The silence lingered for ages, a numbness started to envelope him, Timothy couldn't feel or see anything save for the sharp numbness that was taking over his body, like ice racing through his veins. Where were they? Was he still alive? If they were, could they make it out of wherever they were in one piece or would they become something else like Magni had? Gods how he missed that man, his older brother, the reason he kept coming back to Avernai had been Magni, because the fool had fallen in love on their adventure and Draena had dragged them home, belly ready to pop...

The memories flooded his mind. Magni and him playing swords as kids, a pain streaked through him, another memory, Daebru sitting on a wall feet swinging as he read a book aloud for Timothy. He felt himself double over in pain and rapidly blinked. Vision was comin back and everything was... fine, everything was fine, aside the pain they appeared to be okay. Kalla turned to smile at him and then rushed to his side as his vision went black.

He drifted, the sound of a shoreline, he could feel himself bobbing in the water, "hey... heeeyyyy!" A young voiced called out from the shore and he rolled to look over. Big moonstone eyes and a wide grin greeted him and he rode the waves on his belly to the shore and just laid in the sand looking up at the young noble, "why're you always out there when I come to fine you? You part fish or something?"

Timothy giggled and shook his head, "naw, I just like ta be in tha water, feel more at home there, more peaceful anyways," he shrugged and got to his feet. He was eye to eye with the noble and guessed they were about the same age.
