Rein and the other exited the gate. Rein stopped and looked back, he smiled and bowed at the academy.

"Rein?" Akane called him, the other were looking at him.

"Coming!" he ran to his friends.

They were about to head back home when suddenly Akane suggested "How about we go watch sunset?"

"I can't." Raphael shook his head, his hair flailing. "My ship arrive tonight. i haven't pack my belonging yet."

Anton checked his watch. "It's almost five."

"We should hurry then." said Bulan "Come on! Raph, for the last time!" she pushed Raphael

Raphael sighed. "Alright, alright, stop pushing me.."

Bulan giggled. "let's go!" she ran ahead. Anton and Raphael followed her.

"Let's go, Rein." Akane extended her hand

"Okay."

They ran towards the beach. On the way there, Rein noticed they were near the food court. He stopped and told the other "Mind if i get some foods and drinks?"

"Get me some too." said Anton "Hmm.. i want beef stroganoff and potato fries."

"an omelette with tomato sauce would be nice."  Raphael flicking his hair

"Me rendang, please." Bulan raised her hand

"And.." he looked at Akane

"I'll help you carry it." she replied

 "Okay, we'll be waiting at the usual spot." said Bulan, they continued running towards the beach

Rein and Akane entered the food court. The place was rather empty, there's only a little girl ordering from the chef droid. She's maybe still a toddler, he wondered where were her parents or the caretaker. The chef handed a box to the little girl, but it was too big for her, she woobled and was about to fell. Rein quickly jumped and caught her before she hit the floor, he managed to caught the box as well.

"Are you hurt?" He asked

Akane helped the little girl to stood up.

The little girl shook her head. "Tank yu, mistel"

"Where are your par-"

"Miss Eclaire!"  they saw a droid approaching them "I have been looking everywhere for you." The droid thanked them and then scolded the little girl for leaving the house by herself. "let's head back home, little miss. It's almost time for your mother to call you? you missed her don't you?"

The little girl smiled. The droid carried her and took the box from Rein. She waved at Rein and Akane before they left the food court.

Rein waved back at the little girl, he noticed Akane smiled while looking at him. "uh.. what?" asked Rein confused "is something on my face?"

"Nothing.." Akane still smiled, She then took a balm from her bag. "you scrape your elbow.."

"Huh?" Rein checked his elbow, it's bleeding. 

After cleaning his wound with the water from the fountain, Akane applied the balm to his elbow which immediately stopped the bleeding. 

"Thank you." said Rein

They approached the chef droid and ordered their foods, Akane also ordered some ice cream. After waiting for a while, the droid gave them their order and they hurriedly ran to the beach because the sun almost set.

They saw the beach, they went to the lighthouse near the pier, their usual place to hang out after school. Rein helped Akane climbed the ladder.

"Finally!" Anton looking at them. He and the other were sitting on the ledge. "i'm starving."

Rein and Akane sat beside them, and began distributing the food. 

"Anyone want ice cream?" Rein waving an ice cream bar

"ice cream, yay!" Bulan wiggled her hands, she put her meal box on her lap and took the ice cream

Raphael opened his box, "You forgot the sauce."

"sorry.."

"I got an extra ketchup." Bulan threw one at him

Raphael sighed "Better than nothing."

They ate their meal while watching the sunset. The sun slowly submerged in to the sea and being replaced with the stars from outside.

"I like sunset," said Akane suddenly "It warms my heart."

"Me too.." Bulan leaned back on the wall

"Yea.. and nex tim, we'll finlly be abl to see the rel one."  said Rein while munching a yakitori.

 "Swallow that first." Bulan giggled

"Gulp" "Sorry.."

Akane put down her meal and then asked everyone "Uhmm.. can i see your badge?" she took her badge from her bag and passed it to Rein first.

"Uh.. sure.." Rein gave his badge to Akane. Rein examined Akane's badge, it's a star shaped keychain, it's kind of cute. He then passed it to Bulan and then looked at the other badge, Bulan's badge was a crescent moon (Well.. that suits her), Anton's badge was just a bear sitting on a rock, while Raphael's badge was a white bird carrying a twig.

"Yours really cute, Akane." Bulan checking her badge

"Hmm.. yours kinda girlish." Anton examined Rein's badge.

"I think it's cute." said Akane

"Heh.." Anton grinned, he gave Rein's badge back.

"It does have some aesthetic to it" Raphael waving his hand. "By the way, it's dark already, i have to prepare for tonight."

Bulan suddenly looked sad "you know.. I wished we could stay longer.. but okay.."

They collected their trash and climbed down the lighthouse. Rein threw the trash in a nearby recycle bin before joining the other. They walked until they reached the intersection that led to his house.

"Group hug!!" Bulan suddenly pulled them together and hugged them. "i'm going to miss all of you."

"Next time.. let's meet again, together with our team." Rein smiled

"that's a great idea." Anton gave a thumbs up

"Yeah.. it's a promise." said Bulan. 

Raphael nodded in agreement.

"Well.. good luck everyone.." Rein waved at them "and.. see you again.. ". He's about to head back home.

"Rein, wait, I.." Akane seemed about to say something, but she then shook her head and said "yeah.. see you, Rein.."

Rein waved at his friends and then walked to his house. When he was near his home, he saw Ruby, the caretaker droid was waiting for him there. She opened the door and Rein followed her. As soon as he entered, She shoved a bowl of cold laksha to him and said "It's late, where have you been?"

"Huh?" Rein was puzzled

"Hrmph! then enjoy it then." she's about leave

"But-  Akane asked me to-"

Ruby quickly turned around, she seemed happy all of a sudden. "Going out with miss Engel?  then i will let it slide." Ruby beamed, she snatched the bowl and held it on her hands for few minutes before giving it back to Rein.

"Waoh!" Rein quickly put the bowl at the table, it was pipping hot.  

"Enjoy master Barret." she left the kitchen while humming and mumbling aboutcan't wait taking care of something.

Rein wondered what was that about. He wrapped the bowl with a towel and took it to his room. While waiting for it to cooled down, he began sorting his belonging. Rein lined his clothes at his bed, "hmm.." he mumbled while tossing the best looking clothes he had into the luggage. "This shoes.. and that." He looked at his bookshelf, he took some of his books and murmured "Yeah, couple of books would be nice."

After finished packing his luggage and ate the laksha, he asked Ruby to helped him cleaned the house. Rein changed his clothes and about to end the day when he heard his watch buzzing. He took his watch and saw an unknown ID calling for him. He received the call and a screen appeared from the watch.

"Rein!" called his mother from the screen; his father was beside her.

"Mom! Dad!"

"How are you, son?" said his father

 "It's been a while, look at you, you look like your father when he's young." His mother smiled at him.

"Hey! i'm still young too." yelled his father

"You're already 300." replied his mother

"But you're also 30-" 

his mother shoved his father away.

"whoops, By the way.. Congratulation Rein! Sorry, we wanted to go back to celebrate your graduation but we were busy."

"Don't worry mom." Rein smiled "Where are you now?"

"At a planet called Arcehathua, we're about to meet with one of their ruler." his father sweeping the dust from his robe.

"Do they possess  advance technologies?" asked Rein

"Nah! they still use ancient tools. We're pretending to be a traveling merchant, the ruler loves intricate antique, so we made this." his father showed him a grotesque looking cup.

"That's-" Rein appalled

Suddenly a humanoid bug creature approached his parent. "Erica! Ryde! They finally gave us permit." said the creature. It looked at the screen and took off it head, which startled Rein. She's Azee, she waved at Rein. He remembered meeting her during his parent last visit 17 years ago.

"Okay.. Az, tell the other to get ready." his mother gestured at her "I'm sorry Rein.. but we have to go.."

"Don't worry, mom.."

"And Ruby, thank you for raising our Rein." said his mother

"Huh?" Rein looked behind him and was surprised to see Ruby was there.

"Pleasure all mine, young miss. I will always be here for the Barret family." said Ruby

Rein's mother giggled "Well.. Rein, good luck. and see you, Ruby."

"Good luck on your journey, son." his father waved at him "and Ruby see-"

However Ruby ignored him and left the room.

"Again! why she always does that." his father protested

His mother cheered him up. They waved at Rein and donned their bug costume before the transmission ended. Rein put his watch on the desk and lied down in his bed. He closed his eyes and tried to sleep, but he was too excited and couldn't wait for tomorrow to come.
