AYAMI

 

Why would I have a dream about such an awful thing?                     

Tears dwelled upon my eyes.

“Ayami, why are you… are you okay?” she said as she kept her hand near my shoulder. Her forehead wrinkled with concern.

“Yeah, I am” I rapidly blinked my eyes in attempts to dry up the tears.

“I am so sorry if I said something that hurt you.” She started panicking

 “if it’s the photo with grandma, she has already arranged for a photographer for tomorrow, since tomorrow seems like the only day everyone will be free” she assured

“Oh no.no it’s not that. I am just hungry and feel nauseous” I quickly covered up with a lie

“oh” she sighed “you scared me, let’s go eat then”

We went downstairs to the dining hall

“Is it strawberry muffins??” Kayda exclaimed as we walked into the dining halls

I looked at the table to see dan arranging it. He looked up at us smiling and gave a nod.

“But there is no food on the table, did you smell it out?” I asked curiously

“of course, I would know the smell of strawberry muffins even from a mile away.” she put on a proud smile.

 

We went to the conservatory after finishing breakfast.

I specifically made sure to be concentrated on watering the plant base properly. Kayda cut the stems for propagation, and Elena planted the stems on small pots.

We then filled the new bigger pots with soil and other essentials, and removed the plants from their old small pot and planted it into the new one.

“Oh, this one dried.” Kayda said as she pointed at one of the plants that dried out.

Elena came up to the plant and casted magic on it.

Green sparkles spiralled around the plant as it started to look like it never dried up.

“You are a healer?” I asked her

“Yes dear” she replied

“I see that the lazy girl is working hard today” Izar mocked Kayda, as he walked into the conservatory.

He shot a glance at me,

“So, this is your long-lost sister, no wonder I found her familiar” he smiled at me

“Yeah” kayda scoffed at Izar's mocking tone 

“Hello, I am Izar, nice to meet you” He extended his hands for me

“Nice to meet you too. I am Ayami” I held my hands up to show the mud.

“That’s alright. A little bit of mud isn’t gonna hurt” he said as he grabbed my hand

I gave an awkward smile as I could feel both Kayda and Elena’s intense stare at my back  

“Could you kids help me put the pots onto the other side?” Elena asked

“Yeah, we will” Kayda responded as she took one of the pots by herself effortlessly

Elena carried another one and I took the one in front of me 

H.E.A.V.Y

I struggled a bit but still didn’t show it, since it will be embarrassing because Elena and Kayda took it over so smoothly. I picked up the heavy pot as Izar kept watching me.

“Here, let me help” he said as he took the pot from my hands before I could stop him

Elena Kayda and Kai, who just spawned into the conservatory right then gasped at the same time.

“What is it?” I asked, scared

“What am I seeing” Kayda exclaimed “the heartless Izar helping a girl out?”. “Is it the end of the world?”

“Did you throw the real Izar out because he annoyed you?” she questioned kai

“I don’t know, I think maybe I did. Cause this isn’t him.” Kai mimicked the dramatic tone of Kayda

“Oh my gosh, we lost our stupid, prickly, annoying Izar” She mimicked crying on kai’s arms as he acted along.

Izar rolled his eyes and kept the pot on the corner floor

“We will be seeing new things I believe” kai commented with a smirk

“Yes, we will” Kayda said as she smirked at me
