How They Meet
A boy with brown hair and a face full of freckles is seen holding his hat on his head while he runs through town. The lanky boy takes a short cut through the old train tracks. This boy is Gale a very unorganized 14 year old. He is currently running to catch his bus to the next town. Running very late since he woke up at 12pm when he was supposed to be leaving by 10am at latest. Gale is supposed to be at the bus stop by now to meet his uncle and new guardian Anthony. Gale really is excited to meet the uncle his mom always talked about. Really excited about moving to a more suburban town and stop having to work on his grandad’s farm.
Gale finally makes it to the stop right before the bus leaves. Riding to his new home and the rapidly growing town Bilaite home to many middle class workers. The originally sunny morning started turning to a cloudier and darker setting with the sky turning a stormy grey. The rain started falling as Gale watches out the window seeing a strangely large amount of trees and big houses popping up as the bus drives pass. He sees how many of these homes seem to be designed from older to newer times the further the bus goes. Eventually stopping in the heart of the town’s shopping district with small apartments and businesses all around. He gets off the bus and looks around immediately getting his hat swiped off his head by a tall man with forest green eyes and slicked back short brown hair. He turned around to see the man who is smiling brightly showing his silver tooth. The man was easily twirling Gale’s old hat he got from his grandma that was still too big for him. The man spoke his voice what light and cheery. “Hello Guppy I see you were able to make it.” Gale grins and swipes the hat back. “You bet Sil I couldn’t let ya get out of gettin’ me lunch!” The man shakes his head saying “Guppy don’t start eating me dry yet. You just got here let me show you around first.” Gale only nods fixing his hat back on his head following his uncle Silver through the town while taking notes of all the foods he sees and wants to taste later. Definitely trying to do a number on the man’s wallet before the week is out.
