When Lee finally woke up, he found himself in darkness. There was moonlight but not enough to see what
was around him. He started panicking, and It didn't feel like there was anyone around, so he called out. "Help!!" He screamed. "Hello!! Someone please!!" Suddenly a warm hand clapped over his mouth. "Hush now." The boy hissed. "If you don't want to die then stay quiet." Lee shoved him away and tried to stand but when he did, his left leg wouldn't move or support him, so he ended up falling hard into the ground. "I dislocated your hip." The boy pointed out. "You can't stand, so there's no point in trying to escape." Lying in the dirt where he'd fallen, Lee writhed in agony, trying desperately not to cry. "Quit being so dramatic." The boy rolled his eyes. "You're not dying." Lee didn't respond. "Well I'm going to sleep while it's still dark." The boy sighed, walking away.
The sun rose in the sky and Lee still hadn't slept. The light had revealed that they were under a small wooden bridge in the woods. He watched the water rush by as he sighed. Not once in his entire life did he think he'd end up in a situation like this. The boy appeared out of nowhere and came to sit down next to him. Lee flinched away. The boy looked at him amused. "Afraid of me are we now?" The boy smirked. Lee didn't respond but pulled away a little more. "Oh don't worry you big baby. I'm not going to hurt you again." The boy reassured unconvincingly. "Now c'mere so I can see your face." Lee didn't move. The boy sighed and leaned towards him. Lee flinched again as the boy grabbed his jaw and turned his head to see the bruises. "Hm. Looks like I got you pretty good, huh?" The boy noted, brushing Lee's bruised cheek. "There. Now it's gone." The boy let go of Lee's jaw and stood up. Lee looked down at his reflection in the water and saw that all the bruises were really gone. "How'd you..." He started, mystified. "I can do a lot more than that." The boy grinned. "Oh! And also my name is Cypress." "Mine's Lee." Lee said, hesitantly. "Well, Lee," Cypress laughed. "Are you ready to get going?" "Not really..." Lee grimaced, figuring he didn't really have a choice. "Oh well to bad!" Cypress hoisted Lee off the ground and into his arms. Lee yelped in surprise as Cypress carried him almost effortlessly down a worn trail through the woods.
"Where are we?" Lee questioned nervously, afraid to anger Cypress. Cypress shrugged in return. "I just went through the alleyways until I reached the outskirts of the city." "You're not going to... murder me out here... are you?" Lee asked anxiously. Cypress laughed. "No! Of course not!" Lee let out a sigh of relief. "I mean, what's the use in a dead hostage? I'm just going to torture you until your mother is willing to make a deal with me." Lee immediately threw himself out of Cypress's arms and crashed to the ground. He scrambled up to stand on one leg while clinging to a small tree. "W-what are you going to do to me!?" Lee stammered, his voice coming out way more terrified than he meant it to. Cypress's eyes narrowed, though his grin remained. He took slow predatory steps towards Lee. "Stay back monster!" Lee shouted, grabbing a tree limb and pointing it at Cypress. Cypress snatched it and tossed it aside. "It's almost like you want me to fuck you up." He hissed, coming within inches of Lee's face. Lee tried to take a step back but forgot about his leg and fell. "Now either quit being difficult and let me carry you, or I'll knock you out again." Cypress growled, annoyed. Lee looked away and didn't move or say anything else. "Good boy." Cypress smirked, lifting him off the ground and continuing down the trail.
