The morning after the warehouse fight dawns grey and drizzly, matching Jae-hoon's mood perfectly. He arrives at school early, hoping to avoid the inevitable stares and whispers. But as he approaches the gates, he realizes his hopes are in vain.

"Dude!" It's Jin-ho, his eyes wide with a mix of awe and fear. "You're like, a legend now! Everyone's talking about how you destroyed Sung-min!"

Jae-hoon shrugs off his hand. "Not now, Jin-ho."

But Jin-ho persists, falling into step beside him. "Seriously, where did you learn to fight like that? It was like something out of an action movie!"

Before Jae-hoon can respond, a hush falls over the crowd. He looks up to see Min-seo standing in his path, her arms crossed, her expression unreadable.

"We need to talk," she says quietly.

Jae-hoon nods, following her to a secluded corner of the schoolyard. For a long moment, they stand in silence, the weight of unspoken questions hanging between them.

Finally, Min-seo speaks. "Who are you, really?"

Jae-hoon takes a deep breath. He knows he owes her the truth, or at least part of it. But before he can answer, a commotion erupts near the school entrance.

They rush over to find Sung-min's gang surrounding a group of younger students. Sung-min himself is notably absent, but his second-in-command, the shaved-head boy from the convenience store confrontation, seems to be calling the shots.

"Listen up, you little rats," he snarls. "Your buddy Kim might think he's tough, but this is still our school. Anyone caught talking to him or helping him... well, let's just say you'll regret it."

Jae-hoon's fists clench at his sides. This is exactly what he was afraid of – innocent students getting caught in the crossfire of his actions.

Min-seo steps forward, her voice ringing out clear and strong. "Back off, Tae-jun. You don't get to threaten people."

Tae-jun's eyes narrow as he spots her. "Well, if it isn't Kim's little girlfriend. You should be careful, sweetheart. Accidents happen all the time in this city."

Something snaps inside Jae-hoon. In an instant, he's between Min-seo and Tae-jun, his voice low and dangerous. "Touch her, or anyone else in this school, and you'll wish you were dealing with Sung-min instead of me."

The air crackles with tension. Students gather around, phones out, ready to capture whatever happens next.

Tae-jun sneers, but there's a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. "You think you're so tough because you got lucky once? Trust me, Kim. This isn't over. Sung-min's family... they've got connections you can't even imagine. You've made some very powerful enemies."

With that, he and his gang slink away, leaving a wake of whispers and nervous glances.

Jae-hoon turns to find Min-seo staring at him, her expression a mix of gratitude and frustration.

"You didn't have to do that," she says.

"Yes, I did," Jae-hoon replies simply.

Min-seo shakes her head. "This is exactly what I was afraid of. You've painted a target on your back, Jae-hoon. On all of our backs."

"I know," he says, running a hand through his hair. "And I'm sorry. But I couldn't just stand by and let them terrorize everyone."

Min-seo's expression softens slightly. "I get it. I do. But Jae-hoon... we can't keep doing this dance. If we're going to face this together, I need to know who you really are. No more secrets."

Jae-hoon nods slowly. "You're right. Meet me after school. I'll tell you everything."
