She looked around, seeing the kitchen in utter shambles. Cobwebs and dust covered the surfaces and corners. It was clear that the kitchen was not in use, perhaps Aiko ate out often or in his friends homes.
In his own words, Aiko had better things to do than to clean his room like any other normal human being.
I can’t just sit somewhere when the house looks like this.
She walked around, feeling the wooden floor with her bare feet. She discovered a water pump, and as she pushed on it, water poured out of the large facet. She was used to using it, having one in Lord Yuka’s home.
The kitchen was quite large, with a wall of pantries on one side, and tables on the other, and in the middle, a large wooden stove. She looked through the pantries, seeing pieces of wood, pots, pans, some rags, and a few untouched cooking ingredients.
Aiko clearly did not do any kind of cooking. She wondered again if he ate elsewhere, or if he even visited home besides to sleep.
She took out the rags, and filled the large sink with more water after pumping it out from the ground below. Then, she began cleaning, after soaking the rags with water, hoping that would at least help with the dust.
She started with the kitchen, cleaning the surfaces of the tables, and the floor. She decided then to do the hallway, kneeling on the ground, she pushed the rags against the floor quickly, and then turned them out. Next she did the private dining room, which sat next to the kitchen, which was completely empty, and surprisingly clean. Though, it smelt badly, she thought perhaps to open all the windows when evening came.
