared to understand the business” he said while emphasising the end of that sentence. “And if she cannot deal with any of this then I am afraid she is as good as dead to me already.”

A gasp escaped the guard who was kneeling now tremors of pain shot through his back. He touched his back and soon felt blood gushing down the floor. He willed to stand but to no avail.

“You see my dear, there comes consequence to truth that is to be told. I have told you the truth I will to kill her if she is not the fittest to save my empire my kingdom that I have built over the years. I am a good man and I have always treated my subjects with respect but if anyone and I mean anyone comes in between my success will face the same fate.  Now, I have told you the truth in return for your life.”

The guard was in tears. All his life went into serving the royal family but never in a million years he sought to receive death by one. He closed his eyes as he tried to stand to give one more bow but his body failed him. He had lived a fulfilling life but he had a daughter who he was leaving behind. Who will wonder why her dad was not home that day, that he had left her to go far and never come back.

“Please highness, you have taken my life but be so kind to send one message to my daughter that I have been posted on a satellite far away. That I will come back one way. Do not tell her I am dead. That will devastate her please do not kill her hope. Let me live and die a hero in her eyes.”

He sputtered more blood and collapsed on the floor.

The message was acknowledged and another guard was sent to deliver the news. The remaining entourage kept their heads low as his highness breathed a deep sigh.

“My decision is made and this mission is to be carried out as planned” he said as he passed through the people present and retired into his quarters for the night.

The room was huge with ample chandeliers to light up the entire city. A bed situated in the midst of the grandeur and his queen lay there naked looking at him intently.

“Is it done honey?” she asked him getting on both her arms. His highness gave her a bittersweet smile.

Must we do this he asked her as she took him between her embrace. Her soft skin touching his face, he forgot what they were speaking about for a moment. He looked up at her and took her face in his hands. She looked at his eager lips and kissed him gently his worry instantly melting away.

“I am doing this for her won good my darling, worry not and do not think about the worst.”

She smiled at him and he smiled back “Anything for you my queen”.

He could not believe that the most beautiful woman in the entire galaxy was lying with him in bed. Her charm had caught him off-guard when they first met. Even after having a daughter who was nearing eighteen years old, Elara’s beauty only seemed to get more intense. She had the beauty and brains and was the backbone of the entire economy of the realm. She was modest for the world but dirty for him and that excited him to another degree and he would give her anything today’s decision stood testament to that.

She erotically sat on his lap and wrapped her body around his.

“Now honey I must leave, but I will be back and next time we meet and god forbid the project goes to plan I will show you the universe, my love”

His heart thrummed and blind was lust was already forming in his eyes. He was sad to let her go, he would miss her smile every single second, every minute until he met her next.

“Oh, my queen please stay, let me explore you further. Don’t let go of me yet” he pleaded, grabbing her back to bed. He looked at her locker under him and dragged his hand along the inside of her thigh. Her hand snaked around his neck gently but held on to it more tightly and continued to get firmer. Royal Highness felt breathless and was struggling against her grip.

“The next time you grab me it will be your last day in this realm honey,” she said with a sinister authority and let go of his neck. He choked and coughed and sat up by the end of the bed.

Her Stellar Queen called for her servant as a slim-looking red head dashed through the door. Her eyes widened at the view before her but quickly ducked her head not daring to look the queen right in the eyes.

She grabbed the disposed closed by the end of the bed and started dressing up the queen. Queen Elara sat in silence and His Highness composed himself to be modest in front of the servant.

“Don’t be crestfallen darling” she said her mischievous side coming back in full glory as she crawled back to him fully dressed this time. “I have to go back but when I return this all is yours” he smiled back at her and muttered an apology. The servant retired from the room and Elara bid farewell. She took one look at herself in the mirror, fixed her appearance to fit more to the Stellar Queen than a dirty bed warmer, and moved out with a queenly charm and a façade of a kind heart and a pretty smile.
