I've never thought I'd say this but as the title suggests I am annocuming today that after 3 years this novel makes a return as a reboot!
By reboot I mean this current version will now be considered the old version but the reboot is the new version of Game of love. Hence, it is no longer discontinued as it has been for almost 3 years.
Additionally, a reboot means I'm starting everything anew, hence at the very beginning. The reboot version will be a way better version than the original.
Essentially the main ideas are kept but the novel has been reworked a lot and will have lots of changes. It's fair to say the reboot is a quality that I never managed to give for the original.
Also, as today marks the 3rd year anniversary since I first published my very first novel Game of love, the reboot is now available to read as of now on this platform, Wattpad and soon Inkitt as well.
And to make it even more extra special it comes out during the Olympics exactly like the original did 3 years prior when I came up with the idea of Game of love.
Now that I've announced it I want to briefly explain why I'm making a comeback now.
Skip to the Reboot details if you don't want to know my explanation for making this reboot.
Almost 3 years ago when I announced that the original novel Game of love would be discontinued, I mentioned how I had multiple issues.
Such as having not enough time, poor planning, not having the level of writing yet for such a novel and especially the issue of having bad grammar and bad formatting.
But after 3 years, 12 novels of different types, 2 sequels, 1 reboot and turning a horrible old idea of a novel into a successful novel all in less than 3 years, I can confidently say I am now an experienced writer and I am now more than ready to take on Game of love once again as a reboot.
Additionally, this summer comes at the right time for me to write it and considering it's the Olympics, it just had to be this year.
But also, despite having lost interest 3 years prior, I've decided to bring it back because I felt like it wasn't complete and never got to have its spotlight as it deserved.
But I essentially decided to make this reboot happen after making the reboot of my novel The LGBTQ+ gang and succeeded in making it a better version.
And most importantly, I knew how some of you a few years back were really interested in this novel and I deceived readers.
The idea of the novel was interesting but back then wasn't my time to write it with so little experience, but now after reviewing, learning and making so many changes to make it work, I'm ready to share it with the readers.
Reboot details
As it's been years I'm sure you must have forgotten what this novel was about but with the description, it might remind some of you.
Game of love, the reboot
Cover art
Note: This was drawn by me like all my book covers are too.
Main genre: Romance
Additional genre: BL (boyxboy)
Important to note:
-This novel is based on the Olympics but it is entirely fictional, hence it is not a true story or in other words a story based on real-life events. Hence, any resemblance to the 2024 Paris Olympics or any other Olympics is purely coincidental.
-To ensure this novel is not too similar to the 2020 and 2024 Olympics, certain information such as the city host is not the same, hence why the cover art suggests an American city as host.
Novel description:

Will this be a new threat to high-ranked American swimmer Enzo Buckley and spark a bigger rivalry between him and the emerging Spanish swimmer sensation? Or it will bring them much closer instead?
Follow the unique love story of the two Olympic athletes.

I hope you will enjoy the reboot!
Side note: Thank you for all the support those past 3 years. Today July 28th, 2024 marked the 3rd year anniversary since I first published my first ever novel and it would just be the beginning of an incredible journey and growth I've had since then.
It has been an honour to write and share my novels with readers over the last few years, it means a lot to me.
