As the sky turned bright pink and orange, Cypress stopped next to a small stream. He set Lee down on the bank then sat beside him. He pulled Lee's phone out of his pocket and turned it on. "What kind of dumbass doesn't lock their phone?" Cypress snickered, scrolling through Lee's contacts. Lee didn't reply as he just stared in the opposite direction. Cypress put the phone away and looked at him in mock concern. "Aww~ are you mad at me?" Cypress teased. "You poor little thing." Lee's face was red with frustration as he whipped around to face Cypress. "Is your entire personality sarcasm and arrogance!?" Lee snapped angrily. "I swear, you're the most aggravating person in the entire world." "Oh, why thank you." Cypress grinned. "But technically I'm your captor. You're not supposed to like me." "I really hate you." Lee growled in return. Cypress rolled his eyes with a sigh, picking up Lee's phone again. "Why don't we see if your mother is smart enough to do what I say?" He muttered, scrolling down to Yumi's contact. Lee's heart started pounding in his ears. He knew that if his mother didn't listen, he would be killed, and until she gave in, he would most likely be tortured. "Hello?" Yumi asked on the other side of the phone. Her words broke Lee's train of thought. "Hi!" Cypress greeted cheerily. "You're Yumi, I presume." "Who are you?" Yumi hissed. "The person who will kill your son if you don't do exactly as I say." Cypress replied. "That's your threat...?" Yumi asked, sounding disappointed. "Go for it. I don't really care what you do with him." Lee's heart dropped, confusion and fear flooding through him. "So... you wouldn't care if I stabbed his eyes out? Cut him open and ripped him apart from the inside? Slowly dismembered him and then mailed you all the pieces?" Cypress questioned curiously. Lee flinched, tears filling his eyes. "No. Not really." Yumi sighed. "Have fun." She hung up and both boys sat in complete silence for a minute. Suddenly Cypress stood up and threw the phone as far as he possibly could. "FUCK!!" He screamed in frustration, punching the nearest tree with all his strength.
