Devon's Residence
"Dev, are you sure about this?"
Elijah referred to his current position in Devon's arm, while the latter is preparing Elijah's clothes for a sleepover. Elijah mentioned that his place is a few steps away, but Devon was not hearing it.
"You know, you could put me down for a bit. I won't mind," Elijah added with a smile but Devon shook his head and continued to search for a shirt that would fit Elijah.
"Sunshine, I don't mind. I like having you in my arms. Plus, I had lifted things four times your weight," Devon replied like it was not a big deal, and decided on a pastel blue cotton shirt. Devon pulled it from the hanger and handed it to Elijah.
"Really? You're so amazing, Dev. Can you show me next time?" Elijah was brimming with amazement and excitement as he stared at the man with a grin.
"No problem, sunshine. I have a gym on the rooftop. We could go there tomorrow." Devon reached for the unopened boxer shorts that were a size smaller for him.
Having settled with Elijah's clothes, Devon stepped out of the dressing room and into the large bath. Even if Elijah's bathroom was as big as Devon's, he still couldn't get used to such luxury.
"Wow. Your bathroom is so big. It's as big as the apartment I was renting," Elijah shared and swept his eyes around the bath.
Devon's bathroom has a marbled floor with a blue hue. A jacuzzi sits on the rightmost part of the room, big enough for three people. Beside the jacuzzi is the shower area, with a big and wide showerhead installed and two knobs that got Elijah frowning. "That is called a rain sky shower, sunshine," Devon referred to the rectangular, stainless-steel showerhead.
Devon heard Elijah's soft gasp, chuckling softly when Elijah asked him to put the latter down, so he could inspect the knobs. Elijah immediately walked towards the shower area while Devon placed Elijah's clothes in the vanity.
"Be careful, sunshine. Don't push the buttons haphazardly or--"
A loud squeak echoed and Devon snapped his head towards Elijah who was now dripping wet and based on his trembling form, absolutely freezing. Thank goodness he didn't press the button for hot water.
"Dev, it's c-cold. I don't know which button to push for it to stop. SOS. Please help," Elijah was able to muster despite his chattering teeth.
Two strides were all it took before Devon had Elijah on his arms, the poor boy pressing his body towards Devon for body warmth.
"I got you, sunshine. I got you," Devon hushed Elijah and pressed buttons for a warm shower.
"Here you go." Devon put Elijah under the warm shower and brushed the boy's hair softly.
"You can use whatever shower gel you want on the shelf. The towel is in the vanity drawer. Call my attention once you're done, okay?"
Elijah nodded and smiled, feeling so relax and warm. "Thank you, Dev." Lesson learned. Do not push buttons randomly. But there is something about buttons that makes you want to push them.
Devon nodded and left Elijah on his own. He closed the bathroom door and headed to his dressing room. There's another bathroom inside his dressing room, but not as large as the main bath. He had one constructed for emergency purposes.
meanwhile,
Elijah sighed pleasantly when the warm drizzle flowed ever his skin. He removed his clothes and checked the shelf Devon pointed to earlier. There were different brands, and Elijah is not familiar with all of those brands, so he settled on the nice-looking white bottle.
"The scent smells so good," he breathed out after removing the seal. It turned out to be vanilla-scented. It smells sweet, but not too strong. He reached for the unopened loofah in one of the racks and rubbed his body thoroughly.
Elijah must have enjoyed the rain shower a bit too much, to the point where Devon had to knock on the door, worried about what happened to the boy. Is sunshine alright? He's taking a bit longer.
"Sunshine? Are you okay in there?" Devon impatiently tapped his foot on the floor, as he waited for Elijah's reply. He brushed his hair back and started pacing back and forth while glancing at the closed door.
"I'm coming out, Dev. Just a second," Elijah finally replied after figuring out how to turn off the shower. He might have taken a long time because he enjoyed the bath. It's like showering in the actual rain!
Elijah dried off his body and used the clothes Devon lent him. The shirt was oversized, as expected, but Elijah liked the fabric. The boxers were okay because they fit him, so he had no problem. He rolled the sleeves of the shirt and used the towel to dry his hair.
Devon was finally able to let go of the breath he was holding when the bathroom door clicked open, revealing Elijah fresh from the bath, steam surrounding the boy, and his wonderful scent being sent to Devon's nose.
Vanilla. It was a shower gel given to him by Oliver as a present, though he had no use for it, so it remained unopened. However, the vanilla scent mixing with Elijah's was dizzying for Devon that he had to take a step back and walked towards the balcony for some fresh air.
Elijah drowning in Devon's shirt and the boy's rosy cheeks and delectable form was too much of a sight for Devon.
"Calm down, Devon. Calm down. Deep breaths. You're better than this," he scolded himself, but he was actually reprimanding the arousal beginning to swell in his pants. "Fuck it, I'm a healthy man. What do you expect me to do?" Devon grumbled to no one, as he stared heavenwards in frustration.
It has been a few months of celibacy for Devon. Actually, he took a huge blow when Jamie cheated on him, and his ego and confidence as a man were struck hard. Devon tried getting it on with uncollared subs, but he couldn't get hard.
Now, there's Elijah. Innocent and sexy, without even trying. The boy didn't need to wear skimpy clothing or do extra effort, because Elijah looks delectable with just an oversized shirt and messy hair. Even if he doesn't know it.
"Dev, thank you for lending me your bath. I like the shower. It feels like bathing in the rain," Elijah animatedly said when he was finally beside Devon. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the gust of the cold night breeze against his skin.
"You're welcome, sunshine. I was actually worried because it took you long to come out, but I'm glad that you enjoyed your bath." Devon turned to Elijah with a smile, thankful that his libido was cooperating a bit. Emphasis on the last phrase, because his arousal still hurts.
"You have a huge room. The ceilings are also high. Do you have a TV here, Dev? I have one in my room, and I had Mina teach me how to record Phineas and Ferb. I also like Gravity Falls," Elijah shared and Devon nodded, filing it for future retrieval.
Elijah was looking around the room, exploring the area, and examined anything that caught him fancy. His feet stopped on Devon's shelf, particularly on the beautiful snow globe with a polar bear warming itself on a bonfire.
Devon picked the snow globe and handed it to Elijah, which the latter gleefully accepted. "I got this as a present from my father when I was five years old. He was not able to attend my birthday because of urgent business, but the present came on time. I found it so hilarious that a polar bear was freezing to the point where it had to warm itself. I mean, it's a polar bear," Devon added with a laugh that made Elijah grin.
Seeing Devon being comfortable with his company made Elijah feel giddy and happy. "Oh, I had to call grammie and grandpops today!" Elijah handed the snow globe to Devon and ran to his bag on top of Devon's bed. It turned out that Mina handed it to Devon before they left the club.
"Grammie and grandpops?" Devon placed the snow globe back in its position and walked towards the foot of the bed, then sat down.
"Yeah. I told them that I would be calling them today. I just forgot," Elijah answered as he continued to search for his phone. "Got it." He smiled and blinked at Devon who was staring at him with so much curiosity. "Oh yeah. They're your grandparents too," Elijah giggled and started to search for his grammie's number.
"Alright, sunshine. I'll give you some privacy. You can find me in the kitchen. I'll be cooking our dinner. What do you want?" Devon tucked the strands of Elijah's hair and stroked the boy's warm cheeks softly. Sunshine is so adorable when he blushes.
"Fried chicken! I want spicy fried chicken!" Elijah answered with a bounce on his feet. He had been craving some spicy fried chicken and a creamy mushroom soup.Devon was surprised when Elijah asked for a spicy dinner option. "Spicy fried chicken, coming up. What else?"
"Mushroom soup and a mango fruit shake." Devon nodded and stood up. "Thank you so much, Dev. Is there something I can do for you? As a thank you?" Elijah looked at Devon with hopeful eyes, and Devon smiled softly.
"Being with you is enough to make me happy, sunshine." Elijah blushed for the nth time, swooning at Devon's words. He has been blushing for more than he can count. "But, if you insist..." Devon trailed off, gazing down at Elijah who hummed and nodded.
"Yes? What is it?"
"Let's have a Phineas and Ferb marathon, with you on my lap." Devon did not need to guess Elijah's reply because the latter squealed and jumped on Devon for a tight hug.
"I would love to, Dev! That's a great idea!" Devon chuckled at Elijah's positive and energetic response, then kissed the top of Elijah's head before leaving to cook their dinner.
Elijah was left with his lips parted, his hand touching the part of his hair where Devon kissed him. Elijah reached for a pillow and buried his face on it to muffle his squeals. Oh, my Lord! Devon kissed me! He kissed me! Elijah had to rub his cheeks because it was so warm.
After a few minutes of calming himself down, Elijah decided to call his grammie, but before he can do that, his phone rang and a name flashed. He picked up the call.
"Hello, this is Elijah."
"Hello, Eli. How are you? Are you alright? Did the ex-manager hurt you?" A worried voice from the other line was sent to Elijah's ears.
"Hi, Trevor! I am okay, no harm done. Devon took care of me," he added with a shy smile and tried to keep his excited bounce to a minimum. He can't help it. Being with Devon makes him feel thrilled.
Trevor released a sigh of relief. "That's good news, Eli. Where are you now? Did he drove you home? Of course, he did. He'll get it if he didn't."
"Yes, he did. I'm currently in his room right—" Elijah's words were cut off when Trevor chimed in a controlled voice, so as not to scare Elijah.
"What?! I'm sorry, Eli, but can you repeat what you said? You are in his room?"
Elijah nodded, even if Trevor cannot see him. "Why did you raise your voice? Are you angry?" Did he say something that irked Trevor?
"That fucker. What is he thinking, bringing you into his home?"
Elijah furrowed his brows. "Pardon, Trevor, but can you repeat what you said? I was not able to catch it." Just then, Elijah's phone beeped and switched off automatically.
"Oh. Empty battery. I forgot to charge it. Never mind. I'll ask Trevor next time." Elijah looked for his charger and plugged it into the nearby socket. He then walked towards the shelf and picked a book on astronomy, then went back to the bed to read.
