The not so kind cheerleader

Heart-to-heart

Heart-to-heart

Jun 25, 2024

"Are your parents working or something?" For a second it seems Iara's face turns into a frown but before Anastacia can really say anything the other girl responds with an annoyed face like usual.

"We are here to dance, not talk about me. So, how are gonna turn The Scream into a dance?"  Anastacia sees the way she dodges the question but decides not to question it because Iara can't suspect that she is actually here to gather information. She takes out a notebook from her backpack immediately turning it on.

"I researched about how to do things like this. Some people used Tomie Ohtake's sculptures and danced to it, there's two kinds of dances they did, one was literally doing the movements the sculptures had and the other was the feeling they gave off."  When she finishes the explanation she turns the screen showing a video of the dancers, Iara silently watches it while Anastacia spends the time analyzing the girl, when the video ends Iara turns to the cheerleader saying.

"Ok... I don't think we can dance the movements of the Scream...but how are gonna make grief a dance?" Anastacia furrows her brows and her head slightly turns to the side as she questions.

"The Scream is not about grief, it's clearly a panic attack. The way the clouds are red and the art style are all representations of how you feel in a panic attack." Anastacia puts a picture of the painting and points to it, she looks from Iara to the painting showing what she believes is untenable proof of the meaning The Scream has, Iara rubs her eyes amazed by the amount of arrogance this girl has, Iara counters trying to maintain her voice indifferent.

"I mean, it could be a panic attack caused by grief, and we have no proof that it's actually a panic attack, so it could be just a huge amount of grief, like this person just learned they lost everyone important in their life and that's the reaction they have." Anastacia scratches her neck, this could be a nice conversation to have if it wasn't with Iara, the cheerleader passes her hand through her hair and thinks about what Iara just said. She does have a point, there's no way to guarantee it was a panic attack or the reason for the panic attack, usually she would be happy to exchange view points, but she wants to make Iara say that she is right.

"How about this, we watch an analysis of the painting and whoever they say we are gonna believe, ok?" Anastacia smiles, if Iara agrees she already lost, she spent every free moment she had today watching and reading things about the painting. She won.

"Nah, we shouldn't just repeat what other people say, the point of art is that everyone has a different feeling about it isn't it?."

Anastacia hopes that her face doesn't show how much she wants to hit this girl's head against the table. She takes a big breath making Iara a little confused about why the cheerleader seems annoyed. Anastacia smiles and points to one of the closed doors.

"Could I use your bathroom? I would really appreciate changing clothes and taking a shower?"  Anastacia says with a gentle voice she is almost getting up while asking, but the immediate reaction from Iara makes the smile on her face fade instantly.

"No, you decided to come here like this, you could've changed clothes at your house." Iara shrugs and relaxes on the sofa, which makes Anastacia even angrier, she once again takes a deep breath and says.

"Iara, I just got out of practice and came here so we could do it the fastest way possible, now point me to the bathroom."

"You stink normally so it's fine, don't worry."

Iara's body jolts and she almost jumps from the couch when Anastacia's shrieks in a high pitched incomprehensible sound as she gets up and quickly gets up and moves to one of the rooms closing and locking the door behind her, thankfully, she got inside the bathroom because she can hear Iara trying to open the door, when she fails she starts hitting the door with her fists, her voice is a little muffled but Anastacia can hear the anger and confusion in her screams.

"Anastacia!! What the fuck? Did you seriously lock yourself in my bathroom? Get out! Now!" The cheerleader smiles looking at herself on Iara's mirror, she walk closer to the shower and before turning it on she screams back.

"Sorry, can't hear you, give me a second." She turns the shower on without actually getting in, but it does work the way intended, she can't hear Iara's voice anymore.

Anastacia looks around the bathroom, the embarrassment of her actions hitting her like a punch in the face but the happiness in making Iara angry make it a little bit better. She takes a moment to analyze everything, all the beauty products are off brand, but there's enough for more than one girl and for a man, so she knows that Iara's parents just weren't home, if she's being honest there's nothing really to learn about someone in their bathroom she actually just wanted to take a shower.

Iara: THE BITVCH ID IN MY BAHTROOm
L1ly: what
Iara: Anastacia
Iara: She wantedx toi take a shwoer I said no ad the mtohetrfucker ran there anc locked aherself inside and now she is takiings a shower
L1ly: but like she is just gonna take a shower not a big deal right but why did she need to take a shower??????????????????????
Iara: It is a big deal, GOD, who does thaat and she needed a shower because she fell in a pit of dogshit that bitch

Iara is pacing in her living room while typing everything to Lily, who's not being all that helpful but her anger is slowly decreasing, which is good, until she hits her foot in a backpack on the floor. She gets back her balance quickly looking at the unfamiliar bag, she finds a change of clothes and a keyring with a little pink bear in it. Iara's anger subsides as a malicious smile shows up on her face.

The shower feels great, Anastacia's body is so relaxed after it ends she takes a while to actually leave, she feels as light as a feather, moving slowly she covers her body with a towel and lets out a sigh as she goes to grab her clothes.

"Fucking hell... "

All the weight she wasn't feeling comes back twice as strong, her posture gets way more defeated, her face is burning up from embarrassment and shame, she spends a minute sending a prayer to god, she hopes that Iara was just joking and she is not actually angry or something, she walks closer to the door and says with a high pitched voice, trying her best to seem cute.

"Hey Iara... I forgot my bag in the living room... could you please bring it to me...?" The silence speaks volumes, she rubs her eyes trying to maintain her composure. She is about to ask again when she hears Iara's voice.

"Sure honey. You can come and get it, it's right here." Her voice sounds bubbly, Anastacia can feel the smile on her face as she says it. Anastacia slightly opens the door looking for the bag from the crack, she immediately notices Iara sitting on the coach staring at the bathroom, the backpack resting at her feet. Anastacia can see the malicious smile on Iara's face, her eyes shining with malicious intentions.

"Haha... Very funny Iara, give me my bag." Her voice goes back to normal and she can't hide her annoyance, Iara just smiles calmly, taking the backpack from the floor and putting it behind her on the couch.

"Just come and get it." Anastacia closes the door, sighing as she contemplates putting on her cheerleader uniform and walking there. She looks at herself in the mirror seeing how worried she is. She points at herself in the mirror with newfound determination and whispers to herself.

"I am not afraid, I was born to do this..." She stares at herself and the embarrassment loses a battle to the disappointment  "She said this when fighting a war, I don't deserve to use this line because I don't wanna walk to a bag."

She opens the door completely, the towel wrapped around her body, she walks with her head held up high making direct eye contact with Iara with a small smile on her face. Iara seems a little taken back with the way the cheerleader changed her demeanor, she gets distracted by some of the more voluptuous features of the cheerleader, the towel does not leave much for imagination, Iara's mouth opens on her own and for a second she feels lost for words, she composes herself and says while looking up at the blushed face of Anastacia.

"Does the church not teach you manners?" She holds the bag with one of her hands, keeping it far away from Anastacia.

"Did your parents not teach you manners?" Anastacia crosses her arms which makes Iara lose the train of thought she was having, feeling  like this plan is backfiring a little, she smiles once again trying to focus on the conversation when she says.

"Before I give you your bag, I want an apology." Anastacia lets out a small laugh but stops after Iara keeps a straight face, the cheerleader narrows her eyes and says slowly feeling like she is talking to a child.

"You can't possibly be this immature right? I can just go back and put on the clothes I was wearing." Iara shrugs looking at her with the same arrogance from the school.

"You can, but if you do I'm gonna throw this pair of clothes in the garbage."

The smile on Iara's face lasts for less than a second, because before she can look up at Anastacia the taller girl is already jumping on top of Iara, making the tattooed girl fallon her back against the couch, she hears the grunts as Anastacia tries to take the backpack, she feels the weight of Anastacia's body against hers and her own clothes getting wet from the towel.

"Very... Mature..." Iara manages to say while Anastacia tries to forcibly take the backpack from the strong grip Iara holds.

For a moment Anastacia's gaze leaves the backpack and looks Iara in the eyes. She remembers the very similar moment they had in the closet last week, the only difference is that this time Iara is not looking at her face, her gaze seems to be a little bit lower, Anastacia follows it seeing that the towel had abandoned her and the cold she was feeling was not only because of the shower, but because she pretty much is not wearing anything. Another high pitched scream leaves her body jumpscaring Iara again. She immediately jolts away from Iara covering herself from the best of her abilities, feeling the heat emanating from her face and blushing now more than ever. She looks up at Iara and says.

"You... saw it didn't you?" Iara doesn't answer it immediately, she is looking at the ceiling and finally holds up the backpack, Anastacia quickly grabs it running inside the bathroom again.

Five minutes have passed and no one of them has said a word to each other. Anastacia left the bathroom with fresh clothes, her face still burning red, sat down in front of her notebook and started reading an analysis about The Scream while Iara sat behind her in silence. When the article ends and Anastacia goes to another one still maintaining the silence, Iara decides to break the silence by cautiously saying.

"I mean... There's nothing wrong with piercings, I kinda like them"
