Dear First Love,
This weekend, you took me out for a movie date. I dressed up really nicely, and my grandma even helped me dress up. I felt pretty, for the first time in a long while.
When you saw me, I noticed how your ears turned a little red. Then you said I looked lovely. It made me feel warm, whether you meant it or not.
The date was nice. But I couldn't pay attention to the movie because you were next to me. I kept stealing glances at you; did you notice? I hope you didn't. You might think I was weird if you did. After the movie, you took me to that cute little corner shop cafe. The mocha latte you recommended to me was really nice, and the cat design on the foam was adorable.
I might go there more often.
When you dropped me off at home, I think it was dark out already, but I wasn't really paying attention. I kissed you there. Did I catch you by surprise? I think it was adorable how you froze up, then wrapped your arms around me as we kissed.
That was my first kiss. Did you know?
The kiss was absolutely perfect. I'm not very good at it - I knew for sure - but it felt so right; so perfect. I think it was a good thing it was dark out, otherwise you would have seen me blushing like a tomato as I scurried back to my grandma's house afterwards.
I'm glad that you were my first kiss. The way you kissed me made me feel really loved and warm - should I like it that much? My grandma noticed me, I think, but she didn't say anything about how red my face was.
Sincerely,
H.
