As they were eating they ran into “Guy 1” from the get together (see episode 3). 

Guy: oh if it isn’t Mr. Perfect and his cutie pie friend from high school.

Liam always felt bad for this guy as he always knew that how much this guy tried to beat him but he was never enough to reach his level, Liam pitied him. On the other hand Henry doesn’t remember much about him from high school but he did remember this guy’s conversation about Ava in get together.

Liam: Hello! Thomas.

Thomas: Hy Liam, so what are you two doing here, dating?

Henry should have felt excited or something but he felt grossed because it was coming from this jerk’s mouth.

Liam: none of your business.

Thomas: Oh you know you're gay and hanging out with a guy so I thought …

Liam: just because I’m gay doesn’t mean every guy I hang out with is my boyfriend.

This statement made Henry uneasy and hurt. He knew that Liam was just trying to get Thomas out of their hair but it was still about them.

Thomas: okay dude! Calm down I'm not gonna bite you. Mind if I sit.

He sat down just telling this and not asking. It was clear that Thomas wanted to pick a bone with Liam.

Thomas: so I don’t see Ava around here. Is she alright. You two didn’t dump her did you?

Henry saw Liam’s expression; he knew that Liam was about burst so he said: “She wanted to come but she didn’t because she had a group project to do”

Thomas: Aww too bad this night would’ve been a little more fantastic if she was here. Anyways how’s college going?

Henry: oh it’s going just fine.

Thomas: good you should really get good grades because you know how hard your besties worked to get you in college.

This comment of Thomas had a sarcastic undertone not that Henry minded this but he was too much worried about Liam losing his anger.

Liam mumbled: why do you care?

Thomas: sorry what did you say?

Liam: I said why do you care about our friend group so much? Is it because Ava rejected you? Or is it because you could never catch up to me?

Thomas: why you scum!

Liam stood up, his height and big stature put distress on Thomas’s face,

Liam: get up Henry we’re going.

Henry grabbed his bag and went with Liam. Thomas was left behind biting his own lips and feeling anger “O I’ll get back to you Liam Smith just you wait” he mumbled these words along with clenching his hands.

Liam was walking fast, he was pissed about things that Thomas said, he couldn’t figure out which of Thomas’s comments made Liam angry, for a moment he forgot Henry right beside him.

Henry kept calling Liam’s name continuously, this annoyed Liam, and Liam shouted at Henry “what” his sound was heard by all of the strangers passing by, he looked at Henry and he was terrified.
