"Bish! We did it" Davin whispered into his ear. "We actually found some hot-ass men."
Percy laughed. "Yes, yes we did."
"You two know each other?" The alpha asked, seeming a bit surprised.
Percy nodded. "Yep."
"We're besties since diapers" Davin continued.
"What a coincidence. Isn't that right, Alpha?" Craig questioned his own best friend.
Davin couldn't help but let out a surprised gasp. "Alpha? Like, the alpha of a pack?"
The alpha shook his head, smiling. "You two are something. I can see you grew together" he chuckled. "And to answer your question, yes, I am the alpha of the pack and Craig here is my own best friend and my beta."
Davin bit his lip as he looked at the mentioned beta. "Wow.."
"So.." Percy drew their attention. The three turned to look at him. "We all like each other? Cause if we do, that would be good."
The alpha chuckled. "And why's that."
"Um.. well, we have something in common."
"Like..?" He pushed.
Percy rolled his eyes but answered. "We are besties, and we have a good taste."
"Complimenting ourselves I see."
"Nothing bad will come from it."
As they kept at their awful flirting, they approached closer and closer to each other. In the meantime, the other two just stared, not knowing if to laugh or to say something.
Finally, Craig decided to intervene. "Wow, you guys are all lovey dovey like you knew each other since forever."
Percy and Enzo seemed to come back down from where they were up there in the clouds.
Percy stared at the alpha, tilting his head to the side. A smile spread on his lips. "Maybe we had in our past lives" he husked in a silvery voice.
The alpha could feel himself almost drowning in his light, sandy brown eyes that seemed to sparkle. Before he jumped at the boy, he decided to break that tension. "Ahem! Well... We do kinda match."
"Yep."
"I think we should all sit together and talk. Get to know eachother and that.." Davin suggested.
Percy nodded. "Agreed."
"I think so too." The alpha said. "But let's do this over dinner."
Once it was all settled, they decided to enjoy their morning. The alpha and his beta led the two boys –that had their arms linked together– to the big garden that viewed the enormous surroundings of the woods, the faraway mountains, and they even could see the sky that seemed to have no end.
The garden was a vast, lush expanse, teeming with vibrant flowers and towering trees. The scent of blossoms filled the air, and birds chirped melodiously from their perches. It was a peaceful, almost magical place that seemed worlds apart from their home that was within the loud city. The boys were stunned.
As they walked, the alpha pointed out various features of the garden, explaining its history and the care that went into maintaining it. Percy and Davin listened intently, their eyes wide with wonder.
