I am Omega

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Aug 05, 2024

Jessica Garland could tell she’d caught Emma off guard, turning up in Glen Valley. She cackled to herself when her friend hung up. Emma hates surprises. One of my jobs as her bestie is to keep her on her toes and drag her work obsessed ass from the land of boring, into the realm of fun. Jessie giggled to herself and pulled her pink VW beetle into a parking bay. She looked up through the windscreen at the cute and punch little town cafe. It had the peace symbol sticking out of a cartoon slice of cake on the sign. Aww, that’s so cute. I hope they do good tea and their options aren’t simply black or white. I gotta have me some Ealy grey in a morning, Assam during the day, and camomile at night, or there will be hell to pay. She smirked to herself and averted her green eyes to the rearview mirror. She zhuzhed her curly blonde hair and pink highlights. Her pink lipstick was on point, and she winked at her gorgeous self. Alright Glen Valley. Let’s see how you won over my career focused friend so she decided to settle down in the back end of nowhere, isntead of chasing after a fancy position in a hospital.

That was their plan, after all. Once they were both qualified, they would both work in the same city, like Seattle, and use their well earned wages to share an apartment. They would work hard, party harder, and did everything together at college. Then Emma’s Ma get’s engaged and moves their whole family to Glen Valley. Emma starts some sort of apprenticeship and told me for hours how fucked up this place was. Jessie got out of her precious pink beetle and put her hands on the hips of her apple bottom jeans. Each butt cheek held pink diamantes in the shape of a crown, her white halter-neck vest had buttons down the middle, pushed her breasts together, and had no sleeves. Her wrists jingled with silver bracelets to match her earings, and a silver love heart pendant rested from a necklace she never took off. She walked over to her boot to change her driving pumps over for a pair of sleek white heeled sandals, and she held her pink fluffy clutch purse as she swaggered towards the cafe. Something about this town won over my career hungry bestie. Her grin grew as she pushed open the cafe doors. And I’m not leaving until I find out what, or who, dared to break up our bestie-plan.

She’s decided she wants to become a midwife, and no matter how Emma tries to get the truth out of her, Jessie won’t tell her. She also bumps into a very tall, dark and handsome Dorian Defoe, and decides that he is A, a sexy tall drink, and B, she’s hella thirsty. Jessie has never been denied before, and Dorian keeps turning her down.

Until he doesn’t! Jessie is a chaotic bundle of energy that get’s everyone dancing at the dance hall, and talks circles around anyone who tries to contain or steer the human away from trouble. Especially when trouble comes in the form of Dorian Defoe. Will she lighten his burden and teach Dorian how to have fun?

2, Hank Stevens, the eldest son of Jake and Tim Stevens, is on sentry duty, when the Alpha hears a woman pining. He tracks down the smell of an Omega in distress, and finds her being chased by hunters. Amber is rescued, and she has been traumatised by the humans that kept her prisoner. She was used to lure wolves away from the pack for hunters to pick off, but this time she managed to escape. She is covered in burns and scars, and doesn’t think she’s very nice to look at at all. Hank, though? He thinks she’s a delicate flower that needs help picking up her petals. Jake helps to take her in and tend to the feral girl, and Hank falls hard for her. She see’s his fireball tattoo on his left shoulder, and calls him her comet.

But what secret is she hiding behind her light brown eyes?
