Asukem's face was stung by the ocean's mist as the sky turned black and the wind intensified. The rain soaked him to the bone, dulling his sight, but he still managed to find the cavern. He had to venture deep within to escape the storm's effects.
The cavern was slowly being invaded by the ocean, rising to asukem's knees, yet stopping just short of going any higher. The darkness within the cavern was absolute, with no hint of light to guide the way. This heightened the urgency of the situation for asukem, who found himself blindly navigating further into the depths of the cavern. As a Sin kin, he possessed the ability to see in the dark, but inexplicably, he was unable to do so now. Asukem was left wondering what was unfolding around him, unsure if an ambush lay ahead.
Asukem ventured deeper into the cavern, straining to listen to his surroundings. However, even his keen wolf-like hearing seemed muffled, signaling that something was amiss. It was as if Asukem had suddenly lost his Sin kin abilities, reverting to a mere human. Frustrated, he let out a loud exclamation, as if trying to shatter the unsettling silence. "Just my luck," he muttered under his breath. Confused and feeling vulnerable, Asukem resorted to feeling his way around the cavern walls, a task he found irritating. This was the first time he felt so powerless. "This is ridiculous," he grumbled to himself. An unusual moment of weakness overcame him, prompting him to even attempt to communicate with the divine beings, a behavior that was completely out of character and only served to further infuriate him. In an attempt to regain control, he slapped himself, hoping to snap out of his disorientation.
Asukem was suddenly bathed in beams of light as he stood on the landing surrounded by water. There, he noticed a stand holding a fancy bottle filled with glowing liquid. Approaching the water's edge, he gazed into the reflection and was shocked to see his human form staring back at him - he was no longer a sin kin. Overwhelmed with conflicting emotions, Asukem's eyes welled up with tears of joy, only to be clouded by a sense of guilt and sadness. "I can't accept this, not now. I made a promise to the Siren girl and Gimp," he muttered, taking a deep breath of disappointment and sorrow before plunging into the pool to retrieve the flask. Returning to the other side, he sat at the corner of the pond, fixated on the mysterious flask.
Asukem observed the label on the vial, reading, "Healing elixir, capable of curing all ailments! Crafted by Felix the Kobold." Asukem's mind echoed with sinister whispers, urging him to consume it. "Drink it! Transform back into a human! Indulge your desires!" Yet, Asukem resisted the temptation, shaking his head firmly. "No, Asukem, resist this. Gimp requires assistance, that siren maiden requires aid." With a determined resolve, he slapped his cheeks and rose to journey back to the coastal village.
As Asukem got back on his feet he suddenly heard clicks and two arrows flew past his face. Asukem just yelled startled, "Shit!" the trap seemed to have been triggered. Two more arrows flew at Asukem itching away from his face. Again Asukem cursed and started to run. Asukem could easily hear the traps around him loud and clear and arrows thrown at him, it was complete chaos. It was like Felix never wanted someone or something to find or get this Potion of healing. Asukem continued to run for his life dodging and evading the storm of arrows, which barely missed him. For the first time, asukem was scared for his life he was weak the potion was keeping him in his human form. Not allowing him to turn back, for some reason. asukem even thought "This potion can be this strong can it?" it was like just holding it was affecting him.
Asukem sprinted on, desperate to escape, feeling panic rising within him. He stumbled and fell, narrowly avoiding more arrows. Suddenly, traps sprung up, spikes threatening to impale him. Gasping in terror, Asukem dodged the spikes, muttering, "By the great divines!" He scrambled to his feet, arrows ceasing their attack, only to hear a hissing sound - another trap, this time releasing poisonous gas. Asukem ran on, tearing his sleeve to cover his mouth and nose. Exhausted and overwhelmed in his human form, he pushed himself until he glimpsed sunlight. With a sigh of relief, he paused to catch his breath, whispering, "Almost there."
Asukem noticed two shadows looming over him, causing him to stop and catch his breath. He looked up and saw two siren figures blocking his path, but they were nothing like the girl. Irritated, he inquired, "What do you want?" Their only response was to assume fighting positions. Asukem sighed in frustration, "Great divines, I don't have the skills, the time, or the patience to deal with this."
He hurled the flask in frustration towards one of them. One of the figures caught it without knowing what it was, and suddenly something changed. Asukem realized his corrupt demonic arm had returned as he threw the flask, turning him into a sin kin once again. Letting out a surprised, cocky chuckle, he glared at the two figures, unsheathed his katana, and charged at them. With demonic speed, he teleported to one of them and struck them down.
As Asukem defeated one of the siren figures, the flask tumbled to the ground. He quickly retrieved it, and in an instant, he was transformed back into his human form. The expression on his face was a mix of astonishment and doubt as he gazed at the flask and questioned it, "Seriously?" The final Siren figure attempted to strike him, but Asukem filled with a surge of energy and deflected the attack. The clash of swords produced a loud clang, with sparks flying as the metal blades scraped against each other.
The siren figure's presence overwhelmed Asukem, indicating greater battle experience. Asukem glanced at the figure, then at the Flask, tossing it into the air and transforming into his sin kin form. The siren figure observed the flash, then Asukem, fear evident on his face. Asukem grinned, using Ah'keim's claw to stun the siren before slashing him with his katana. As the Flask descended, Asukem caught it and hurried on to the fishing village.
Asukem, an 18-year-old orphan from Rikros, is transformed into a sinkin by an evil demon who wields power to torment souls with her lust. Ah'keim, a powerful being with a mysterious ulterior motive, mentors him as he struggles to regain his humanity and undo the damage caused by the female demon. With the help of new friends who try to help him escape his fate as a sinkin, Asukem sets out to fight the void and gain control over his powers, all while seeking redemption for his past sins.
