That night every graduate from Golden Knight High School was gathered in a restaurant. Some were happy to see each other, some were regretting coming there as it reminded them of their horrible memories and some were there for free booze. 

Henry arrived early than his friends, he was just sitting in a corner slowly chucking wine waiting for his friends to come so that he doesn’t feel out of place, it was not that Henry was unsociable, he did like to talk to new people, it’s just that no one wanted to befriend him since kindergarten because he looked timid and boring to everyone. People did talk to him for work and stick around him shortly for a while but would go away eventually; the only ones who stuck around were Liam and Ava.

Suddenly the group sitting next to the table of henry started talking about Ava. Those guys did not notice Henry or they would have shut up because they knew that Henry was Ava's bestfriend. 

Guy 1: Dude was she hard to get. 

Guy 2: Yeah man she always had a wall up around her.

Girl 1: I think she was good around girls.

Guy 1: Ha! I knew she was a lesbian.

Girl 1: No I think she also goes with guys I heard she was pansexual or something.

Guy 1: And how do you know this stuff?

Girl 1: Girls just know this stuff okay!

This made henry curious and angry at the same time. He was curious because he did not know about Ava's dating life because she was very secretive about it despite them being friends from childhood and he was also angry because how can those random people gossip about Ava like that? So Henry said in anger.

"Is someone else's dating life that much interesting for you?"

Everyone looked at Henry and stopped talking.

 Guy 2: Yeah man! Sorry we took it too far. We shouldn’t be talking about Ava like that.

Guy 1: Well you were close to both of the super stars in our school so how was it being a lackey of both of them.

This “Guy 1” was a total jerk he was always jealous of Liam and he also tried to ask Ava out but she turned him down saying that he was too much of a proud person to be with, so this experience made Henry ultimately this guy's enemy.

Ava: He was never a lackey. 

Henry looked back Ava was standing there.  Ava stared at that guy and suddenly everyone else settled down as if cat got their tongue. 

Ava set beside Henry.

Ava: You look tired, Henry. I think you have drank too much.

Henry: I’m okay.

Henry didn’t want the question to slip from his mind so he asked Ava 

“What is your type Ava?"

Ava was confused as to what Henry said so she asked "what?" 

Henry:  You have always been so secretive about these things and I just realized that despite bieng with you for so much time I still don't know anything about you.

 Ava was little shocked at his question but she smiled from heart and said “Guess”

This made Henry blush a little because even though he liked Liam but which man could resist Ava’s charms. 

Henry: I don’t know, you seem to go with both guys and girls.

Ava laughed and said: I just go with whoever attracts me
