Asukem strolled through the city, observing the problems around him. However, he paid no attention; he was focused on his affairs. Suddenly, a young girl spotted Asukem and dashed towards him, screaming in fear, "Please help me! They're going to hurt me!" Then, he noticed two guards pursuing the little girl with fury and malice etched on their faces. Asukem attempted to disregard the situation and walked away from the commotion. Still, the guards stopped pursuing the girl and aimed their spears at Asukem, one of them commanding, "Step aside, Demon! or face death!"
Asukem's gaze shifts from the ground to the guards, his expression turning sinister as he locks eyes with them. His teeth are bared in a snarl, and a glint of demonic energy flickers in his eyes. The guards take a step back in fear, one of them pulling his companion away, muttering, "It's not worth it. Let's just keep patrolling." The other guard licks his lips, glaring at Asukem and warning, "This isn't the end, Demon!"
The guards departed, leaving Asukem and the little girl by themselves. The girl gazed up at Asukem, who was shielding her, and said, "Thanks, mister. They bully everyone here." Asukem rolled his eyes but growled calmly, "You're welcome." Placing his human hand on her head, a flash of an image of Isabella, his little sister, appeared to him, causing him to send a gentle smile across his face as he said, "Now go play and do try to stay out of their way, okay?" The little girl glanced around, saw it was safe, and ran off, but stopped and turned, saying, "I'll do my best, and thanks again, mister." She waved goodbye to Asukem, who waved back and watched her continue her day.
Asukem roamed the city, keeping an eye out for any new developments. Suddenly, he caught sight of Adam. Asukem approached Adam and noticed he was visiting a flower girl with black hair, with the right side of her bangs covering one eye. The girl was wearing a purplish robe and had a smile on her face every time Adam visited. As Asukem approached, he observed that the girl had blue eyes, freckles, dimples, and tan skin, giving her an exotic and youthful appearance despite being 20 years old.
The Girl and Adam were involved in a relationship. When Asukem approached them, the girl looked frightened. Adam noticed her expression, turned around, and saw it was Asukem. Surprisingly, he gasped and exclaimed, "Oh, Asukem!" Adam returned to the girl and tried reassuring her, saying, "It's okay, Zona. He is a friend." Zona sighed with relief and asked softly, sounding delightful, "What is he? I have never seen a race like his before." Asukem smiled and replied, "I am a sin kin, miss, a human still fighting against the demon trying to take over me."
Zona nods sympathetically, "That sounds like quite the challenge." Asukem chuckles and responds confidently, "It is indeed, but even if he tries to take control of me and shatter my spirit, my determination will remain unbroken." Zona beams and encourages him, "Hold on to that resolve, and you could become a revered figure one day, perhaps even a legendary hero." Asukem blushes and scratches the back of his head sheepishly. "I... I wish to return to my human form; I'm no hero." Zona laughs at his modesty and remarks, "Stay focused on your objective, and you might just become a hero and reclaim what you've lost." Asukem bows respectfully to Zona, "Thank you, Miss Zona, your kindness truly makes you a saint for lifting others up even when they're not feeling low."
Asukem approaches Adam and discreetly mentions, "I understand it's not my place, but a young girl requested my help to shield her from your guards. Maybe you should address the situation?" Adam responds with a grumble, "I will, thank you, but don't concern yourself with it at the moment, my friend." Asukem nods, pausing briefly when Adam refers to him as a friend. A spark ignites in Asukem's eyes as if he is embracing those words. "If you're handling it, then I will bid you farewell," Asukem declares before leaving.
Asukem turns to face Zona, offering another bow before speaking, "Lady Zona, it was a pleasure meeting you." Zona glances at Asukem, a blush creeping onto her cheeks as she remarks, "So honorable, much like Adam. They will make a formidable team one day." She bows towards him, placing a hand over her heart, "It was a pleasure meeting someone who may appear monstrous but is not." Suddenly, her eyes widened in shock as she gasped, "Oh, Great divines, that came out wrong." Asukem chuckles softly and reassures her, "No worries." With a wave goodbye to both of them, he walks off, disappearing into the bustling streets of Tradithia.
As Asukem strolled through the city, he found himself in good spirits. Despite the turmoil caused by the ongoing conflicts, he found moments of peace within the chaos. Taking a detour down a narrow alley, Asukem hoped to avoid any trouble, only to stumble upon a disturbing scene. Witnessing the same guards assaulting a man, Asukem hesitated to intervene until he recognized the voice of a child he had encountered earlier. The child's desperate cries for her father resonated with Asukem, prompting him to take action. "Stop! Daddy, no! Please stop! You're going to kill him!" the child pleaded, but one of the guards callously silenced her with a kick. "Shut up! This is what you get for bumping into us, Brat!" the guard sneered, revealing the harsh reality of the situation.
Asukem's eyes locked onto the man crawling towards him, blood dripping from his mouth as he whispered for help. Memories of his foster father, Bob, flashed through his mind, fueling his rage. With a fierce spark in his eyes, Asukem charged at the guard who had harmed the little girl. As he teleported in front of the guard, his demonic claw gripped the man's face, slamming him into the ground and creating a crater. The guard lay lifeless as Asukem turned his attention to the other guard, who stared at him in shock after witnessing the brutal scene.
Asukem's eyes bore into the other guard, freezing him in fear as he witnessed the genuine rage within them. Asukem's face was partially obscured by his hair, which he breathed heavily through while emitting low grunts. A single eye peered out from the white hair, now glowing red, as negative energies swirled around him, causing the wind to whip violently. The guard who had been assaulting the little girl's father attempted to draw his sword but stopped upon hearing Asukem's growl, "If you value your life, you will run." The guard hesitated, stepped back, then turned and fled in terror. He went to the high temple to inform his captain, Normand.
Asukem observed the man and his daughter. Despite their fearful expressions, Asukem couldn't tell if it was directed at the guards or himself. However, it was evident that the guards had triggered something within Asukem.
Asukem, an 18-year-old orphan from Rikros, is transformed into a sinkin by an evil demon who wields power to torment souls with her lust. Ah'keim, a powerful being with a mysterious ulterior motive, mentors him as he struggles to regain his humanity and undo the damage caused by the female demon. With the help of new friends who try to help him escape his fate as a sinkin, Asukem sets out to fight the void and gain control over his powers, all while seeking redemption for his past sins.
