Going to the venue, Jax felt a little nervous. He was going to meet Sebastian again. Sebastian had not contacted him ever since he rejected Sebastian's confession. Meeting him there would be awkward. Jax stayed up the whole night thinking of what to say. But nothing was good enough.

His worries were ungrounded though because Sebastian just acted as if the confession enver happened.

"That black tux fits you so well," Sebastian commented.

Jax would've normally joked as a response, but he couldn't do it at that time. So he just replied with a simple thank you.

"Wow," Sebastian remarked, noticing the formality in Jax's behavior. "Are you really Jax? You're too proud of your beauty to just say thank you."

Jax gave him a pursed smile. A third person joined in their conversation.

"Hello, baby," Micah said, planting a kiss on Jax's forehead.

Jax noticed the millisecond shift in Sebastian's facial expression. This was instantly replaced with a smile.

"The two lovebirds are here," Sebastian said. "Mr. Micah, you're very lucky that you got Jax. You scored a great boyfriend, sir."

Sebastian had a smile on his face, but Jax knew that smile all too well. It was the same smile he gave to Micah before when he was uncomfortable.

Micah pulled Jax closer to him. "Not to brag, but he's the one who's lucky to have me. Well, that's what he said when he confessed on the night of the video of us kissing got around social media. He said that he was inspired by something to finally confess his feelings." He chuckled.

Micah was referring to Sebastian's confession as the inspiration. He wanted Sebastian to feel hurt and somehow betrayed as much as he could, so he would finally see himself out of their lives. But Sebastian was being so agreeable that Micah thought there was actually no need for him to do that. 

After spending a few more minutes with them, Sebastian went to another group.

"We're finally getting our happily ever after, baby," Micah said, alluding to how Sebastian wasn't trying to do anything.

Jax smiled. Micah then led him to other people. They always stuck together. Although Jax had conversed with many people and the music was getting louder, a nagging thought still played the loudest at the back of his mind. He had to have a talk with Sebastian. He couldn't just pretend that nothing was wrong. Sebastian was his friend his little brother in the industry, and he deserved a proper closure.

While talking with the production team, Micah saw Jax and Sebastian heading to the balcony. He immediately excused himself and followed them. He stayed in a blind spot, a place where he could hear and see them clearly but they couldn't.

"What is it, Jax? We can always talk there. There's no need to come here for a conversation," Sebastian said.

Micah frowned. So it was Jax who initiated this.

Sebastian smiled. "What heart-to-heart talk are you talking about?"

 

Maintaining his smile, Sebastian asked, "Why? Do you want to apologize for rejecting me? Jax, talking about that will only reopen wounds. You don't have to worry about me. I'm fully accepting your relationship with Micah."

Jax knew that it was only right for Sebastian to avoid the topic. If he were in his place, he, too, would be too hurt to think about it. But Jax wanted Sebastian to at least release his pent-up feelings. 

"I'm sorry." Jax looked at the floor. 

"Since you really want to talk about, then let's do it. Let me ask the questions. In our very first interview, during the premiere of the first episode of our first series, you talked about how your ideal lover is a kind and gentle person. I didn't know I had feelings for you then, but I thinking about it now, I was crazy over you. I tried to be that kind and gentle person so you'd look at me in a positive light. But why are you dating Mr. Micah?" 

Micah rolled his eyes. He liked hearing Sebastian being stressed over why he was not chosen even though he tried his best to fit Jax's ideal type. But it somehow annoyed him how he, too, didn't fit Jax's ideal type.

"Micah is very kind, Seb." Not wanting to lie, Jax focused on the good things that Micah did for him. "He guided me a lot during filming."

"That's all? Wasn't I there, too, Jax? Wasn't I the one who comforted you when there was a thunderstorm during filming because you're scared of thunder claps? Wasn't I the one who ran errands for you? Wasn't I the one who let you call me by my name right away?" Sebastian paused for a moment to breathe. "See? This is why I don't want to talk about it. It'll always go against my favor."

Sebastian held Jax's shoulders. "Jax, if I could, I would've kidnapped you and locked you up a long time ago. You know, like what my character in our series did. That would be convenient. But I don't want to just have you by my side. I want to have you by my side while you love me. And if I do that, you certainly won't like it." Sebastian began to sob. "Jax, if he ever breaks your heart, I'll do whatever it takes to make you mine. Whatever it takes. I won't be the second lead again."

Jax somehow regretted having a talk with Sebastian. He should've listened to Sebastian when he said he didn't want to talk about. Sure, they were friends and it was a friend's job to comfort. But how could a friend comfort when the reason for the need of comfort is the friend himself? He didn't know what to say.

Micah crossed his arms. He didn't like how the conversation was leaning onto Sebastian's perspective. He was planning to come out and show Sebastian that it would never happen. Micah promised himself that he wouldn't rebuild a new dynasty - it was too much work.

Just as Micah was about to step out, Jax spoke.

Sebastian wiped his tears and smiled. "You've really got your way with words. Well, as much as I'd like to leave your side, you're just too magnetic."

Jax smiled back. "But don't be too magnetized because my heart can only handle one person. And I've already got my baby."

Sebastian acted like eh was about to puke. "So you call each other baby. Once I find a boyfriend, I'll make sure to that we won't call each other by anything cringe-y like that." He laughed.

The two friends continued to talk, and Micah was satisfied with it. He took a sip of the win and headed back to the directors with a relaxed state of mind. But Micah should've taken what Sebastian into heart. When he said that he would do whatever it took to make Jax his once he found out that Micah hurt him, he truly meant it.
