The not so kind cheerleader

Sorrow

Sorrow

Jul 22, 2024

When the cheerleader finally had time to process everything that transpired, tears immediately started welling up in her eyes, after quickly wiping them away, Anastacia put a hand on her chest trying to regulate her breathing. She took deep breaths but it's never enough, in a whisper she finally admits it to herself.

"I kissed a girl. I kissed a girl. I need to repent. But I... "She trails off, not having the courage to say out loud that she doesn't want to repent, when they got interrupted she didn't want to stop, and she still doesn't.

She paces around the room, trying her best to bottle up her feelings, her hand slowly moving from her chest to her stomach, she can feel the disgust from her mind finding some physician representation, the nausea she feels quickly makes her presence known when Anastacia gags, trying to stop herself from throwing up, she straightens her back regulates her breathing and begins looking for her bible.

"God abandoned them to their shameful desires, even the women turned against the natural way and instead indulged in sex with each other." She murmurs over and over again while finally finding the bible.

The next two hours are spent with Anastacia trying to reconnect with the holy spirit, she doesn't feel it, but she still tries, taking notes of everything she finds important, asking for forgiveness, blaming the alcohol, Iara, the devil, herself, Iara again. She had a lot of time to think and she decided that there is no point in indulging in these wicked desires, not only are they disgusting but if her father knew he would disown her.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Anastacia realizes that she made a mistake, but that doesn't define her, she can change, she can do better, yeah that makes sense, she was just pent up and needed some action, right? After washing her face she finds herself relaxing, all she needs is to stop, everybody makes mistakes, all she needs is to not follow them.

"Avoid the root of sin, find the right road, and..." Her eyes travel down to her neck, the horror of seeing her skin in a red purplish tone on the neck, "that bitch gave me a hickey!"

Once again the cheerleader wishes she could go back in time, this time she wants to go back to Iara's house and punch her. Deciding not to commit two sins in the same day she simply spends the next minutes trying to find a way to get that off her neck, putting some of the lotion and hoping it works overnight.

Anastacia sits on the bed, after some of the worst hours of her life she feels like she earned the tiniest amount of happiness she can get, opening her notebook she is immediately greeted with the video of their dance and the memories of Iara's hands exploring her body, ignoring the excitement she feels with these memories she immediately finds the movie Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. She can always believe in this film to show her good characters, great dances and a sweet ending.

After finishing the film, Anastacia hates Iara even more, she somehow managed to ruin her perception of her favorite movie, the plot is eerily similar to her life, a sharp witted person fights the cheerleader of an elite school, and maybe it's because they just had a different kind of encounter but she felt that the relationship between the main characters had way more sexual tension than she remembered.

Closing the notebook and checking her phone one last time, she decides it's best to just sleep through these thoughts. When she kneels in bed to pray, the only request she has for God, besides forgiveness, is to take her mind away from Iara.

She dreams of Iara in a cheerleading outfit in a competition against Saint Damian, but she ignores that side of herself when she wakes up, it's a new day, and this is the perfect beginning to a new life. After a long cold shower, she straightens her hair, covers the hickey with foundation, and decides to have a simple look for school today. The only makeup she does is a simple eyeliner, highlighter and blush, trying to leave the house as fast as she can she skips breakfast stopping at the her sidewalk and waiting for Carol to pick her up, seeing her friend getting close makes her remember why she has to do better, when Carol's car stops and she lowers her yellow sunglasses saying.

"Hey there sugarbear, wanna a ride?"

"Only if you play careless whispers!" Anastacia says as she gets inside the car, ignoring Carol's complaints and searching for the music on the screen, once or twice on the car she wonders what happened with Iara when she left, thankfully Carol is a great distraction and the road to school is filled with happiness.

When Anastacia left Iara only watched with a puzzled expression she didn't really know what to feel, and she is way more inebriated than necessary to actually figure out what happened, Lily is already inside the house saying something that Iara doesn't hear because she is too focused on trying to find her phone, after finding it on table and struggling to get her password right she reads Anastacia's text.

You tell ANYONE about this and I will personally find a way to legally banish you from school.

"She talks like an evil wizard," Lily says looking over her friend's shoulder making Iara immediately drop her phone way more startled than what the other girl expected, when Lily furrows her brows at the reaction it makes Iara sigh as she scratches the back of her head thinking of something.

"Yeah... yo— are you ok?" Her voice sounds shaky and unsure, almost announcing to the world that she is hiding something, she now wishes she were sober enough to come up with a convincing lie.

"Alright, what happened? Did she find out you were lying about her and you kicked her ass?" A small smile shows up on Iara's face as she realizes they were in a different kind of fight.

"Pretty much like that yeah, yeah, she didn't find out about the plan tho so it's all good... are we good?"

Lily stares back at Iara, their eyes meeting as the latter lazily moves in the couch trying to find a perfect position. Lily wanted to explain her side, hear Iara's and trade apologies, at the end they skipped something she thinks is important but as she sees the shy smile on the face of her friend she rolls her eyes before saying.

"Of course, but only if you take away my clothes and show me the dance moves you learned, ok?" she sits down on the couch seeing her friend laugh and move closer to her, Iara sits down putting one hand on Lily's waist and whispering in her ear.

"I can think of something way better to do after I take off your clothes"

Lily puts one hand on Iara's chest turning to face her friend, she can see the malicious grin, the flushed face and the way her eyes don't hide her desire as they look at Lily's lips, she already knows what Iara wants, she moves closer almost locking lips with Iara.

Not hiding her excitement, Lily says with a smile, "Then please, show me the moves"

It feels like her head is about to explode, the pain being sharp and continuous, everything is so dark but somehow the room is spinning and there's a weight on top of her, she immediately holds the girl in a panicked state, feeling a little better when she sees the familiar face of Lily on her arms, she had a terrible dream where she was kissing Anastacia.

Leaving Lily behind as she gets up is really simple, the other girl could sleep thought an earthquake, finding the bathroom is surprisingly hard, she tries to contain her nausea and move to the pitch black house, when she finally manages to turn the light some memories of the last night finally start to come back, she remembers kissing Anastacia, kissing Lily, doing much more with Lily, than going back to Anastacia after, without being able to discern which of those are reality she washes her face deciding to simply ask the cheerleader. There's no reason to beat around the bush and be confused.

"God, it 's so bright." She murmurs to herself while covering her face from the light of the phone and taking it off from the charger.

She doesn't remember putting it there, nor she remembers washing the dishes, but she remembers kissing Anastacia in the couch, but she also remembers doing the same on the bed, but she remembers as Anastacia left the house, ignoring the pain behind her eyes she sits down on the couch finding Anastacia's number and reading a confusing message from her.

"Ok so maybe we did fuck...? But if we did do that Lily would realize and she would never let me live it down, and Anastacia is like, competitive homophobic isn't she? I'm never drinking again."

Sighing, she begins to write a text to the cheerleader, trying to find a way to word out the question "Did we have sex yesterday?" without coming out too strong. Deciding to think it through the morning, she starts to make breakfast for the two, the whole time she is regretting every action she took yesterday, the ones she remembers and especially the ones she doesn't.

After twenty minutes working she finishes a very simple breakfast, coffee and a simple sandwich, she didn't get much time to think about what she had done, or at least what she wanted to do, as the sun rises Iara finally managed to wake Lily up, the other girl yawns and before she can say anything Iara is already asking with a rushed voice and worried look.

"Did Anastacia say anything to you? Like did it seem like something happened? What do you know?" Lily blinks rapidly, physically moving away trying to understand what Iara is saying, she loses herself for a moment looking at Iara's body, but when she is shaken by the older girl her eyes dart up again.

"W-what? No... no I don't think so, you were drunk and Anastacia was being a bitch like usual, and it's not nice to sleep with a girl and then talk about another one, it hurts my fragile little feelings." She does a little pout, crossing her arms around her chest making Iara roll her eyes.

"I'm serious, I had a weird dream where I was kissing Anastacia, and it felt really real, did you see anything weird?" when Lily bursts out laughing loudly, Iara regrets saying something to her, her head hurting a little more.

"It's too early for this! Anastacia kissing you? Oh honey was fucking me that good that you thought I was a cheerleader? You can call me Anastacia next time, maybe I can wear a wi—" Her voice gets interrupted by Iara's hand covering Lily's mouth.

The sarcasm coming from Lily is at least a bit off a confirmation that probably nothing has happened, because if something had happened Lily would not shut up about it. The older girl lowers her head covering her face with both hands trying unsuccessfully to remember the other night.
