Arthur's P. O. V

...

"Dad" I said, clenching my fist and William blinked, looking at him before looking at me again.

"W-why do I s-see an older version of you?? Arthur, am I hal-hallucinating?" He asked in confusion, furrowing his brows

"What do you want?" I asked coldly and he eyed William with an unknown expression.

"I heard that you got married" He said and I sighed while William poked my cheeks

"Who's this?" William asked, continuing to poke my cheeks. Instead of being annoyed, I was kind of amused at his childish behaviour

"Arthur, answer m-me or, or I'll cryyy!! " He whined before pouting

"It's my dad, William"I replied softly and he blinked before narrowing his eyes, turning to glare at my dad.

"Y-you, you asshole!! Yo-you're the worst father someone could as-ask for!! Arthur is so sweet and lovely. How c-could you think so low of him? Arthur is someone kind and I-I love him v-very much but you hurt him!! I-I don't like you because you hurt him" William rambled before hiccuping at the end while I froze.

My heart beat quickened and I turned to look at him in shock

"What?" I whispered and William blinked, licking his lips

"What?" He asked in confusion and I bit my lips as my heart continued to pound harder

"I see you're busy, I'll see you another time" Dad said with a small smile before walking away but my attention was on William

"You love me?" I whispered in disbelief and he furrowed his brows

"I love you?" he questioned to himself and I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath

Calm down Arthur, he's under the influence of alcohol. It's okay, he'll say it one day when he's sober

I thought

I re-opened my eyes and caught him stare at me in deep thoughts

"Never mind love, come on, let's get you home"

Back to present

......

I still haven't seen dad again and I don't know what he wanted. To be honest, I don't want to know either.

Right now, taking care of William was important.

A phone call then interrupted my useless thoughts

"Yes?" I asked

It was about meetings and I had to leave for a week. I tried to say no but...turns out I can't.

A sulky William arrived and I chuckled in amusement because the puppies were following him. 

Snow then bit William's shin making him yelp.

"Oo naughty baby" William cooed, picking him up. Snow whined and William laughed when Snow licked his cheeks.

But now, the two jealous pups on the ground barked at William, scratching his leg for him to pick them up

"Oo my babies, come here" I cooed, kneeling on the ground and they rushed towards me.

"William, the thing is, I have to go to ENTERPLACE for a week. It's three hours away from here" I said slowly, looking at William's reaction and he stiffened

"Can't I come?" He asked softly, looking at me with sad puppy eyes and I couldn't help but smile at his attitude.

"Is William going to miss me?" I teased and he blushed but nodded, making my heart suddenly slam against my chest.

"Unfortunately, you can't. You have to look after the pups and it would be risky to leave this house alone" I poined out and he sighed

He dropped Snow on the ground and walked towards me, wrapping his arms around me. He then hugged me before burrying his face on my neck.

"Then, I need you to cuddle with me! When are you leaving?" He asked and I hugged him back, swaying us from side to side 

"In 2 hours" I replied and he sighed

"I've gotten so use to you and I don't know how to spend one week without you! I'm too attached to you" He complained and my stomach fluttered

I smiled and pressed him closer

"I'm going to miss you too, William" I said sincerely

William helped me pack my clothes and I watched as he waved at me reluctantly

During the whole ride, all I could do was think of him.

I miss him already...How am I going to spend one week without him?

One week took longer than it took for me to turn 25 and today was finally the day I was going home.

I was supposed to leave tomorrow morning but I missed William so much. We texted the whole time and I couldn't sleep without hearing his voice. I felt cold at night and missed his warm body and of course, his unique scent.

He smelt like home. 

I'm not talking about his sweat or body fragrance or anything, It's something unexplainable, something that I can only feel.

I messaged him an hour ago but he didn't answer

My stomach clenched in impatience as I recognised the familiar road that was 5 minutes from where I lived

Time seemed to drag slowly and finally, as soon as the car stopped, I opened the door without waiting for the driver to open it

"Can you please remove my bags and give it to the guards? Thank you" I said hurriedly to the driver before walking towards my door.

I could hear scratching at the door, loud barks and as soon as I opened it, I was met with three excited pups who couldn't control themselves. Since they were around 2 months, they were a bit heavier and taller than before. They jumped on me excitedly. I chuckled and played with them, my eyes searching for William.

When he didn't come down, I frowned and called Marcus, telling him to take care of my three pups.

"William sir is taking a bath" He replied and I frowned

At this hour?

It was 22.00!

I walked up the stairs, anticipation killing me.

I want to hug him tight against me, want to just embrace him and drown myself in his scent.

When I entered the room, I froze on the spot from the sight. The room was dark with lit candles around the place. William was waiting for me, sitting at the edge of the bed with just his brief on.

"Hi, Arthur. Welcome home" He whispered and my breath hitched.

I gulped, my eyes fixed on his beautiful body. He got up and slowly walked towards me, wrapping his hand around my neck

"Missed you" He whispered shyly before gently pressing a kiss on my forehead

"Come on, Arthur. Let's go take a bath" He said and I nodded, following him into the bathroom

"What if the candles burn the curtains? " I complained

"You're rich, you can afford another one" He replied with a smile and I let out a chuckle.

God, I missed this so much.

I missed him, and the pups so much!

He proceeded by taking off my blazer, unbuttoning my shirt before removing my belt

I stepped off my pants and caught his waist, a smirk on my lips

"I'm letting this for you to unwrap" I teased and he blushed

"I can't believe that I said you had a huge c)ck" He mumbled and I paused

"You remember?" I asked hopefully but he shrugged

"I remember small details. I don't really recall anything apart from that" He said and disappointed, I sighed

"It's alright, it doesn't matter. Like I said, nothing happened" I said and he smiled

"If you say so! Come on big guy! Oh and it's only for relaxation purpose so, calm your hormones okay?" He informed and I laughed.

Oh god did I miss you!

When he opened the door of the room that lead to the bathing area, I looked at the bathtub in surprise. It was filled with white foam and rose petals

"Come on, go first and I'll join you"He said and I stripped out my boxer, letting out a yelp when William slapped my cheeks

"I wanted to do that for so long!" He stated cheerfully while I turned to face him, narrowing my eyes

"Next time, warn me" I mumbled

I stepped into the tub and when William removed his boxer, he climbed in next to me. The tub was huge enough to accomodate both of us

He layed next to me, wrapping his hand around my waist.

He sighed and layed his head on my shoulder, his other hand rubbing my chest covered by the water

"How was your meeting?" William asked and I sighed

"Boring and tiring! I hate this life. I really want to step down" I mumbled

"When we get a kid, I promise" He said and I stiffened.

Okay.. I'm not going to hold a tiny human inside my stomach for 9 months! It freaks me out so much

Besides, I read that for male pregnancy, the chance of survival of the baby is only 45%!

I don't want to take the risk of losing my child. I wouldn't be able to bear it.

I prefer to adopt than face the pain of losing my precious child.

"We're adopting" I stated flatly and my breath hitched when his hand went to my stomach

"I want to take care of my pregnant husband" He whispered and I stiffened.

I sighed and pulled him closer

"We'll see one day" I mumbled half-heartedly

"I'm not going to force you, but, I can convince you" He said with a chuckle

I just hummed, closing my eyes while William rubbed his hand on my stomach.

"Let's shower now" William said after 20 minutes. The water was now cold.

"What do you think we just did?" I asked in amusement

"Nah, bathing is like soaking with water filled with body dirt, such as the sweats. So basically, we just bathed in our own dirt! Now, let's shower in clean water" He explianed and I smiled in amusement

"I have a gift for you" William s. I waid once we went in our room. I watched intently as he place a giftbox in my hand

"Open it" He whispered with a smile and I when I did do, I could not believe my eyes when I saw two golden pendant. They were half a heart that fit perfectly.

It stated 'His' in one half and in the other half was engraved 'Mine'

His & Mine

"The 'Mine' is for you, the 'His' is for me because I am the one who gifted this to you. You are mine and I am yours" He whispered and I could feel my heart race

"Turn it around" He whispered and I bit my lips, pausing when I saw the words engraved behind

"I love you" I whispered, stroking the words engraved on it and William cupped my chin, looking into my eyes

His eyes were filled with love and adoration

"I love you, Arthur" He whispered and that's all it took for me to burst into tears like a small kid, going in for a hug.
