Ajax was unsure if it was true that he could recover back to full health but...

 

     "Is this thing really legit?" He asked desperately at the screen panel. "It is a game right?"

     [RECOVERY QUEST HAS BEEN ASSIGNED]

     Ajax oogled the screen in eager anticipation.

     [TYPE: QUEST (MAIN)]

     [INFO: JOURNEY TO THE LAND OF HEALTH <MEDIAS> AND RETRIEVE THE HERB OF FULL RECOVERY]

      [TIME LIMIT: 20 MINUTES]

      [NUMBER OF TRIES: 3]

     "Huh?" Ajax scratched his head and hissed loudly. "Are you kidding me right now, I can't even move and you are telling me to journey to some place I have not even heard of? Here I was believing in this nonsense!"

     But he could not throw away the fact that it might be real and if it was indeed a prank he might has well play along. What did he have to— lose?

     [DO YOU ACCEPT QUEST?]

    In that moment of his unfailing decision his eyes were opened up to a new possibility beyond his own recognition . His lips parted and gave rise to speech.

     "Yes ple—"

     BLIP!

     Suddenly everything went— dark. Ajax started to panic, "Who turned out the lights!?" There was a low whooshing sound like a stream of water flowing and them and explosion of billions of multicoloured light blew the world apart.

     He screamed out of fright and tried to move his body but because of his cybernetic impalnts his body did not seem to move.

     [PREPARE YOURSELF...]

     "What?" Ajax stared at the screen before him. "What do you mean prepare myself? What have you done to me? Kidnappers! Heeeeelp!"

    [PLEASE CALM YOUR NERVES...]

     [THIS IS JUST A SIMPLE WARP JUMP!]

     "I am calling my lawyer on you if I ever get out, please let me out! Please!"

     He continued to wail for what seemed like minutes with no stop to the shooting lights until. The lights vanished and he fell on the cold hard ground. His back hurt greatly causing him to scream from the agony, he had never felt anything like it before.

     The pain leaving him in deep— anguish for a few minutes before his head started to settle.

     The familiar screen materialized before him in it's hold lettes.

     [WARP JUMP HAS BEEN CONCLUDED]

     [ARRIVAL ON LAND OF HEALTH <MEDIAS>- SUCCESSFUL]

     [PROCEED WITH THE QUEST]

     [THE TIMER HAS BEGUN]

     Ajax was perplexed as to what was happening, he wished whatever the system was— came with a manual. But all he had was a rollercoaster of noise that gave him countless confusing.

     His eyes carefully examined the roof for the first time since he has hit the ground. He was confused as to why the hospital was now in a cave setting. Yes!— It was a cave roof with it's rough edges. Hanging from it were what looked like crystals glowing a luminous blue light, there were hundreds of them.

     "Wh-- where am I?" He asked again. It was clear that he was no longer in the hospital, this was somewhere else entirely. He considered the fact that it might be the land of health but how was that possible? There was no way a human being like him could just fall into an explosion of light and appear in soke remote place somewhere— only God knew where.

     "Haha, very funny. Alright doctor, I'm done. So quit playing." He screamed to the wind but— there was no reply. "C'mon guys, I mean I!" Again— utter silence.

     Feeling enraged her pushed himself up but ended up screaming. "My baaaaack!!" Something was wrong with his back, it felt hollow. He reached out his right hand to feel what the problem was but— it felt numb. He used his other hand and managed to reach his back!

     That was when he felt it— at the middle of his back where his spine should have been was a long hole. His spine had been removed from him. His first thought was that the doctor had done it.

     Still unsure of himself he looked at his other arm to find that the lower half was missing. The cybernetic implants was— gone too.

     "Ve-- very funny doctor." He tried to suppress the scream that was gradually climbing up it's way to climax. "Doctor? Anybody!"

     There was a beep!

     Then a display!

     "What?!"

     "What?" All the noise that he had been keeping locked in— escaped at that moment. "WHAT THE HEEEEEEEEELLLL!!"
