Micah smiled at Jax lovingly. Ever since the car ride, Micah had been acting differently. It was the both type of different - good and bad. It was good since Micah was being nice, but bad because it was weird. Although Micah toned down a little bit at the hospital, the way he acted that day was too sweet. It was like he was possessed.

"Stop calling me baby please," Jax begged. "This isn't like you."

Micah leaned forward. They were sitting across each other in a private room in Micah's favorite restaurant. 

"Why isn't this like me? I'm like this towards my boyfriend," Micah said.

Jax cringed. "Micah, stop it."

Micah laughed and leaned on the back rest of his chair. "See? I told you that you'll be Sebastian's crush but Micah's boyfriend."

That day was when Jax fully realized that Micah really didn't want anyone and anything to harm his career. He could do anything just for it.

"If we only act as boyfriends in front of other people, it will come off as awkward. You know, there are people who have hawk eyes. It's best to act as boyfriends all the time so that we get used to it," Micah explained.

Micah's smile dropped. "Why? Are you worried about your dear Sebby?"

The change in Micah's tone was very obvious. MicJax being real boyfriends would put an end to Sebastian's efforts. But if Sebastian knew that it was just fan service, he would keep on pursuing Jax and one of these days, the fans would catch on. Micah couldn't risk that.

"I'm just asking. He didn't even cross my mind," Jax said. Noticing that Micah didn't accept his explanation, Jax added, "Baby..." 

Micah instantly smiled. "Okay."

"Baby," Jax corrected himself. "I know that I'm supposed to follow your lead since you know how this works more than me. But can I ask you for a little bit of favor?"

Jax paused for a moment, thinking of a way to say things nicely. When Micah kissed him last night, it wasn't consensual. And though scenes like that seemed romantic on tv, it wasn't in reality.

"You're a good kisser," Jax began.

"I know. Isn't that why you always moan when we have kissing scenes in our series?" Micah smirked.

Jax gave him a sheepish smile. "Yeah, but you know, let's not overdo it while we do this fan service."

Micah frowned. "Why not? Kissing is what couples do. That's a way for us to prove that we're really dating."

Jax noticed that Micah was starting to suspect what he was trying to suggest. He had to find a way to make Micah believe that he was still onboard his plan.

Micah's expression softened. The word baby seemed to do the trick.

Jax nodded. "Yes, lovingly. Not out of anger, jealousy, or lust. Just lovingly. Because if we don't do it lovingly, the hawk-eyed fans will catch on right away."

Micah thought for a moment and agreed with Jax. "Alright." Micah stood up from his seat, leaned towards Jax, and planted a forehead kiss. He smiled. "This is okay, right?"

Jax looked at him for a second before he stuttered, "Y-Yeah."

The moment when Micah kissed Jax's forehead, the server had arrived with the food. After that, the two began eating. Micah suggested that they get to know each other better so they don't look like ignorant fools during interviews. They knew that their companies would release a statement about their being a couple within the day. Preparing for the conference by knowing each other more was their plan.

While they were trying to get to know each other, the news about their dating was spreading on social media. But it wasn't because of their companies' confirmation. It was because of the post of the server who witnessed the kiss.
