On the way to the beach, Rein noticed they were near the food court. He stopped and said "Mind if i get foods and drinks first?"

"Get me some too," said Anton "Hmm.. i want beef stroganoff and potato fries."

"An omelette with tomato sauce would be nice," Raphael flicking his hair.

"Me rendang please," Bulan raised her hand.

"And.." he looked at Akane.

"I'll help you carry it," she said.

"Okay, we'll be waiting at the usual spot," said Bulan.

The three continued running towards the beach. Rein and Akane entered the food court, the place was rather empty. A little girl was ordering from the chef droid, she maybe still a toddler, he wondered why she was alone, where were her parents or the caretaker.

The chef handed a box to the little girl, but it was too big for her. She wobbled and about to fell. Rein quickly jumped and caught her before she hit the floor, he managed to catch the box as well.

"Are you hurt?" he asked.

Akane helped the little girl to stood up.

The little girl shook her head, "Tank yu, mistel"

"Where are your par-"

"Miss Eclair!" a droid was approaching them "I had been looking everywhere for you," the droid thanks them before scolding the little girl for leaving the house by herself. "let’s head back home, little miss. Its almost time for your mother to called you, you missed her don't you?"

The little girl smiled. The droid carried her and took the box from Rein. She waved at them before they left the food court.

He noticed Akane was smiling at him, "Uh.. what?" asked Rein confused "is something on my face?"

"Nothing.." she still smiled. She took a band-aid from her bag "your elbow.."

"Huh?" He checked his elbow, it was bleeding. After cleaning his wound with the water from the fountain, Akane applied the band-aid on his elbow "Thank you."

He walked to the chef droid and ordered their food; Akane went to the other stall to get some ice cream and drinks. After waiting for a while, the droid delivered them their orders and they ran to the beach because the sun almost set.

At the beach, they went to the lighthouse near the pier, their usual place to hang out after school. Rein helped Akane climbed the ladder. Their friends were sitting on the ledge.

"Finally!" said Anton "I'm starving."

Rein and Akane sat beside them, and began distributing the food. He put the cooler box behind them "Ice cream and drinks."

"ice cream? yay!" Bulan wiggled her hands. She put her meal box on her lap and took an ice cream from the cooler box.

Raphael opened his box "You forgot the sauce."

"Really? Sorry.."

"I got an extra soy sauce," Bulan waving a packet.

Raphael sighed "Better than nothing."

They ate their meal while watching the sun slowly submerged into the sea and the view being replaced with the stars outside.

"I like sunset," said Akane "It warms my heart.."

"Me too.." said Bulan.

"Yea.. and nex tim, we'll finlly be abl to see the rel one," said Rein while munching a yakitori.

"Swallow that first," said Bulan.

"Gulp" "Sorry.."

Anton rummaging the cooler box “Where sea salt ice cream?” he asked.

“I thought you like sea salt soda,” Rein replied.

Raphael chuckled “Might as well give him a frozen soup.”

Anton sighed and drank the sea salt soda.

"Uhmm.. can i see your badge?" Akane asked her friends. She took her badge from her bag and passed it to Rein first.

"Uh.. sure.." Rein took his badge from his pocket and gave it to her. He examined Akane's badge, it was a star shaped keychain, it kind of cute. He then passed the badge to Raphael. Bulan's badge was a crescent moon really suits her. Anton's was just a bear sitting, while Raphael's badge was a pigeon carrying a twig.

"Yours really cute.." said Bulan, wiggling Akane's badge.

"Hmm.. yours kinda girlish," Anton looking at Rein's badge.

"I think it's cute," said Akane

"Heh.." Anton grinned.

"It does have some aesthetic to it," said Raphael waving his hand "By the way, it's dark already.”

Akane looked sad "You know.. I wished we could stay here longer.. but okay.."

They collected their trash and climbed down the lighthouse. Rein threw the trash into a nearby recycle bin before joining his friends leaving the beach.

At the intersection that led to Rein's house.

"Group hug!!" Bulan pulled them together and hugged them "I'm going to miss you all."

"In the future.. let’s meet again, together with our team," Rein smiled.

"That's a great idea." said Anton.

"Yeah.. it's a promise." said Bulan.

Raphael nodded in agreement.

"Well.. Good luck everyone.." said Rein "and.. see you again.. "

"Rein, wait, I.." Akane seemed about to say something, but she just shook her head and said "Yeah.. see you, Rein.."

“See you Akane..” he smiled.

Rein waved at his friends and walked to his house. He faintly heard Bulan said “You’re not going to tell him?”

“It’s okay..” said Akane.

In front of his house, Ruby the caretaker droid was waiting for him. She opened the door and Rein followed behind her entering his house and walked to the kitchen.

She shoved a bowl of cold laksha to him "It's late, where have you been?"

"Huh?" he was puzzled.

"Hmph! then enjoy it then," she's about leave.

"But- Akane asked me to-"

Ruby quickly turned around, she seemed happy all of a sudden "Going out with miss Engel? then i will let it slide," she snatched the bowl and held it on her hands for few minutes before giving it back to him.

"Waoh!" Rein put the bowl at the table, it was pipping hot.

"Enjoy master Barret." she said before leaving kitchen while humming and mumbling about finally able to taking care of something.

Rein blowing his hands and wondering what was that about. He wrapped the bowl with a towel and took it to his room. While waiting for it to cooled down, he began sorting his belonging. He lined his clothes on his bed, "hmm.." he mumbled while tossing his favorite clothes into the luggage "This shoes.. and that," looking at his bookshelf, he took some of his books and murmured "Yeah, couple of books would be nice, where did i put that lord of the necklace.."

After finished packing his luggage and ate the laksha, he asked Ruby to helped him cleaned the house. An hour later, exhausted, he changed his clothes and was about to end the day when he heard his new watch buzzing. He took his watch and saw an unknown ID was calling for him. He received the call and a screen appeared from the watch.

"Rein!" called his mother from the screen; his father was beside her.

"Mom! Dad!"

"How are you, kiddo?" his father waved at him.

"It's been a while, look at you, you look like your father when he's young," his mother smiled at him.

"Hey! I’m still young," his father protested.

"You already 300," said his mother.

"But you also 30- gwahh.." his father got shoved by his mother.

"Whoops, by the way.. congratulation Rein! sorry, we wanted to go back to celebrate your graduation but we were busy.."

"Don't worry mom," said Rein "where are you now?"

"At a planet called Arcehathua, we are about to meet with one of their ruler," said his father; sweeping dust from his robe.

"Do they possessed advance technologies?" asked Rein.

"Nah! they still use ancient tools," his father shook his head "We are pretending to be a traveling merchant, the ruler love intricate goods, so we made this," his father showed him a grotesque looking cup.

"That's-" Rein appalled.

A humanoid bug creature appeared behind his parents.

"Erica! Ryde! They finally gave us the permit," said the creature. It looked at the screen and took off it head, which startled Rein. She was Azee, she waved at him. He remembered meeting her during his parent last visit 18 years ago.

"Okay, tell the other to get ready," said his mother "I'm sorry Rein.. but we have to go.."

"it’s alright, mom.."

"And Ruby, thank you for raising our Rein," said his mother.

"Huh?" Rein looked behind him and was surprised to see Ruby was there.

"Pleasure all mine, young miss. I will always be here for the Barret family," Ruby replied.

His mother giggled "Well.. Rein, good luck.. and see you, Ruby.."

"Good luck on your journey, kiddo.." his father grinned "Let's do some joint exploration in the future."

His mother and father waved at them before donning their bug mask and ended the transmission. Ruby quickly left his room. Rein put his watch on the desk and lied in his bed. He closed his eyes and tried to sleep, but he was too excited, couldn't wait for tomorrow to come.
