It was too much for Henry. None of this felt real and a part of him wished it was a dream he would never wake from.
Liam leaned in, stealing his breath and for a moment Henry forgot where he was. His knees felt weak, his thoughts scattered. When he finally pulled back to breathe, Liam paused, studying his face as if searching for permission.
“Would you come with me?” Liam asked softly.
Henry already knew the answer before he nodded.
The motel room felt smaller the moment the door closed behind them. The air was thick and Liam’s hands were warm, grounding which made Henry’s racing thoughts slowly quite down.
When Liam kissed him again, it was slower this time and Henry let himself melt into it. Fear and desire tangled together until he could no longer tell them apart. They spent the night together.
Later, Henry lay awake for a moment, he was gazing at Liam who was sleeping soundly beside him. Henry's emotions, thoughts, feelings everything was swirling around him. He could not tell reality from imagination. He was having a hard time believing that he slept with Liam, the wish he had for so long time had been turn into reality. But what was Liam thinking? how he would react in the morning? Why now of all time? What was in Liam's mind? Henry was happy for what had happened but he was scared for what was going to happen tommorrow.
